How an engine works | Talking Cars - Science Corner | Simple Explanation.

- In this week's Science Corner, we got our hands on a cutaway model of a 1ND engine from the Corolla Altis diesel and explain to you the various components that make an engine work. For ease of understanding, we have avoided a lot of ancillaries like Turbocharger and fuelling system, which will be covered in a later episode.

What we hear as an engine note is just it's exhaust stroke? Between every "thump" we hear, a cylinder undergoes 4 strokes?
VVT is used to increase the volumetric efficiency of an engine...
By controlling the time of valve opening and closing....
It is done by a motor or a pump which is fitted on the intake camshaft.....also it increase power and mid torque.
