This is an exceptionally good video in terms of filming, presentation, audio quality, everything. I love how well and thoroughly you documented your research and exploration trying to figure out how to align the pins!
hey y’all, i just took a closer look on the picture side of the maker, there’s a small tick showing where the top of the design needs to point!! and then you put the backing straight. (this video helped a ton before i realized though!!!)
I bought the same machine also on prime day... lol! I came to see if you had tips for lining up the pin backing as I have been experimenting and going through the same trials you showed in the video. Just tested your theory on the 45 degree angle and that worked great! Thank you! That circle cutter is crap! Get yourself a 1.75 inch circle punch. That will give you the extra 1/2 inch bleed for it to fold under in the machine to make the 1.25 inch button.
thank you for the comment! i’ll definitely look into buying a better circle punch!! i knew the one that the button machine came with wasn’t the best 🤣 glad to hear that i was able to help with the pin backing!!! annoying that it doesn’t line up properly in the first place but oh well !
a lil tip: if you’re having trouble with the cutting thingy use a pencil and the circle and draw a circle then just cut it out with scissors as careful as possible
I just bought this machine because I wanted some buttons for my niece and they are so expensive! I would rather just have the machine on hand. 😅 I have to say this was a very well put together review and also entertaining. 😂
I’ve been watching tutorials all day. I have the 3 size button maker that slides to put the pin together than twisting like yours. It’s super similar but mine keeps jamming or the plastic film does not stick to the button.
I appreciate you sacrificing your buttons so we don't have to on the learning curve. I am wondering if that wonky part that slid on the backing is true North?
ur actually so funny the best part was "u need to wait for the click" *BIG CLICK* "..........that was the click" came for the review stayed for ur commentary
For the design on the pin can you use whichever paper type without it maybe making it look weird? like newspaper, books that you learn from or books that you read?
I have the one that gauges go left and right, not front and back like yours. The key to a straight pin on my machine is put the picture at 15° degrees to the right.
I almost feel bad watching this totoral today due to your hands being so messed up from the hard work you clearly are doing. Thank you for your video, I just got mine today and couldn't figure it out till I saw your video.
i have an same one but like the white pin doesnt connect? i made only one pin and i just got it yesterday for an early birthday present and now im sad :(
I used thick paper and my button would not lift out of the base. Do you think it’s a defect, I tried several times. It wraps around the button but don’t lift up so I can put the back on???
i’m not sure! i think it’s a bit heavier than normal paper, it’s a USPS stamp “magazine” so it’s a glossy paper that’s not super thick. hope that helps
I know this isn't related to the actual content of the video..but I have to ask.. do you realize that in your description, it says you prefer people didn't subscribe .. or is that a joke? Lol
sorry if you’re getting ads, i didn’t put them there and i’m not getting any money for this video
yes i got 2 ads 😂
Since they are forcing add you might wan a look I to getting paid for it. Don't let them take advantage of you.
I’m wondering where to find the circle cutter?
@@TheCraftyHalothis is late so i hope it’s still relevant but w mine it came w the maker

I love your passion in this video, that’s when you know you enjoy what you do💖💖 lots of love your way!🫶🏼
oh thank you for your comment!! it’s very sweet!!!!

It might help to wrap the handle in a soft cloth to pad it out. Also thank you so much this review is super useful.
yeah i may try that!!!

Just bought one and I thoroughly enjoyed this video 👏🏽 especially the don’t subscribe part 😂❤️ thank you this was very helpful
Hahaha thank you! 😂
Your enunciation and confidence is awesome! I think you’ll go very far on TH-cam, I think a little editing would take you far.
I love videos that show the oops moments. Thank you for sharing

best review ever tbh tysm
Im having no problem when it comea to the paper but oncd i stamp the plastic theres always a piece not crimping
Do I just use normal paper to print my art on and use for the pins or do I need to use thicker paper to make these pins?
I wouldn’t recommend thick paper for these plastic machines. If you had a metal pin button maker, it would be better!
This video made me laugh lol 😂😂 you’re so funny. Thank you for your video ❤

Hi rhanks for video. I purchased one and is waiting for arrival. Can i make smaller buttons with this machine as is

This video was a rollercoaster ride. Would she, could she do it?!
Thank you for not giving up. Submit this video to festivals or carnivals. 🎬
This is the most hight quality video I’ve seen!

It made me laugh when were like “wahhhht” 🤣
Have you tried putting both ends in the machine in the beginning ?
I saw a video where they used a small piece of double sided tape to make sure the paper doesn’t move (the paper that goes before the plastic).
Great review! How has it held up so far? I'm planning on making a lot so durability is very important to me
i’ve made a second video showing off the button maker 6 months later!
This is a great tutorial. Thank you for the help 😊
I gues mu question is if i want to make different sizes of pin big or small can i use the same machine.
I’m not quite sure. Some machines may be able to. I’ll check mine in a few weeks, I’m out on travel
Buy EK circle puncher or buy something that will make it easier and safe for you.
have u tried printing pics to make a button? if so how do u get it to be the right size
With a circle cutter :)
yes im also wondering the same thing
@@billytalentxpokemon no they meant before printing the picture yk
how big is the pin? 32cm??
Holy crap. Are you telling me the machine holes are already lined up?? 😱
Can you use material instead of paper???
i think so! i’ve used thicker paper, thin paper, so i think it can probably use other materials
I used thick paper and my button would not lift out of the base. Do you think it’s a defect, I tried several times. It wraps around the button but don’t lift up so I can put the back on???
omg i know im late but do u have a link for the machine?
Is it possible to make small pins in The big pin maker machine?
No
Fantastic I 💕it
thank u so much for this it helped a lot hopefully i get one soon
Can you recommend somewhere I can purchase multiple different sized molds?
I got my machine with 25, 32 and 58mm gauges included for around 100€ on amazon a few days ago,and purchased the 44 sepately
is it possible to make key chains?
this is just for buttons, but you could probably use it to make keychains? you’re better off buying a keychain maker though
Mine has keychain parts and magnets too. I got it at American Button Machines.
How do I buy for only button parts from any store?
Blank button pins
what is the weight of the paper used?
i’m not sure! i think it’s a bit heavier than normal paper, it’s a USPS stamp “magazine” so it’s a glossy paper that’s not super thick. hope that helps
Damn this is engaging
great work i just order me a kit thanks
girl, no prints? I was eating popcorn while making it and now I have permanent thumbprints on the pins lmfao
LOL WELL 😭 i mean… minus if you’re eating popcorn 😭
I know this isn't related to the actual content of the video..but I have to ask.. do you realize that in your description, it says you prefer people didn't subscribe .. or is that a joke? Lol
Bahaha yeah i put that 😆 i like to post on TH-cam but dislike when people sub to me
Apakah bisa bolak balik?
It's not hard to use you just have to get stronger 💪💪💪
its plastic? looks kinda cheap.
I subscribed there is nothing you can do about it
100$ 80$?? The only one shop in Ukraine that ships this maker from Germany sells it for 175$
This machine sucks nothing is working and 2 springs fell out of the machine
oh that’s not good. if i were you id request a refund from wherever you purchased :(
