Oscillating spindle sanders are a luxury if you don't make mani inside curves, I bought mine too encourage my son to make electric guitars, and it gets quite a bit of use, but having a uk workshop I understand that constant pressure on space!
Yeah space is a premium for sure and I reckon I’ve got a pretty big workshop compared to most. I imagine it’s perfect for guitars and stuff but for me it just wasn’t necessary. It’s funny how hard it is to let go of a tool you already own when i wouldn’t have even bothered buying it if i had the choice now.
Hi Ben, like your self I clamp down my sander never had a spindle sander, it does the same job as a spindle sander. Great video take care

All sound reasons to get rid. Inside curves can be made with an attachment to a drill.
My thoughts exactly mate. Those types of projects so few and far between for me that I just couldn’t justify keeping it.
