You guys should do a video on how to ride at the track for the average viewer. Body position, how you use the bars, braking, etc... Your fans would love that!
Neither bike is something for me, but something about this V2 is just very pure and more "right tool for the job" than the new Streetfighter. It's a looker, too. Looking forward to the review.

Do you not like Ducati's? I rode the old 959 and wasn't a fan, also didn't like the 1199/1299 too aggressive and the chassis (or lack of) seemed to struggle, I hope they have got it right with this one. The V4 is amazing so no reason they haven't got this figured out.

Wonderful stuff. It must be difficult to talk and ride. I have a helmet with built-in microphone and speakers so might try it one day, but things happen so quickly!
No point sadly. It’s become busier and busier every year, and they let anyone with a camera into press day, so you can’t get any clean footage of the bikes

Very interested to see if this new gen 959 will make a good bike as purely a track toy, first gen small bore Panigales have always interested me for that use.
Isn't this just a repackaged L-twin 959? It cracks me up, Ducati was insistent that the old engine was a L-twin, and not a V-twin. Now they want to call this Old engine a V2 (V-twin)?
How is the camera positioned? This is hands down one of the best on boards I've seen that does a really good job of conveying what it is like to actually ride a bike. I really really like it!
It's on the chin of the helmet... normally on regular track days they won't let you have your camera there... but I guess on press releases you can do it... :)

Seems like a really good package. I'm seriously torn between the Panigale V2 and a Lightning Strike Carbon edition. Not going to be all that much difference in price. Oh well I still have a year before I buy - Never buy a first edition

Those are events for press... so I guess they are not that strict... the best POV vids are with helmet cameras but you have to be 44 teeth guy or Nicolo Canepa ;=)

@@wolfurine yeah personally I do like the red but I have wrapped a few of my bikes in the past once I got bored of them it's not the easiest think to do but extremely rewarding and not too expensive even for custom stuff then after a few months or years take it off and the standard colors are nice again. I like the black and white colors as well on this bike but like I say it's a easy thing to sort, wouldn't keep me from buying it
