It's funny because no one ever questions the fact that Scooby can talk within the actual Scooby-Doo franchise. It would be kind of like if in Kingdom Hearts people acknowledge that Donald Duck and Goofy don't belong in a World inhabited exclusively by humans (for those of you who haven't played Kingdom Hearts, when the party visits a world not inhabited by people, they use magic to change their appearance so they can blend in. They become animals in Lion King, Toys in Toy Story, etc. But Donald and Goofy have no problem just waltzing into a world inhabited by humans as they normally look). Awesome video! As a fan of both Scooby Doo and Persona 4 this was super entertaining to watch. I love some of the points you brought like how much free time the gang have over the Investigation Team. I wonder what would remain of the rest of Yu's year after the murder is solved, there are still some thruth for them to find out, but I wonder If they would be more inspired by the gang to become a real deal Investigation Team or they just will do next to nothing afterwards, as they think there are so little left for them to figure out like the Marie stuff. Was gonna say the murder case yes they would probably figure it out faster but afterwards no they aint doing shit yu narukami is necessary for the entire thing
I think this does bring some problems tho? if adachi just didn't confees and went into the tv yu and the other wouldn't be strong enough to stop him at this point them beating him was what made him confess originally and if adachi dies in the tv world or if turns he turns humanity into shadows it all doesn't everything kinda go to hell? P.S: would shaggy even have a shadow? he doesn't really hide his true self so he would probably just get his persona
Adachi himself isn't strong, the whole point is that he's a sad little man; in the game at least (the anime makes him really strong lmao) the group runs up on him and absolutely curbstomps him with the power of friendship, but you are right in the end. They would get obliterated by Ameno Sagiri and humanity would end then and there.
@skunthundler after looking into it some more, they would actually lose if they fight him too Early he is actually able to control shadows Both p4 and p4 arena help show this adachi is an ass but he isn't a weak persona user by any means plus they would only have 4 persona user's with them and yu wouldn't have gained enough power from bonds at this point
@@kadeemheron5041 Didn’t Adachi get a boost in power by “fusing with his shadow”? Or am I just misremembering something? @revolvingworld2676 I don't think so he has his shadow eyes and voice differences, but that's it the game doesn't really tell us but he dose have his persona so most likely not but maybe
The Scooby Gang makes it a lot quicker to catch Adachi. but I don't think they can do it without the P4 Cast because they have no way to get into the TV world without Yu. And even if they had a way in, the Scooby Gang aren't complex enough to easily awaken to their personas even if they're already their true selves, let alone the wild card Ability, and without Teddie they don't have any way to get back to The real world
Don't forget that they killed the source of all evil, that has been infecting humanity and driving people to do horrible deeds to satisfy their selfish desires for hundreds of years already, after it had kill everyone they had ever cared for and it was about to destroy the whole world, they defeated this evil entity and by doing that reset all of reality and its influence was erased from all of history like it never had existed in the first place
@@woobgamer5210 That's true but the version used for this video although fun characters they are not as complex as the P4 cast and again without Teddie they have no way to get back to the real world
Honestly this is great. Admittedly I was hoping Scooby and Shaggy would atleast get Personas. Well... I guess Shaggy technically does, so it depends whether or not he uses it.
This is good. You should do this with other media, like could they solve the mystery of the movie "Seven", or could they solve and catch Bishop from the movie "Juice", or could they expose Umbrella from "Resident Evil"?
This was ridiculous but in the best way possible. I've always liked Scooby Doo and I'm currently playing Persona 4 Golden. I did watch the anime adaptation first but I'm still really enjoying the game. I just saved Nanako on my game and I'm looking forward to the rest of the game.
Reminder that the Scooby Gang has fought space witches with the band KISS, solved an ancient astec conspiracy whilst being hunted by armed Nazi robots, went through a digital game SAO style, fought off werewolves with voodoo dolls of them, and literal actual murderous terrorist who were thwarted by the gang. This is like only in the top 10 of stupidest Scooby-Doo cases, I'm like 90% sure they clear, unless this is not one of the 5 different Scooby Gangs mentioned.
Hey man I just watched the whole entire video and wanted to tell you the concept of Scooby Doo and Persona 4 of what if both them had a crossover was awesome. Not only that Yu gets more time in Inaba and hang out with his friends but it solves the case a lot faster instead of almost the end of the year to solve of who done the two murders and the fact it also saves another person from dying of a copycat murder. And I do agree with the fact that if Naoto got these facts a lot sooner then it she would had obviously pin point it on Adachi for giving very easy hints to teenagers that only police should know of police only like I know he's clumsy but who does that as a police officer? And if the investigation team was aloud to stay out at night a lot more then a couple more minutes and have to worry about school then they would had gotten Namatame a lot sooner instead of putting tons of people's life at risk of dying in the tv world and it would had been something else if the mystery inc gang got persona's as well anyways other then me typing a long paragraph cool video man I can't wait to see more crossover ideas you have!
While I enjoy the absurdity of this video, I do wonder how the gang members separated from Velma were able to communicate without her around (for instance, Shaggy/Scooby and Nanako asking for permission, or Shaggy talking to the armed Yosuke at Junes) Of course, I'm willing to imagine some of the people in Inaba could speak at least basic English, but being a country kind of town, wouldn't that be less likely than some sort of city? I think the language barrier would slow down their process. At least as long as Velma isn't around. This is one such time where splitting up wouldn't work entirely in their favor. This isn't meant to be criticism, just a question I had during several parts of the video. And thanks for your hard effort, this was fun to listen to while I was out on a drive.
I touched on this in the video but basically I viewed it as when I played Persona 4 in English. Instead of that being a roadblock I just opted to think they are in the English dubbed P4. But you are correct had I wanted to lean into that, splitting up would not be ideal.
@@NathinOut ah, I must have glazed over that part. Thanks for clarifying. I do wonder how much slower the mystery gang would have been if Inaba was legitimately just primarily Japanese with Velma as the sole interpreter for the gang. Splitting up helps them gather information more quickly, and they might miss key clues if they can't. Of course, Yu's team would probably proceed unimpeded anyway, but assuming they don't work together, I wonder if it would go much differently.
P4 gang are actual idiots. Yukiko literally causes the deaths of several people cause of forgetting obviously strange behavior. I feel so bad for Naoto having to carry the school deliquents on her back.
So I think there are a few issues with this, we do use the gang's past experiences. ...which means Adachi is the "red herring" which I think would throw them for a loop. Namatame also being caught so quickly would likely have consequences. I doubt Adachi would act out as much in this scenario as he doesn't have a bunch of victories, he sees everything crumbling quickly and would play more defensively. Given he is smart throwing Shaggy or Scooby in the TV first is pretty off as well since the due are often the last ones standing of the Gang. If anything Velma would be thrown into the TV given she is the smartest and biggest threat. Also back to the Inn scene, he'd likely make a gun threat and then add "Who said I was going to fire it out here?" before going into the TV likely taking whoever he pushed in as a hostage. I thin this was all things considered this video was good though, it just favored the Gang a bit too much and played Adachi as stupider then he was.
In defense of Adachi constantly implicating himself (ick), he planned that. He enjoyed the process on getting one over on the investigation team and purposely fed them info to see how they would react. His entire game was to see if they could piece it all together. To be fair, he DID occasionally slip up and unintentionally give them info, including some of the final evidence that caught him, but most of it was intentional.
Extremely unfortunate that because the scooby gang did this, everyone will now become a shadow thanks to Ameno No Sagari and Izanami 😔 (The P4 gang has no reason to go into the TV World anymore, and Teddie is left alone. The P4 gang also does not befriend Kanji, Rise, or Naoto, and is also severely underpowered. RIP humanity).
I mean Not really The bad endings only happen if the culprit isn't found or Yu teams with Adachi, The neutral ending is if you don't persue Izanagi. Adachi was a super important part of the plan.
@@woobgamer5210 Not true, as the fog will eventually spread again unless the true ending is done. Adachi was only a puppet in the grand scene of things and since Yu never truly made bonds, he'll never get the World Arcana since he had no reason to continue. Both Sagiris are still inside Adachi and Namatame and will continue their influence, while Izanami gets away scot free with her biased judgement, completely unnoticed thanks to the Scooby gang and their meddling. So yeah, GGs.
This video made me remember just how easy Adachi made things for himself, but the reason it took so long for him to be caught is less because of lack of intelligence, but moreso because of luck on Adachi's side & getting Naoto as late as they did But with the Scooby Gang here, that's not an issue
I do wonder what Shaggy's shadow would be like, since it doesn't really seem like there's a big disparity in who he is that he keeps from others. Frankly, the funniest thing would be the kids finding him just having an eating contest with his shadow, because I really don't think he has that inner conflict. Adachi pushed in one of the few people that probably wouldn't get killed by his shadow. Now, the real question is what his persona would be.
I can imagine Scooby actually going in with the Investigation Team to save Shaggy. Not only is Shaggy his best friend, but his sense of smell could probably find him much better than Teddy's, especially with that closeness in mind. I'm picturing this dungeon as a haunted house. Halfway through, they come across Scooby's Shadow, who berates his other self for his misguided loyalty; after all, the IT seems pretty capable, and all Scooby is-heck, all he's ever been- is dead weight. Battle inevitably ensues, the Shadow taking the form of a hulking canine made entirely of rocks. The IT beats the Shadow, and Scooby gets his own Persona: Hachiko, looking like a stone-grey dog on a pedestal. Scooby is a little drained afterward, as usual, but animals are more resilient than teenage humans, and one Scooby Snack break later (given to Yu by Freddy "just in case Scoob needs a pick-me-up"), the trek continues. Everyone finally gets to Shaggy already confronted by his own Shadow. Shadow Shaggy looks like he's having the time of his life in this house of horror, but Real Shaggy wonders how *anyone* can enjoy this, with the Shadow rebutting that if Shaggy truly was as cowardly as he claims, he'd have left this line of work a long time ago. After Shaggy denies everything, the Shadow becomes a large samurai in pink armor (almost like someone recolored the Black Samurai). But between the IT and Scooby, the Shadow goes down, and Shaggy is saved. (And if Shaggy ever got a Persona out of it, I'm thinking Momotaro, here depicted as a small figure wearing bulky peach-shaped armor.)
If they are there to investigate a murder, they are not tourists, they are working. Therefore they would need a working visa and not a tourist visa, so the 90 days limit doesn't apply to them.
They are on vacation but got swept up into this. So they are tourists in this scenario. They also aren’t working with the Japanese police on this, nor would the police except help from foreign teenagers on a local investigation. They had enough issues with just Naoto. I don’t see them being approved for a work visa.

Them solving it faster might cause some problems then
Adachi himself isn't strong, the whole point is that he's a sad little man; in the game at least (the anime makes him really strong lmao) the group runs up on him and absolutely curbstomps him with the power of friendship, but you are right in the end.
@@kadeemheron5041
Didn’t Adachi get a boost in power by “fusing with his shadow”? Or am I just misremembering something?
(We know normally Shadows and personas are the same thing in the series, but Yu, Namatame and Adachi did not get a Persona from their shadow, they practically were given theirs as a gift.
@revolvingworld2676 I don't think so he has his shadow eyes and voice differences, but that's it the game doesn't really tell us but he dose have
his persona so most likely not but maybe
If shaggy was in the shadow world and was saved does that mean shaggy got a persona
Ok but I need to know what Shaggys Shadow was and what is his persona. Please!!
This was a very fun video to watch!
YOUR DOG CAN TALK?
Daphne would've been on the midnight channel
Mystery Inc does give them more depth. Like, the cartoon.
Dude I adore this, rock on 🤘
Next stuff for this should be, could samurai jack achieve the neutral ending in smt 4?
I really needed this answered thanks.
Scooby Dooby Persona!
This was ridiculous but in the best way possible. I've always liked Scooby Doo and I'm currently playing Persona 4 Golden. I did watch the anime adaptation first but I'm still really enjoying the game. I just saved Nanako on my game and I'm looking forward to the rest of the game.
Fred: Chariot
Daphne: Empress
Velma: Justice
Shaggy: Emperor
Scooby Doo: Star
Scrappy Doo: Sun
I wonder if they could catch kira?
It depends on if Light uses the Death Note on them. Although it wouldn't work on Scooby.
Now for a Scooby Doo and the Gang steal hearts and defeating the 12 full moon shadows and Nyx too
Hey man I just watched the whole entire video and wanted to tell you the concept of Scooby Doo and Persona 4 of what if both them had a crossover was awesome.
But could the Scooby gang solve the Phantom Thieves case?
They're clearing it.
What personas would each scooby gang member have?
makes me wonder, would the scooby gang find out who started spreading the midnight channel rumours?
If Velma and Naoto had a fifteen minute conversation they could have probably ended up pulling off Izanami’s mask at the gas station.
You know what, i am dying to see what kind of personas the scooby gang would have.
I thin this was all things considered this video was good though, it just favored the Gang a bit too much and played Adachi as stupider then he was.
this is my new favorite genre of fanfiction
This is what I look for when I open up TH-cam, fuck yeah man
This makes me wonder if the Scooby gang could solve the Woodsboro murders from the first Scream movie.
ok but shadow shaggy would go hard
I think Fred was so sure it was Nametame because it is never the most obvious suspect. Adachi being that suspect.
Extremely unfortunate that because the scooby gang did this, everyone will now become a shadow thanks to Ameno No Sagari and Izanami 😔
(The P4 gang has no reason to go into the TV World anymore, and Teddie is left alone. The P4 gang also does not befriend Kanji, Rise, or Naoto, and is also severely underpowered. RIP humanity).
I mean
Not really
The bad endings only happen if the culprit isn't found or Yu teams with Adachi,
The neutral ending is if you don't persue Izanagi. Adachi was a super important part of the plan.
@@woobgamer5210
Not true, as the fog will eventually spread again unless the true ending is done.
This video made me remember just how easy Adachi made things for himself, but the reason it took so long for him to be caught is less because of lack of intelligence, but moreso because of luck on Adachi's side & getting Naoto as late as they did
But with the Scooby Gang here, that's not an issue
Honestly how would Shaggy's Shadow even manifest.?
Funny. I used to think about a Scooby-Doo/Persona 4 crossover, too. 😄😄😄😄
Would Shaggy even have a shadow? I feel like he don't have enough to hide to have one
“Um ackshually, their called the Mystery gang🤓👆”
this is surprisingly good crossover fanfiction
As goofy as the scooby doo gang is they aren’t idiots. Pretty competent detectives might I add.
Asking the REAL questions
If they are there to investigate a murder, they are not tourists, they are working.
Therefore they would need a working visa and not a tourist visa, so the 90 days limit doesn't apply to them.
They are on vacation but got swept up into this. So they are tourists in this scenario. They also aren’t working with the Japanese police on this, nor would the police except help from foreign teenagers on a local investigation. They had enough issues with just Naoto. I don’t see them being approved for a work visa.
As long as the investigation team does the fighting and protects them absolutely!
