Just so you know alphas new video the end of Pokémon violet is a super cut of the entire series which at a time stamp about 1:30:00 in is the new part which continues the story.there is about an hour of new content in it.
This is just a very small side thing you can do in SwSh’s DLC where you go through a little Dynamax gauntlet with rental Pokémon and at the end there’s a legendary. You can get 4 Pokémon each run, three from the branching paths and the one legendary at the end, but you can only take one home with you. The Pokémon won’t show up as Shiny until the selection screen and you can’t catch multiple of the same legendary, so people tend to pass the legendary for one of the common Pokémon to redo the legendary run and try for a shiny. Mewthree doesn’t exist but Mewtwo did have two Mega Evolutions back in generation 6 and 7. Mega Mewtwo Y was the initial design with the head coming out of its tail and more defined parts like fingers and a neural link on its head but people really hated it for some reason so they made a second one and called it Mega Mewtwo X who is basically just Mewtwo but muscles. Same happened for Charizard, people were disappointed with the initial design for some reason so they designed a super edgy black cool one in the form of Mega Charizard X. Ever since Gen 6 every game had a sort of gimmick. Gen 6 was Megas, Gen 7 was Z-Moves but old Megas were still present, Gen 8 has Dynamax/Gigantamax but removed the previous two, and Gen 9 has Terastalization type swapping. People tend to dislike Dynamax, I like it because it’s by far the healthiest gimmick for competitive besides no gimmick and a lot of the Gigantamax Pokémon look cool but that’s just me, I know people really miss Megas but we’re never getting new ones and getting the initial 30ish back is super unlikely.
As somebody who doesn't care about competitive, I hated Dynamaxing. First, it exacerbated the "too easy" problem that Pokemon has by making it even easier to just sweep all the gym battles with a single Pokemon. Second, I despised how gated all the gigantamax forms were. You could only get them from high level raid battles, making them post-game exclusive. I had a Colossal on my team and was so disappointed when I found out that I'd never be able to gigantamax him. The DLC sort of fixed this, but that's not acceptable. Designing the game poorly and then locking the solution behind a paywall is just scummy. I felt like the game would have just been straight up improved if Dynamaxing was removed.
@@theduckgoesmoo It’s *an* option and the only option for legendaries however many would probably prefer the Chain Hunting method where you repeatedly KO the same wild Pokémon over and over to get a slow Shiny bonus or via breeding. Dynamax Raid Adventures take a bit of time and the Pokémon inside besides the legendary are randomized each run so if you want Any shiny, sure, but if you want a specific one, tough luck.
@@Celestia282 Yea you only could access the GMaxes at I think gyms 7-8 which is super late and sucks. I spent a while hunting for Hatterene, I know the pain of trying to get it even in postgame. Dynamaxing does make the gym Battles easier as well no doubt but I don’t personally think the entire game as a whole would have been better without it. Firstly for lore purposes but also as someone who does care for competitive, building a team based around the Max Move buffs was super interesting to me and added a strong amount of extra depth. SwSh objectively, not awesome games. Story is kinda underwhelming but me personally, I love ALL of the new Pokémon they added barring some of the DLC legendaries like Urshifu and I genuinely had a good time sinking hours into the game with a power complex. Blasting through places with an overlevelled Arctozolt genuinely made me feel happy in a more depressing time for myself so I’m biased. Totally get your thoughts though, 100% agree with your points for the most part.

Every Pokémon they be in a Dynamax adventure can be caught unless it is a legendary that was already claimed in a previous adventure, after four raids or losing all 4 lives (4 KOs of the raid groups Pokémon) per adventure, they get brought to a Pokémon selection screen where they can choose to take one of the Pokémon they caught out and these Pokémon have a higher than normal chance to be shiny including legendaries. Furthermore they’re not restricted by what other people choose to take from the raid if one person picks Blaziken they could all pick Blaziken and each get a Blaziken, The Pokémon will have the same moves and ability as it’s found in the raid den, and non-legendary Pokémon can be chosen as many times as you want.
Gen 8 Sword and Shield pokemon game, its an okay game. Dynamaxing (turning big for 3 turns while doubling your Hp stat) This is Dynamax adventures where you battle your way to a legendary and try to catch it, or shiny hunt it also play Zelda, you're missing out
Fun Fact: there was actually a rally to boycott these games after it was revealed GameFreak lied to their consumers, it didn’t work. Even with the National Dex controversy they became the top Pokémon games on Switch. There was another one for Scarlet and Violet as well after the huge amount of glitches. It didn’t work either and it sold 10 million in 3 days.

Yeah he missed out with SW & SH u can have godzilla fights with ur pokemon and welll do crazy stuff in the dlc where u can get legendary pokemon with ppl most of the newer stuff can get really broken like the box legendarys haveing a really good move pool and the dlc legendarys being good to but this game is mostly controversial cuz it does have a national dex so not all the pokemon made the cut in beeing in that game so they did kinda play favorites for a few pokemon beeing in on those 2 games
You should react to the Resident Evil "Shot Abridged" series. It covers the first 3 games and funny enough, it's called Shot Abridged because it's a pun off of "One Shot" or just doing something once, With RE1 being One Episode, RE2 being Two Shot Abridged with Two Episodes, and RE3 being Three Shot Abridged with 3 episodes. Fun Fact: there was actually a rally to boycott these games after it was revealed GameFreak lied to their consumers, it didn’t work. Even with the National Dex controversy they became the top Pokémon games on Switch. There was another one for Scarlet and Violet as well after the huge amount of glitches. It didn’t work either and it sold 10 million in 3 days.

Yeah he missed out with SW & SH u can have godzilla fights with ur pokemon and welll do crazy stuff in the dlc where u can get legendary pokemon with ppl most of the newer stuff can get really broken like the box legendarys haveing a really good move pool and the dlc legendarys being good to but this game is mostly controversial cuz it does have a national dex so not all the pokemon made the cut in beeing in that game so they did kinda play favorites for a few pokemon beeing in on those 2 games

You should react to the Resident Evil "Shot Abridged" series. It covers the first 3 games and funny enough, it's called Shot Abridged because it's a pun off of "One Shot" or just doing something once, With RE1 being One Episode, RE2 being Two Shot Abridged with Two Episodes, and RE3 being Three Shot Abridged with 3 episodes. Just a suggestion

I can tell by the comment section that the bratty Sword and Shield haters are still alive and well... *sighs* so what you saw is just a part of Sword and Shield's DLC and Sword and Shield is actually a very good game, in spite of what some annoying people may say, they're mostly just mad about some Pokemon not being in the game and egregiously think they were "lied to about animations" because they get hung up on stupid things random trees even though the game itself looks fine and actually has pretty good animations

Half of my knowledge I get off message boards, Bulbapedia, and the like, and half of my knowledge I intuitively know from playing ALL of the (mainline) Pokemon games. (Well... one out of the pairs/trios, at least. Pokemon Shield, Sun, Violet, Platinum, etc, not ALL THREE in a trio)

if you have no plans on playing it, his ultrakill summary would be a good idea instead, especially because ultrakill isnt *really* a story filled game and is more about gameplay itself, so while the story it paints is GOOD, its hard to feel spoiled by it
