+Michal Shukrun (MickyLuck) I sort of liked him better in the first game; I have a soft spot for auburn / red hair. It was also much curlier. His looks were never a huge draw for me. I'm not terribly fond of blondes. Quite honestly, I was tempted to romance Solas for the intellectual chemistry or Bull for the thrill, but his manner - biting dry witt especially when dealing with the chancellor - is what got me. I'm a sucker for a modest, kind, sincere soul. He is an empty castle, who desperately needed something to fill it - something to protect and stay strong for on top of it all. With maybe Dorian and Thom being close seconds, I don't think anyone would appreciate their lover more than Cullen. You know you'd never be taken for granted.

He's so precious.Here's to hoping that Bioware gives us more of a happy ending in a DLC format. I'm still tending my wounds of not knowing if my FemShepard and Garrus were ever reunited post Mass Effect 3.

the rumours are true though in fact Gaspard thought he was lying when he started the rumour he laughed when he found it it was true, and I think Leliana was aware of the truth.
Oh yes, I'm aware of that. I just find it hilarious and strangely alluring at how much of a predator Leliana sounded when she was commenting on that.

I used to save Celena because my morality level is stupidly high and pathetic…then I read what she did to Briala's alienage...
...because Gaspard pushed her into it. Not to say that this justifies Celene’s actions in ANY way, but while Celene would commit genocide and be sorry about it, Gaspard would do it with glee and without a shred of remorse. Making him Briala’s “pawn”? Good luck getting that dynamic to stick, Briala is a spymaster, and spymasters make the worst leaders / politicians. (Ask anyone who knew J. Edgar Hoover.)
All this to say... yeah Celene kinda sucks, but she is by FAR the least problematic of the available choices.

I would assume depending on who you pick to rule orlais a different character would be the traitor. Cause it would suck to try the most peaceful option to find out you'll get stabbed in the nose
I am starting to see how this game can have like 30 variants in the ending, just with the option of who to help i can see 3 or 6 things that can affect the ending

I didn't expect ALL orlesian nobles to have wyvern skins i thought most of them where just passive guests or died during the hunt
I guess wyvern skin is that cheap in Orlais
And speaking of wyverns i had expected to see some nobles tripping balls in the party (sigh)
Eh, if ANY Orlesian noble at this ball would be wearing a wyvern skin, it would be Gaspard. He was first in line to the throne before Celene grabbed it from him, so even if wyvern skin cost a fortune he could probably afford it, and of course he definitely has the fighting prowess to have hunted it himself.

Sekulture There's actually a mission that deals with that if you side with him. Peace talks, more or less, by request of whoever you put on Fereldan's throne. It was one of the longer ones, but Alistair sent a very nice unique sword that evidently belonged to Calenhad.
Gaspard is charming and charismatic and perfectly true to his word... in the way many power-hungry warmongering military dictators / mob bosses are.

Only if you've confirmed the romance before the mission and you bring them with you, I believe.
You also have to have asked for a dance sometime during the ball itself.
Aww man i wanted this scene to happen but i chose the queen and ended up with Josephine asking me to dance. I turned her down. But next play through ill choose Gaspard.
The dance has nothing to do with who you choose as Orlais's ruler. It's a romance option.
How do you get him to ask you?
xxxAirmidxxx Sounds like you were already far enough in to a relationship with Josephine. You can't be involved with anyone else, and for mine, I'd already completed his personal missions and had the follow up scenes.
No I never romanced her tho. I pressed all the heart options and in the end did get Cullen. I just didn't get the dance scene.
You need to have kissed Cullen, confirming the romance.
Bioware did a shit job with this scene man. Holy crap. All of the people aren't even reacting to anything that is going on. When the inquisitor draws her sword and tells the duchess to stand down none of them reacted. When the guards were being slain all throughout the dance floor the people just stood there like nothing was happening. My favorite part was the two guards at the end there when the inquisitor chases the duchess off the balcony. They're standing still as statues. Terrible job, Bioware.

I will hand you the guards though. It's a retarded graphical glitch. They should have been removed from the scene.
Savber100 Watch the video. Yes you can hear all the noise that is going on and yes people are screaming but I'm talking about what you see. You can clearly see nobody is reacting at all.
