9:34 some years late to the party, but I just wanted to note how eager Todd is to see the play that Neil performed in. He was in frount, ahead of everyone, and didn't care or notice Chris at all untill a full second after everyone else had stopped. (and even then it seemed like he didn't care that much, more confused)(and the only thing he wanted to do was go to the play) and I think that's a pretty neat detail considering Todd was the first person Neil told about his audition for the play.

I'm like 97% sure there is only one non-white person in this movie, there's an extra who's a black man working in the kitchens when Knox comes back after the Chris poem scene. It's a conservative school in Vermont (one of the whitest states) in the 1950's so you're right, it does make sense. Not saying it's a good sense, but a correct sense. Adding on; Grease, shocking to me, has more black extras than I thought. Thank you for coming to my fact of the day.
