Thanks very much AFV, and glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for the help with the marches. I hope you liked "Flying Eagle" - I think you said you hadn't really heard it before. Many of the Blankenburg marches are very good. I can't keep up with it all! I see your new video from today is already "up" on TH-cam, and I've still got your yesterday one to watch properly. Watching them will be a good way to cheer oneself up from the depressing rainy weather!
Well that first march would have me hopping and skipping alongside if I was there (just as well you didn’t feel tempted to bob about in time Mike!) The sound is superb as they sail majestically in sight and of course the crescendo as they near is wonderful. I’m sat here with headphones on and fighting the urge to have it blasting even more😊 All these marches are literally music to my ears but I’ve developed a real liking to “The King’s Guard” especially when they rev it up at 6:37 and then get the afterburners going at 6:52 😍 No wonder Charlotte’s girl is bobbing, I’d be bouncing🤭 Thanks for this fab video👍
Thanks AnnofWales! I thought it all sounded particularly superb today. I like "The King's Guard" very much too - it's one that doesn't seem to get played so often at Windsor, which I find a bit surprising. I don't think any hopping, skipping and bobbing from me would do wonders for the camera-shake!
Hi, Mike. I see my girl at 6:34 and my elderly gentleman friend at 8:38. I like, “flying eagle, “ because the high notes remind me of chirping birds as portrayed in animated TV series. I don’t mind the airplane noise. How did you end up on the opposite corner from your normal spot? 😂
Hi Charlotte! Yes, your girl was more prominent today, not hidden behind the wall. She'll be a flying eagle herself soon if she carries on like that! Talking of chirping birds, did you hear the ones from about 03:25 - they sound almost like part of the band! I went to the opposite corner to keep everyone guessing, to avoid some noisy crowds and to get a better view of some of my favourite players and instruments.
It was nice to see the PC leading being in step with the band.
Great video. Excellent 👍
Glad I could help with the marches today!

@@MikeM14-40 aw, come on, Mike. Let’s see you do a hip shake after they march back to the barracks😉
Hi@@charlottecunningham2141 , only if I know there are at least 3 good camera people filming - I wouldn't want it to go to waste!
