  • In this video we replace the ball joints on the front and weld the front cups in. We finally finish all the heavy fabrication to make this truck do its thing. This is the final assembly on the suspension before we tear into the bed.
    Be sure and stay tuned and subscribe as we plan to build this truck over a series of episodes. We call this project "Project Fun Bags".

    I use a torch to cut the heads of those rivets off and let it cool and the pins come out with air hammer. Sometimes have to heat the a-arm a little

      Bigbear 918 we left the front fenders alone. He ended up putting 24s on it and talked about raising the inner fenders but it hasn’t been done yet.

    Did y’all do front tubs or modify the front fenders at all to get it to tuck that much?

    • @garagejunkie6742
      @garagejunkie6742  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We did not. The customer didn't want to do tubs. It has 24" wheels on it now, and sits roughly the same.

    What would you charge to bag my truck? It’s an 04 extended cab silverado. Been wanting it done forever just don’t have the time to do it myself. Anywho, love the channel. You guys are dumbasses and I love it. 🤙🏻 keep um coming for sure.

    • @garagejunkie6742
      @garagejunkie6742  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Cameron Cloward it really depends on what your goals and budget are. Anywhere from $2500+. This isn’t your simple bag setup and wasn’t cheap. Glad you like our channel, thanks for the comments!

    • @sloppycscustoms2725
      @sloppycscustoms2725 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I’d probably want a 4 link. Lowest budget. Lol I’m basically looking for the better ride with bags. Doesn’t need to lay out but that’s always pretty sweet. My truck has a 4/8 drop on it now (haven’t put the 2” lowering springs in yet, be a 6/8 when I do) so really just want to keep that hight being the lowest driving hight but with the better ride bags give you. Also I have 22s on it with a 265- 35 tire and I’ll be keeping them so i don’t think I’d have to tub it out or anything. Anyway I am serious about getting it done so you wouldn’t be waiting your time punching numbers. Thank for the reply man. 🤙🏻
