How much for all the wood ? Great project!
It was under $100 for all the MDF and lumber if you had to buy. It was even cheaper for us as we used a bunch of scrap lumber for the frame we had left over from other projects!
The fireplace looks great, how warm was it?
You can set the temperature yourself! It’s definitely strong enough to warm our bedroom up!

How u put surround sound on it
Put it on the top if you wanted? 🤷 Or build it in the bottom - really depends on size and how much work you want to make of it. On our Gas fireplace we added it in the fireplace surround.
What kind of wood was used for the outside?
It’s 1/2” MDF
