Quads are a culture here in northern America. I couldn't imagine not having one. If a yard has a garage or barn in it you can bet that there's a quad in it.
I have a King Quad from 2013 that still cranks right up and everything still works amazingly. It has over 13,000 miles on it and doesn’t seem to care. The 4-wheel drive with difflock is for going through deep mud and/or extreme terrain. It’s basically unstoppable.
My first outing on a non-two-wheeler was a three wheeler. I did exactly what you said, leaned in the corner, put my foot out and promptly road over my own ankle. That's the day I decided to stay on two wheels.
Despicable things ! If you flip backwards, it falls on top of you. If you fall forwards, it falls on top of you. If you fall sideways, it falls on top of you. And of course they're safe, 4 wheels so you don't have to wear a helmet....so they learn the hard way !!

if you're falling over that many times, buy a wagon
Not a tourer, then.
Metric is every bit as arbitrary as Imperial….use what you are comfortable with.
