It's made clear later that Geeta is actually pissed at Penny, and that Penny's "volunteer" work isn't very pleasant. Which I guess is the best they could do since Penny is a minor. Can't send her to prison.
Professor Sada/Turo died in the incident that left the 4th research lab in disrepair- the one shown at 28:37. Presumably, the player’s Koraidon/Miraidon fought the other one in that lab for territory, and when the other one went on a rampage, the professor jumped in front of ours to protect it, ultimately getting maimed in the process and dying shortly after. Their death is a reminder of why the games always stress not traveling or going into tall grass without a partner Pokémon, why you always have to have at least one Pokémon on your team at all times, cuz if the little ones can do bodily harm, legendaries could probably maul people, something the professor was too careless about…
It's really common actually. It's how companies improve their cyber security. It's like if you invent a new lock, the first thing you'd wanna do is find someone who's good at picking locks and tell them to try.
I’m glad you watched the ending! This was such a good conclusion to one of the best Pokémon games in relation to story. Also, Flower Trick is a signature move that Meowscarda learns. It always crits. Yeah, Geeta's team would be MASSIVELY improved with just two changes: start with Glimmora and end with Kingambit. Maybe throw in some Pokemon with moves like Hex and Venoshock for good measure.
Actually the PC has been remotely accessible since Lets Go Pikachu/Eevee. However, unlike SwSh onward, you couldn't access it in the Elite 4 Which makes me ask. Why did they change it?
Yeah finding out the professor that was helping you was an AI the whole time, and finding out the original died was one of the biggest plot twists in the Pokémon franchise
Misunderstanding the story because you are streaming is understandable. It happens. Heck, skip the story and button mash. It's a game after all. You don't need a story to have fun. Pretending that he knew the story when he actively admitted to not wanting to read, however, that's not a "mistake". I don't know what that is, but it can't be handwaved away as a "mistake". It takes a special kind of person to so vehemently push to not learn about something only to then turn around and pretend like they know that thing so well, especially if they are using their fake knowledge to bash on the thing they refused to learn about.
I was thinking about you watching this when I rewatched this the other day. This is the best story in a Pokémon game in my opinion and so much of it is carried by that final battle
I want to be completely respectful of people’s opinions and thoughts. That said, I don’t agree with Jacob’s outrage with the team star story, I don’t know if he’s doing a bit or if he genuinely believes team star was made up of a bunch of criminal acting kids who happen to be rich and got off easy because they were all rich. Team Star was not made up of an entire rich clique, only one leader came from money and they didn’t use it in their plans, The other leaders vetoed it in favor of doing things themselves. The people who they cornered and were chased out were actual bullies who were mistreating students including those who joined team star, The school did nothing about reported bullying leaving the kids, the students, to deal with it on their own. After the confrontation between team star and their bullies, the bullies dropped out, their parents got upset and raised a stink, there was a huge cover-up of the behind the scenes bullying and the entire staff ended up needing to be replaced meaning all of the teachers at the Academy i’ve only been there for about a year and a half. This is actually a very big piece of world building lore centered around the school and the Paldea region, but because the bullied students were a part of a group which started with the word “Team” it was easier to just say they are the delinquents. Penny who was the big boss in the shadows turned herself in hoping the group would disband and they could have normal school lives. But they refused to back down, because in their minds if they disbanded teen star after the school forced their hands to deal with the bullying situation it would’ve seemed like they “Team Star” were in the wrong standing up for themselves. If/when you have the time maybe look at/react to a video explaining team stars motivation, then judge for yourself.
Also Penny is a KID, and she DID work to pay off the debt caused by stealing league points. She wouldn't be put in jail anyway, cause CHILD. Handling her situation the way it was is actually the BEST decision the adults could have made, cause now she can use her talents for good instead of, well not evil, we'll say, moral dubiousness.
The craziest and worst thing about Geeta's ace Pokémon, her final fighter, Glimmora, is that it is BUILT to be sent out FIRST. It is a TRAP-SETTER, its signature Ability automatically sets up Toxic Spikes when it gets hit, its signature Move inflicts Poison on the opponent. And yet it's used to be the final Pokémon in her battle. Just, why.
I did nuzlocke for the game on launch. It was a blast. Especially not knowing that each path(of course i know pokemon league, but that was my last path) wraps up with a hard challenge(Arvan's mons were significantly higher level than mine). The final fight wasnt too hard, but a good challenge. Also about master balls. They are balls that are for the very wealthy and/or influential people. Only way we get them is usualy by a very influential individual(or their location), or by lottery. So even if we never win the lottery, they have masterballs ready for when people do. Not weird for a pokemon professor to have some masterballs in hand. I wanna believe that the professor had a lot of funding for his time machine project, some of which he used for master balls to auto catch future mons. Would make sense for the masterball developers to supply for research(and with the funds to back it up).

I thought it was because of how Larry was a Normal type gym leader which are only super effective against fighting type so what is super effective against a fighting type that isn’t psychic type, since that type is already a gym, is flying type. Instinctively, players who try to switch after encountering him once will try to make a fighting type team only to be their downfall

IMO, Glimmora's not really that bad I used Glimmora as a closer and it worked well enough, I think the issue is more about it being better as an opener because of its ability, but I think when separating story from gameplay, it works as her partner on simply being a Pokemon that she really likes or thinks suits her, and even bringing Gameplay back in, I forgive it as she's not even really the final boss, Nemona is the actual final battle of the Victory Road and even then the AI professor and PPP serve as the actual Final boss of the main story as a whole, which they do very well.
