@@OmegaChu There's a throwing spear in a chest in the heart shaped lake, if I'm not mistaken. I used to go there and just throw it before reloading the save so that the chest was left untouched. It can have that modifier, but I doubt it's guaranteed.

If you hit something, you go and pick It up along with the boomerang. I’m sure an expert could angle it well enough to take out the prey, AND come back, somewhat. In real life, boomerangs were rarely used as a weapon of war, if at all.

i had an account from 2017 the day the game came out, i was like 5 years old and understood somehow. But i took A LONG time doing the dlc it took me like until 2019 to do the trial of the sword but i finished the champions ballad in like 2018 december.
I remember after getting off the great sky island i would wander around and eventually found one of those rocks to reverse back up. Got stuck for a while and barely dived in water

As someone who treats weapons like disposable pieces of plastic long throw is actually really nice for me cause it’s just easier to hit that one dumb enemy now
Regarding that last point, whenever I am farming weapons like for example; going to every Major Test of Strength to get lots of guardian weapons, and whenever I get long throw, I use the weapons that have long throw to defeat the funny little robots, so that I can get even more long throw. It is truly a never ending cycle.
I managed to get a good use out of it. There was a lizalfos with a bow sniping me from far away and I was clean out of arrows, but I had a long throw spear. Killed him in a single throw.

1. Never restarted, long enough game as is so idk 2. Never really gotten lost but have tried pulling with 10 3. Have attempted to kill the buff Yiga clan guy when I’m in the hideout, not really anyone else 4. I just never use the long throw aspect
I relate to everything, but the Lost Forest. I got lost twice then noticed a pattern with how the grass moved with the wind and found my way. Lot of people tend to forget the grass is your only guide in the Lost Forest.
“When you get that long throw, you throw that long throw” is a line i still frequently use to this day. It’s like the guy saying shock dodge when you shock dodge in MK8.
I like to make Link jump in lava just to what will happen and I think my favorite jump in lava scene in any Zelda game to this date would have to be in Skyward Sword😂
random info: in totk you can walk through the lost woods (after unlocking the area) by walking in the direction the wind blows. Putting it out there for the no fast travel peeps who might need to go there at a later time, only to find out that they took away the torches. Just walk where the specs of light go, and if they change directions, follow them.
Just use the glitch where you set a bundle of wood down right next to the Master Sword and then light it on fire. Then, go to a spot where it says pull, but when you adjust the camera, it says sit. Sit by the fire and spam A as fast as you can. That’s how you get the Master Sword without the 13 hearts you normally need

While playing through botw a few years ago, I had a guide called a friend who basically helped me progress through the game (it was my first zelda game) he was the only reason why I didn't die at 8 hearts getting the master sword.
About the korok forest thing… the very first time I went in, I didn’t know about the fire puzzle and wandered around aimlessly and actually found my way there first try, I didn’t learn how lucky I was until after I actually learned the trick

When I restarted Botw for my Master Mode playthrough, the only reason I didn’t die from forgetting about having to get the paraglider again, was because I used glitches to transfer a lot of items and key items to my new save.
Don't forget the stick just at the Shrine of Resurrection's entrance. I'm certain almost every Zelda player has picked it up when playing BoTW for the first time.

It’s ridiculous that the spears always break when you throw them at someone. THATS WHAT THEY ARE MADE FOR
A lot of ancient javelins were designed to break on impact so that the enemy can't simply pick it up and throw it back.

Fun Korok forest tip, if you pull out a torch, follow the embers after lighting it on fire, and you’ll be led straight to the deku tree.

That long throw is DEFINITELY handy for the Thundra temple; trust me it was a pain trying to get all the orbs.

When I restarted Botw for my Master Mode playthrough, the only reason I didn’t die from forgetting about having to get the paraglider again, was because I used glitches to transfer a lot of items and key items to my new save.
Don't forget the stick just at the Shrine of Resurrection's entrance. I'm certain almost every Zelda player has picked it up when playing BoTW for the first time.
I have done none of these things (yet). I just started my first playthrough of the game (I am absolutely loving this game aaaaa this is legit my first time playing the game it was 100% the first game I bought when I got my Switch earlier this year) but now I have a list of things to do for funsies...hehe
