Powder coating everything like that is such a good option for longevity, this is going to be one of the best looking and functioning LJs out there. I look forward to the next video!

Got a glass LJ hood you could get in fiber too. It finally shipped but it was covered in black sealer. Wiped the sealer off and surprise, it was a carbon fiber hood with a blemmish!

When I do, it'll probably get linked, and now i'm really wondering about that back-half kit... Nice work! That hood is also beautiful!

Such a sweet build. I know it’s getting expensive but it’s definitely worth every penny. It’d cost a fortune more if you two weren’t doing all the fab work. I am getting excited to see it come together. I have the non high line version of your hood from AEV (yeah one of the originals) and love it. I just painted my LS TJ black with a silver pearl in it (GM color) with Carlos from Final Finish in Reno, NV and he killed it, looks so good!

Yep welding shields and smoke suckers are must , we did heavy welding mining industry running 1/16 mig wire catch flash from Buddy welding smoke those eyeballs , some people wind up throat cancer welding . Use safety equipment .

Super nice Hi-line hood! Varozza;s hoods in both the carbon fiber and fiberglass are sweet. Too steep a price for me though - I couldn't spring for $1300 for a fiberglass hi-line hood from them for my LJ build. I just ended up cutting my stock one to make it fit the hi-line fenders and put edge trim over the cut to make it look clean

Hi 👋 👋 👋 👋 👋 Chris and Beck hay get your self some AloeVera gel and put it on your burn skin it will help it heal up quickly and it takes the burn pain away as well. I use to get dun burn when summer time came around. I quit going around without a shirt 👕 any more but my face still gets a little burn but just put the AloeVera on and it takes the burn out and turns into nice tan skin with out peeling but you have get that stuff on right away for it to work.
Frame is lookin great. Decided I’m fabricating my whole frame for my LJ rather than modifying a factory frame.

Why do the upper control arm upper mounts have the bolt vertical. Never liked this when the tj had the track bar end link like that. To me it’s a limitation
I see it, But its well within our travel range, so its not a limitation. I believe it will have something to do with the overall stength of that mount, and how its gusseted to the frame from there. just a guess tho.
Could you have repurposed those frame cut outs by inverting them rather than using the other pieces to fill in the hole?
Tried, they convex the wrong way once flipped, just didnt quit work out.
