I don't get the criticism... as a creative professional whose main focus is lean video production for low budget businesses for social media purposes (talking easy-to-make 10-30 second videos) this is exactly what I needed. Tbh this info is something I've paid for in the past, and here it is free on TH-cam. This will 100 % help me deliver more value to my clients and sell my productions. It's interesting how different the iPhone footage looks when watching this video on a smartphone vs a big computer screen. On a smartphone it looked flawless, but when I watched the same video on my computer I noticed a lot more imperfections from the iPhone footage.
I watched it on a 22 inch monitor, and it didn't look fantastic. I guess anything kind of OK would look great on a smartphone, because the display is just too small.
Pushing the limits !!! 🔥 the great product filmmakers out there like Joey and Austen but shooting with an iPhone is stepping up the talent!! Great video man!
Hahaha that’s a great point. I damn you can replicate the lighting with cheaper gear and the iPhone it self is not “cheap” It cost the same as a EOS R for a max 🤣
So did you expect them not to "use the gear they have" to please the viewers. Like he said at the start the main reason the other videos using the phone looked great was because they were shot outside in well lit areas. This wasn't a low light test....

@@jsaves3225 I know! I actually started my Channel on TH-cam when I just had an Android Cell Phone. I was able to save for a new camera after a couple of years (I have 2 kids) and finally got to the point where I had enough money saved up to focus on TH-cam fulltime
Awesome video... but at 4:30 when covering the different lenses, first you show the bottom lens as the telephoto, then you say it is the wide lens. Love you guys' videos though! Keep the great content coming!
If you used the native app, how did you control shutter speed? You specifically mentioned needing to be at 1/480 when shooting 240 fps, so curious how you achieved it, if you did.
Great video! Ihave read that iphone 12 PM has a problem with minimal focus distance compared to normal 12 due to larger sensor. Have you noticed such a problem?
