What is the reason for putting lighter rollers on the CVT? It grabs the belt quicker/harder? Sorry I'm not a 4 wheeler guy I come from dirtbikes, this is new to me

It’s kind of like re gearing on dirt bikes, like putting a smaller sprocket up front, or larger one in back. More bottom end

If you dont change to a lighter secondary spring with the 18 gram roller you will hit the rev limiter at top speed and lose 5 mph on top end. 18 gram change by itself, not good. Yes a bit better bottom rpm. But tops out at 55 mph as it hits the rev limiter

@@chadahlers2051 I didn’t do it for top speed, I never get anywhere near top speed

well with 28" wheels you're not going to get the wheelie performance you hoped for. You'll have to go to a Can-am 850 or better. It depends on terrain you ride, I have long steep climbes up moutain sides, 26" with 16 gram rollers, coop3 mod , 1mm shim, super stiff secondary spring and she's ready for wheelies in high all day long. But with 28" i bet you'll never get a wheelie machine except in low. the single lung is torquey but she's not made for 28" mudslingers. and on top of that , the frame bushings and suspension will take a beating , My first king had snow tracks and it beat the hell out of the suspension mounts as thats a lot of leverage for what was designed for 25" wheels
