See...This is the most rage-induced moment I've had in the entire game...and I rushed my ass to save Nanako-chan. Never completed a dungeon in the first run through since i was a new player but I did it for Nanako.
I find her adorable she's not as annoying as some other characters can be.
+Tomu Sentou Yosuke sets me off. I don't really know exactly why besides the fact that he never shuts the fuck up, but I fucking hate him. Hell I even downloaded P4AU (free this month) for the sole purpose of beating the shit out of him. Even then, he still never shuts up.
Yeah Yosuke is just the 'best friend' character. Still I raged so hard when Nanako was kidnapped.

The animation made this scene even more emotional. If I remember right, everybody had to restrain Yu from going into the TV after Nanako, even after they said it was too dangerous.
The Investigation Team didn't even wait a day; thanks to Yosuke, they snuck at the back of Junes after closing.
P4A was great at giving Yu an actual soul.
@@aquartertwo In the manga, Teddie and Souji enter the TV from Namatame's delivery truck while the others enter the TV from Junes.

I always thought about this, if they recieved a warning letter at thier HOUSE, why would Dojima take Yu to the station, leave him there and leave Nanako at that house alone? Not very smart for a detective.

I don't know why, but I always liked the scene where Naoto's running through the rain. Really shows how much she (and the rest of the Investigation Team) care about Nanako.

What i love with Naoto's scene is that she realized the situation quickly and ran to the Dojima's Residence immediately with no hesitation while explaining everything on the go.
Yu have been caught and being interrogated, the entire crew is in a state of shock and confusion *and* Nanako appears on the Midnight Channel while her being all alone in her house. The first thing Naoto do is ran towards the Dojima Residence right there and now to protect her.
It's a pretty heartwarming for me
This part of the game really was frustrating. I maxed out both Dojima and Nanako's Social Links and yet still Dojima acted like nothing happened between us. Worse, there was a TV in the interrogation room and I was totally honest with him the whole time. Like seriously, the writers really tested our intelligence; why the hell didn't Yu just walk up to the TV and stick his hand in? Ugh and Adachi, that bastard....
I wish the social link levels were integrated into the story as well, but that's a ton of variables to work through considering everyone's disposition towards Yu and would've taken way more time and resources to develop.
This is true. I wonder if Persona 5 will test this out or not. Would be neat if we got at least one that tried. Can't wait
Not sure if you've played it yet or not, but 5 does actually integrate social link/confidant levels and who you chose to romance in certain scenes throughout the game to varying degrees, ranging from incredibly subtle to just outright being a scene that only exists if the character reached a certain rank.
It was apparently a remnant from when Dojima was the killer. Guess they forgot to change this scene along with the killer?

I rushed as much as i can to find Nanako in this chapter. She is such a cutie, protect her all at cost.

If he did that, Adachi could easily feign ignorance about having the power too. That would make Yu more of a suspect.

@@anng3ls294 You're misunderstanding. Of course Adachi used the TV for that, but nobody saw him. If Yu stuck his hand in the TV, and then accused Adachi too soon, Adachi could just pretend he can't go through the TV.

I have to say that he could have said that since they didn't knew about the murders Adachi would have the right to say wow then that settles it that settles that is Namatame because if they didn't know about them then that settles that:
- They are the worst detectives in the world.
- Namatame is the killer.

Probably didn't want to scare Nanako, but he still should have done it at the police station when they were alone. Its time like these that video game logic infuriates me.
I was thinking of the TV at the police station, but I suppose using the TV at home would've saved a bit of time... and possibly traumatized Nanako. Still, that's a far better trade-off than leaving her all alone to get kidnapped.

@@DarthJoshReturns No he really isn't. This is a big priority to him because Yu is basically family to him, Yu lied to him about previous activity he was dabbling in, especially when in danger. Of course he wouldn't be happy.

@@ceecee6521 Actually, Adachi already knew Yu can enter the TV world which is why he sent those warning letters to Dojima's house. Also, Yu showing his uncle he can enter TV world would not solve anything but making it worst because Dojima would not let him enter the TV anymore and will definitely restrict his freedom.
@@player2-lightwater914 Or Yu would be judged as the murder because he would be the only person known by the police with such strange power and we can´t forget that the murders started just after his arrival to Inaba. He would have ended up in the jail probably.

since I haven't played golden I was think from the time between the start of the video and the police station (I think) there was a lighting bolt so I thought a lot of shadows or something were casting zio

Dojima expected him to. It was sort of obvious he was surprised he got mail to begin with.

Hearing Naoto's explanantion about why Nanako would fit the pattern of being shown on TV felt a little off to me. Because I clearly don't remember seeing any scene where someone said Nanako's name on TV.
Granted I'm only just playing through the game for the first time, so I may have missed it if there was a scene. If there is one, please let me know. I probably just don't remember seeing it.
Nanako's name was not mentioned on TV. She was only mentioned as an elementary student and she was not shown on TV. Her name and her photo was published in a newspaper by a reporter who did some background checks on her identity.
It literally explained that nanakos identity was revealed in the newspaper
...Did Adachi send that letter because he wanted Dojima and Yu out of home for Namatame to get Nanako, or did he seriously not want Nanako to be taken and tried to warn Yu?
The former seems likely.
Probably both...Or neither. He only wanted his "fun" to continue, but never knew the next victim would be Nanako. He probably didn't even watch the Midnight Channel prior to writing that note either.

@@lexo632 Depending on who his victims are? Perhaps. He apparently cares enough about Yu and Ryotaro to address them as "Yu-Kun" and "Dojima-San" respectively. And judging from his letter from jail, he still cared about Nanako.
Despite what he says, he did gain a connection with Dojima, Nanako, and Yu if you did his SL. Nanako was probably somebody he didn’t intend for this to happen to, but he probably went along with it all the same.
What I don't understand is that Yu got a letter just like that beforehand so why the fuck would he think it's a good idea to open it RIGHT IN FRONT OR DOJIMA AND NANAKO?

***** IMO Golden is well worth getting a Vita just on it's own merits (and this is from someone who still loves the original P4). Even the 'minor' additions make Golden *far* better than the original IMO. Plus, the Vita also has a good library of games in addition to golden (like Deadman's Cross [free], Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines [well worth the $20 price tag], Tales of Hearts R, Freedom Wars, etc.).

You know honestly this would have turned out alot better if Dojima just kept you in the house and just had a conversation with you. You didn’t have to tell him the complete truth but explain that you were the ones that found and saved people. You didn’t need to explain the tv world just say you found the victims
Except just finding the victims isn't enough to get a threat letter. If his involvement were asked to be elaborated on, lying would help and the truth is just insane. Yu would have to be taken to the station for protection regardless.

Hey RandomChannelPlox if your the protagonist choose to kill Namatame to avenge Nanako, the game ends with her death and the one is responsible is Adachi so just telling u a hint.
Honestly, I have no sympathy for Dojima in this part. The guy interrogates his nephew, which I get it's his job, but leaving his own daughter alone resulting in her kidnapping. It's his own damn fault.

Hmm... so Adachi had everything under his control without anyone realising. He tricked Namatame into ''saving'' people, he acted like an imbecile to prevent any suspicion on him, he used Namatame to give himself immunity from the other crimes... etc etc. Hmm. Akechi, this is how you be the culprit behind something, not by GIVING YOURSELF AWAY NEAR ENOUGH IMMEDIATELY AFTER INTRODUCING YOURSELF GODDAMN IT. Igor had his hints here and there but a passionate persona player could realise it quickly as well. The chairman in P3 was also suspicious due to his prior knowledge of the dark hour. Effectively, Adachi was the best twist villain as even if you haven't figured it out by a certain point he just gets away with it and gives you a bad ending.
