If christ be lifted up he will draw all. Simple he is not the savior of whole world if he doesn't. That makes him a liar. So simple. Its a time issue. Not all are saved at the same time. Christ first born then gods chosen before the disruption of the world too reconcile all back too God through christ then God is all and all. Most will go too second death gods will is to save all and bring all too the knowledge of the truth. After judgement and before. Lol

    Dear brother,
thanks for this clarification. I think explaining the words makes the case for universalism even clearer. Not saying all will be saved (from God's wrath) but rather be reconciled answers a lot of questions that opponents have. Not all are saved, but all will finally come to God. I usually say, God saves some by faith and others (he reconciles) through judgment. That emphasizes the reason for judgment and its goal. It is not just a sadistic practice of a wrathful god. No one is resurrected just to die again.
For me some of the most intriguing questions that had to be answered before embracing universal reconciliation were
    1. What are we "saved" from?
    2. What is the second death?
The first one you explained in this video. For the second one, I believe it means dying for sin as also Romans 6 describes. This is the only reason, why the holy ones cannot be affected by 2nd death (they already went through it). And it is a good explaination why death and Hades are put into the lake of fire. The sting of death is sin. Therefore death loses its power (its sting) when being thrown into the lake of fire. It symbolically "dies" to sin.
How wonderful God reconciles all his family with himself and how unsearchable his ways are.
Knowing this, it is impossible for me not to embrace the idea that God will reconcile everything/everyone with himself through /in Christ.
    Your brother in faith

You are a soul. You don't have a soul 2 lose. Besides, none of us own anything. It all belongs to God, so you couldn't even sell your soul if wanted to. Nothing belongs to you or anyone. ALL IS GODS ALL IS GOD. HE IS AND ALWAYS HAS BEEN IN FULL CONTROL. You have nothing to worry about. If God b 4 u, WHO could be against u?? According to scripture, God is for all his creatures, including u. God is a happy God at peace with humanity. According 2 scriptures, All died in Christ, and all are made alive in Christ. What part does anyone have in that other than being part of all placed in Christ by God placing all in Christ is God, not man placing himself. Christ died for sinners, aka unbelievers, not believers. Think about it?? Scripture never ever mentioned Christ died 4 any believers.. only unbelievers are ever mentioned, which is awesome because none where loving God!! No, not 1. All were locked in stubbornness, aka unbelief, until God has mercy on them. Scripture claims God is the savior of sinners. That's all anyone needs to qualify 4 being saved but either way Christ was sent to save sinners. If he dosnt conquer sin and death, aka save all sinners and completely destroy death and all its power to keep creatures dead he is a failure. The savior must save or else not the savior. Thank God this is good and worthy of all welcome that 4 this we labor we rely on the living God who 'IS' the savior of 'ALL'""""" mankind. He can't be the savior of all man if he doesn't save all man. Hope you can consider thease words. This is exactly Scripture. Don't worry though if you don't believe it now because all will each when God gives them faith through hearing. God placed all under Christ. CHRIST claims he will not lose any. We are all part of the any. If God opens a bank account in your name and place a million dollars and u don't know, u are still a millionaire. We'll thats exactly what God did but the million is Christ and Christ already died so just because you don't know God yet doesn't mean anything. God is the savior not u or i. Thanks b to God because none could ever save themselves because we aren't the power of God. The cross is. According to sound scripture no one absolutely no 1 has anything but life coming to them. Dont take my word 4 it through test it to scripture and b ready 2 b completely blown away and know true peace and thankfulness 4 the rest of your existence. I really hope you do test. You really have some good news in store. All creation does. God already saved the worst of all sinners according 2 scripture what would make anyone think he wouldn't save them. We are not the savior. We can not save ourselves according to scripture. If people believe they can or have to do anything to be saved they just haven't been given faith yet. Scriptures claim God is partimg 2 each measure of faith. We can trust God. Context is the biggest block for most but it's nothing God can't or won't teach them in HIS time. God wills all 2 b saved and come to the truth. bless you. Remember God "IS""" 4 U!!! HE makes all alive weather they want it or believe it now doesn't change the fact God Is the savior of all!!!!!!! God is not a failure he is not a liar. He says what he means and he will earn all creatures trust in him. He will be ALL in ALL. grace and peace to you and all who read this prattle

I still believe in universal salvation. With the number of descendants of praying Christians that have died without following Christ, it's evident to me that some people need more time than their lifetimes to make a decision to follow Christ. 1 Timothy 4:10 reads, "That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe." The wicked unsaved will still be punished, and so will the disobedient saved (in a lesser way of course). The ultimate reconciliation comes that the lake of fire can be described as a 'cure' and that eventually all the wicked unsaved will be repentant and bow the knee to Jesus. The disobedient saved will have something else.
There's also how they will have lesser glories, the wicked unsaved paled by the obedient saved and disobedient saved. Search up Messianic Evangelicals' website, nccg.org for more. Don't just take our words for it, look at the Scriptures! Be blessed!

@@lifeoffaithlebanon You have to understand brother that to sin is to "miss the mark" , to make a mistake , an error, do something that is not right(eousness) but wrong. Now God does not sin so therefore he has never made a mistake, so Satan, nor anyone or anything is a mistake that the Sovereign Almighty will not conform to his will Ephesians 1:11 . God created the tree of the knowledge of evil and the serpent who deceived Eve put them in the garden and declared his creation very good because he works all things for good (Himself, "there is only one that is good" Mark 10:18 ) to those that love him (which is everyone because we love him because he first loved us and he loves everyone). Where sin is grace superabounds and since we are saved by grace it is impossible for sin to ultimately conquer anything or anyone. "A man can receive NOTHING lest it is given from heaven" John 3:27 irrefutably proves we are saved by grace alone and that faith is a gift given by the one who wills all men to be saved 1Timothy 2:4 . God always does what is right Genesis 18:25 and sometimes he does evil because it is right, like delivering His innocent Son into wicked hands to be slain Acts2:23 or the 30 occurrences of Him doing evil or repenting of the evil He had planned to do that are recorded in Jeremiah for example. God made people to carry out these calamities ; someone had to nail Christ to the cross but their maker cried forgive them for they were unknowingly at the time carrying out God's " deliberate plan and foreknowledge" acts 2:23 Nothing complicated about it at all. Disobedience of God is a sin, a mistake, foolish even most educated would agree, yet our all wise God subjected or jailed or forced all creation against its will to disobey him so that he could have mercy on us all Romans11:32 . No wonder Romans 12:3 records Paul " For I say through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think, but to think soberly, according as God has given to every man the measure of faith "

@@nevbillett7554 I would argue that it is possible that in Romans 8,29 Paul is talking about Jews only who were predestined. They are predestined (as his chosen people) and "called" the same way the Christians ("we") according to verse 28 are called. This calling is even more important because those being called will be justified and glorified.
A similar way of thinking is applied in Ephesians 1, where both verses 5 and 11 speak about a group (referred to as "we" by the writer) that is predestined. Eph. 1,13-15 speaks of the Gentile readers of the letter as "you" (thus making a distinction to the "we"/"us" in the first part of the chapter) and says that they heard the gospel (one could say they were called) and were sealed with the Holy Spirit. But this group of Christians was not predestined. They were called and sealed only.
The predestination of the Jews also becomes clear from Romans 11, where Paul argues that even though they fell, God will finally save them which will mean life for all. This will be the final fulfilment of God's promise to Abraham that "all nations shall be blessed" because of his righteousness. This blessing for all actually is the big mystery he reveals in Romans 11.

@@Thomas_Zscheile Hello Thomas, It is little known among Christians that the modern nation , established in 1948 , usurped the name Israel and did not have the legal right in the court of God to claim that name . Because of Solomon's sin God divided the 12 tribes into 10 called Israel and 2 made up of Judah and Benjamin . Israel was dispersed by Assyria (721 BC) and has never returned (the 10 lost tribes of Israel) , Judah was given into the hands of the Babylonians but returned to fulfill Christ's birth in the tribe of Judah and the house of David in Bethlehem. Judaism is opposed to Christ and a "Jew" is certainly not an Israelite , further Paul enlightens us that genealogical descent has absolutely nothing to do with God's definition of a true Israelite whom He also calls His chosen , elect. Sons of God, overcomers. Of course nothing is lost to God , He knows exactly who and where His true Israelites are and their glorious manifestation will soon take place in the first resurrection. The Discerner’s Tavern:
Belief and Salvation: Where Arminians and Calvinists Get it Wrong
Salvation (that is, “being saved”) via a free will production of faith, cannot be found in scripture. It is entirely absent. Instead, throughout the New Testament, the lost are likened to something which cannot find/save itself but must be found/saved by God, through His Son. (This means that the sinner is not also the savior or even responsible for his salvation)
As examples, we have the parable of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and we have the Good Shepherd Who seeks out the lost sheep and a woman who searches for the lost coin.
    Further, we have:
“No one can come to Me if ever the Father Who sends Me should not be drawing him. And I shall be raising him in the last day.” (John 6:44)
This means no one can come to Christ Jesus, of himself. It requires God to draw the sinner.
“according as it is written, that "Not one is just- not even one." 11 Not one is understanding. Not one is seeking out God.” (Rom. 3:10)
No one is seeking out God. You have to be drawn.
“For God locks up all together in stubbornness, that He should be merciful to all." (Rom. 11:32)
WHO (God) locks (action verb) up all (every, the whole, none excluded) in stubbornness. Where is the free will in that?! Thankfully, the free will is equallyabsent in the latter clause which speaks of the same “all” (every, the whole, none excluded).
Objection: “Yeah, ok, but what about all the verses that say “to those who believe”, “that all who believe”, and all the other verses that tie salvation to belief?”
    The Apostle Paul:
“For in grace, through faith, are you saved, and this is not out of you; it is God's approach present, 9 not of works, lest anyone should be boasting." (Eph. 2:8-9)
Did you offer the belief/faith? Absolutely not. If you did, you could boast (and those who believe in free will based salvation boast knowingly or unknowingly). Faith is the channel through which grace comes. Whomust provide the faith??
    God.
    If He doesn’t give it,
    you don’t have it!!
Now, before you Calvinists get smug; it is time to disabuse you of the myth that only the elect will ultimately be saved.
“Consequently, then, as it was through one offense for all mankind for condemnation, thus also it is through one just award for all mankind for life's justifying." (Rom. 5:18)
Believe it or not, I have yet to see a translation out there which has not gotten the above verse correct. Even the King James Version or The Message has managed to keep the original thought intact. Look it up in whatever translation you prefer and see for yourself.
We have in this verse, a simple equation, delivered in words, rather than numbers. You can’t change the meaning of one clause without changing the meaning of the other.
Adam disobeyed and his disobedience brought “all” (every, the whole, none excluded) under condemnation. You did not have to opt into this by-the-way. I have yet to hear a Christian who will dispute that fact.
Next, we have “thus also” or “even so” (this requires that the second clause to be equal with the first clause). These two words act as a literary equals sign, separating the first clause from the second. In the second clause, we have the obedience of Christ Jesus bringing justification to the same “all” (every, the whole, none excluded).
1st Clause: One act affects all in a negative way.
    Connective: equals sign
2nd Clause: One act affects all in a positive way.
It is important to notice that in this incredible verse many (billions, according to population estimates) were bystanders and one brought billions under condemnation and One is bringing billions (not 10% of the billions as your pastor would have you to believe) under justification.
Objection: “Yeah, well, you have to receive the award/gift of justification!”
    Romans 5:18: “…even so…”
“(for this we are toiling and being reproached), that we rely on the living God, Who is the Saviour of all mankind, especially of believers. These things be charging and teaching.”
Here, we have Paul declaring that God is the Savior of “all” (every, the whole, none excluded) and especially (not, “exclusively”) of believers (those whom God gave belief).
Many Christians say that they believe that God is “Savior” of all, but when you ask, “So, you believe all people will be saved?”, they immediately respond with “Of course not!!”. This is simply evidence of the degradation of language and comprehension. God cannot be the Savior of anyone who He doesn’t save. It’s that simple. If He doesn’t save you; He isn’t your Savior. Unless Paul was as clumsy with language as most people I see on Facebook, Paul intended to convey that God will indeed save all mankind, especially (not, “exclusively”) believers.
“for this is ideal and welcome in the sight of our Savior, God, Who wills that all mankind be saved and come into a realization of the truth. For there is one God, and one Mediator of God and mankind, a Man, Christ Jesus, Who is giving Himself a correspondent Ransom for all (the testimony in its own eras).” (1 Tim. 2:3-6)
Calvinist Objection #1: “Yeah, well, “all mankind” simply means all types of man. Here, Paul is making clear that Gentiles are included in salvation along with Israel.”
Rebuttal: “There are times when a passage of scripture makes distinction between Israel and the nations. However, in those instances, Israel, or a pronoun for Israel is indicated so that the thought is clear, and the Greek word “ethnon” (“Gentiles” or “nations”G1484) is used, rather than “anthropous” (“man”, “men”, “mankind”, “humans” G444) is used.
Calvinist Objection #2: “Yeah, well, the “all” is restricted to only the elect/believers.”
Rebuttal: “See again, 1 Timothy 4:10, which establishes God as the Savior of all; especially believers.”
Arminian Objection: “Yeah, well, God wants or desires for all to be saved and come to knowledge of the truth, but sadly, most won’t because of free will.”
Rebuttal: “Isaiah 46:10 states emphatically that what God declares will come to pass and that He will do all His good pleasure, and clearly, seeing all be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth is something that He takes pleasure in.”
Most Christians will finally pull the pin and throw the grenade of: “Yeah, well, you have to confess Jesus Christ as Lord, before you die!”
Belief in Christ has had a deadline imposed upon it…not by God…or by the scriptures…but by Christians. You will not find any such “deadline” for one acclaiming Christ Jesus as Lord and for being given knowledge of the truth, which leads to a change of mind for the better (aka “repentance”) in which the sinner can, indeed, declare Christ Jesus, Lord.
Now that the “deadline” myth has been dispelled, we can deal with the question of, “Will everyone declare Christ Jesus as Lord?”
“that in the name of Jesus every knee should be bowing, celestial and terrestrial and subterranean, and every tongue should be acclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord, for the glory of God, the Father.” (Phil. 2:10-11)
Everyone will be making this declaration, whether they are in the heavens, earth, or under the ground. I can’t see how that would leave out anyone. That encompasses everywhere I can think of.
Time is not a problem for God. He will see that all are found/saved and He isn’t under a stop watch to see the fulfillment. Belief in the gospel and the acquaintance with salvation comes to everyone eventually, but in “due time”, God’s timing.
Neither of the two great camps of Christianity actually believes that God is the Savior of all. Arminians believe the Creator’s desire to save all is thwarted by the creature’s stubbornness, even though it is the Creator, Who imposed the stubbornness. Calvinists play word games and as scripture ever broadens the number of those who God loves; they narrow it. Arminians believe in a god who is willing, but not able; while Calvinists believe in a god who is able, but not willing.
Both camps have a commonly held belief. They mistake God’s process for His goal. Judgment exists. Correction exists. But, correctly translated scripture demonstrates that judgment is for correction; not merely punitive, with the betterment of His creatures as the goal. God could have wiped out His chosen nation, but didn’t for His namesake. What would it say about Him? God appointed Christ Jesus to be Firstborn of creation and Firstborn from among the dead. The effect of Christ’s obedience is far further reaching in magnitude than Adam’s disobedience.
Belief is not originated in us. Repentance (a change of mind) goes hand-in-hand with being brought to the Truth. God wills that all (not only the elect) come to the knowledge of the Truth and be saved; but in due time.

There’s a saying “A rose by any other name is still a rose” so it is with Universalism whether it’s called Ultimate Reconciliation, Restorative Salvation, etc.
When standing before Judge Jesus at the Great White Throne Judgment, people (Oprah Winfrey, Billy Graham, Robert Schuller for examples) who publicly promoted the erroneous doctrine that eventually all people, Satan, fallen angels and demons will be saved will suffer the greater degree of punishment.

"The Lord added to the church daily those being saved" ; We are saved by grace through faith ( Christ's faith not ours ) AND THIS NOT OF YOURSELF . John 3:27 a man can receive nothing lest it is given him from heaven. Of course you need to believe but faith is given . Also we most definetly are saved by the faith OF Jesus which enabled him to endure the cross. What your talking about, faith in Jesus is all resultant from the grace and faith OF Christ who had the faith to graciously offer his blood which made possible the remission of sins.

AMEN! it was THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST that took HIM to the cross for our reconciliation. HE was the faithful one. Paul even says that …..Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me....if we are crucified means we are dead to the flesh and so how can it be our faith? thank you for your response brother.

I agree that we should get away from the terminology of universal salvation.
Salvation meant different things in scripture.
We must also come to scripture rightly dividing and understanding that Christ fulfilled the Law of Moses, the prophets and Psalms.
We are looking at scripture some 200 years years after the can closed.
We are left with God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself.
Rhe Kingdom goapel is one of peace and grace and walking by the Spirit of God.
There is a judgement when we leave this earthly life, however that
occurred. It is fair and righteous and restorative.

The Below is not official yet, but just work in progress... It needs expansion and further clarifications, and it is not a standard evangelical one. I use Church fathers quotes to prove the apostolic nature of my faith.
The Life of Faith Statement of Faith and position:
This statement of Faith is based on very early Church fathers’ statements based on their understanding of the Christian tradition and faith:
      1. The Scriptures: “We have learned from none others the plan of our salvation, than from those through whom the Gospel has come down to us, which they did at one time proclaim in public, and, at a later period, by the will of God, handed down to us in the Scriptures, to be the ground and pillar of our faith.” (Irenaeus 130-202 AD).
      2. God: We acknowledge a God, and a Son, his Logos, and a Holy Spirit, united in essence-the Father, the Son, the Spirit-because the Son is the Intelligence, Reason, and Wisdom of the Father, and the Spirit an effluence, as light from fire. (Athenagoras 177 AD )
We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, of all that is seen and unseen. We believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father; God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God; begotten not made, one in being with the Father. Through Him all things were made… We believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the Giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son. With the Father and the Son He is worshipped and glorified. He has spoken through the prophets. (Nicene Creed 325 AD)
      3. Incarnation of God the Son: For us men and for our salvation He (God the Son) came down from heaven. By the power of the Holy Spirit He was born of the Virgin Mary and became man. For our sake He was crucified under Pontius Pilate. He suffered, died, and was buried. On the third day He rose again, in fulfillment of the Scriptures. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. (Nicene Creed 325 AD)
      4. Salvation by Faith Expressed in Baptism: “And we who through his will have been called in Christ Jesus are justified, not by ourselves, or through our wisdom or understanding or godliness, or the works that we have done in holiness of heart, but by faith, by which all men from the beginning have been justified by Almighty God, to whom be glory world without end. Amen.” (Clement of Rome 70-110 AD) “For, in the name of God, the Father and Lord of the universe, and of our Saviour Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Spirit, they then receive the washing with water. For Christ also said, "Except ye be born again, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” (Justin Martyr 100 -160 AD) “We acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins.” (Nicene Creed 325 AD)
      5. We believe in one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church: As I have already observed, the Church, having received this preaching and this faith, although scattered throughout the whole world, yet, as if occupying but one house, carefully preserves it. (Irenaeus 130-202 AD).
      6. The Resurrection of the Body: “The resurrection is a resurrection of the flesh which died. For the spirit dies not; the soul is in the body, and without a soul it cannot live. The body, when the soul forsakes it, is not. For the body is the house of the soul; and the soul the house of the spirit.” (Justin Martyr 100-165 AD) “We look for the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come” (Nicene Creed 325 AD). Assuredly, as the reason why restoration takes place at all is the appointed judgment, every man must needs come forth the very same who had once existed, that he may receive at God's hands a judgment, whether of good desert or the opposite. And therefore the body too will appear; (Tertullian 155-220 AD) Amen
      7. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and His kingdom will have no end.

In the words do matter so the word that's translated to saved a lot of times in the Greek also meant healed or made well. At this point it's semantics. You can enjoy the kingdom of God now or you will be faced with it after death and then come to the knowledge of God and then realize how much you wasted with your time here on earth.

What are you talking about? The Bible blatantly and irrefutably says you are saved by faith alone, not of works lest any man should boast. It explicitly says works are not counted towards salvation.

    • @lifeoffaithlebanon
      @lifeoffaithlebanon  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

Putting your trust in Jesus is works? Dear, modern Christians are not able to understand Paul, because they do not understand that Paul, when talking about works, is talking about the works of the Law, not any action of responding to God in general. a hundred times the Bible speaks of us giving an account for the works we do, but when Paul compares Grace with Works, he is referring to the Works of the Law.. The law of Moses...
Also, an act of responding to God's gift is NOT works, and does not contradict the principle of Grace, this is a modern hype resulting from centuries of Calvinistic influence.

Very well Jesus has two paths wide or narrow, but He's regardless the one way!
The law the Spirit of the Law immediately justifies those who liv according to total faith in and faithful living in His wholeness of lov and keeping as many commandments as they possible, those are the ones who when the day and hour arrive will be blessed and Babylon is overwhelmed!
Just don't forget He baptizes all with fire not only the Holy Spirit, for every man is a liar and God's the truth and every liar will have their portion in the crucible
There's the individual crucible (those pressed and tested against the basalt touch stone) for those who chose to stand on their own defense and took no pardon, and also the fire that every person put onto Christ, which we'll all experience when all is revealed
Well at least that's what I believe, that we see all of what Christ went through the culmination of all history
We'll also know what going into to a sinful world in the first place was all about, and having our bodies in these forms, born into part ignorance/part awareness, etc.
Also how Jesus could be both 100% God and 100% man simultaneously (that's technically already answered if we just read our bibles), how all of creation glorifies Him, what was unseen all along, the kinds of lives people had individually and collectively, etc.
Why we were in linear time, all mysteries, etc.
Although anybody who believes now like you said, we the true Israel, His bride, are saved from the earthbound wrath (in trade for lesser persecutions) and appointed millennial glorification and stewarding His providence (:

    Thoughts?
SAVED BY GRACE--- AND NOT BY SELF CHOICE.... NO MAN CHOOSES JESUS--- HE CHOOSES MAN IN HIS PERFECT TIMING...
PAUL WAS A "CHOSEN VESSEL" AT THE BEGINNING OF THE CHURCH AGE... JESUS' AMAZING GRACE WENT AND SAVED HIM ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF GOD--- AND NOT THE WILL
AND CHOICE OF ANY MAN--- PAUL DID NOT CHOOSE JESUS- BUT JESUS CHOSE HIM..... NOR DID YOU CHOOSE JESUS--- BUT HE CHOSE YOU.....
Act 9:15... But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a CHOSEN VESSEL unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
Religious Bible scholars would have us to believe that THEY MADE A CHOICE TO BE SAVED--they say they SAVED THEMSELVES BY HUMAN CHOICE. That kind of mind set (HUMAN REASONING) just proclaimed that they did not need GOD'S AMAZING SAVING GRACE WORKING to empower them to believe AND be saved. They saved themselves because of THE POWER OF THEIR CHOICE- THEY BOLDLY SAY.
Religion in our churches tell us that the reason they are saved and other people are not is because THEY SAVED THEMSELVES BY MAKING A CHOICE FOR JESUS- THERE IS "NO GRACE" WORKING IN WHAT THEY ARE SAYING. Carnal men say.... I KNOW THE LAMB OF GOD HAS TAKEN AWAY THE SIN OF THE ENTIRE WORLD. Then they say out of the other side of their mouth.... BUT YOU HAVE TO CHOSE JESUS TO BE SAVED.
Thus saying men are saved by THE POWER OF THEIR-MEN'S OWN WILL OR CHOICE is a CLEAR CONRADICTION TO THE TRUE GOSPEL OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST--- JESUS' TRUE SALVATION IS CLEARLY A SALVATION GIVEN "BY THE POWER OF GOD'S SAVING GRACE ALONE--- AND NOT MAN'S CHOICE". THUS does not the choice of man save anyone. I HEARD RELIGION BOLDLY TELL ME THEY CHOSE JESUS.... YES I'VE HEARD THEIR WORDS.... NOW LET'S SEE WHAT "JESUS HIMSELF" SAY'S ABOUT BEING SAVED BY GRACE.
Eph 2:8... For BY GRACE are ye saved through faith; and that NOT OF YOURSELVES- MAN'S CHOICE DID NOT SAVE HIM-- GOD'S GRACE SAVED HIM: it is the gift of God:
RELIGIOUS MEN's words do not agree with GOD'S WORDS. God JUST SAID.... I SAVE BY GRACE through faith.... and that not of YOURSELVES-- meaning-- NOT OF THE POWER OF HUMAN STRENGTH, POWER OR CHOICE. GOD'S GRACE is God's divine empowerment, his enablement TO SAVE.
He found us ALL SPIRITUALLY DEAD in our trespasses and sins. DEAD MEN MAKE NO CHOSES. WE WERE "IN THIS WORLD" SPIRITUALLY DEAD.... and having NO HOPE AT ALL.... NO POWER TO MAKE A CHOICE FOR JESUS. The power of HIS SAVING GRACE
begin to work in us mightily changing our hearts, changing and transforming our desires and hunger. He found us all DEAD SPIRITUALLY TO THE THINGS OF GOD.
We were SPIRITUALLY DEAD, WITHOUT GOD in this world. WITH NO HOPE AT ALL. MAN'S HUMAN CHOICE CANNOT SAVE HIM--- ONLY JESUS SAVES-- AND THAT NOT OF OURSELVES. HIS SAVING GRACE BEGIN TO WORK IN OUR LIVES, THUS A "NEW CREATURE" came forth BY THE GLORIOUS POWER OF HIS MIGHT-- AND HIS MIGHT ALONE.
Therefore all of a sudden WE BEGIN TO DESIRE AND HUNGER TO BE SAVED. In my life I went from being SPIRITUALLY DEAD TO GOD--- THEN GRACE CAME--- AND WHEN HIS SAVING GRACE WORKED ON ME..... I WAS SO HUNGRY FOR GOD-- I WANTED TO BE SAVED TO THE UTTER MOST. Ol the power of HIS SAVING GRACE. JESUS ALONE SAVED ME NOT MY CHOICE. ALL THE GLORY GOES TO MY GOD AND HIS SAVING GRACE..
DID YOU CHOSE JESUS OR DID HE CHOSE YOU! Did your choice save you or did "HIS ELECTION OF GRACE" save you? HERE IT IS... HEAR IT... SEE IS... BELIEVE IT...... HOW CLEAR ARE JESUS' WORDS....
Jhn 15:16... "YE" have NOT CHOSEN ME, BUT I HAVE CHOSEN YOU-BY GRACE, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
JESUS JUST SAID.... YE "YOU" HAVE NOT CHOSEN ME,
BUT I HAVE CHOSEN YOU...... Now Jesus words are SATURATED WITH GRACE AND TRUTH---
Men say THEY ARE SAVED BECAUSE THEY CHOSE JESUS AND OTHER'S DIDN'T CHOOSE HIM... Men's words are filled with religious human reasoning and lies. WE ARE BORN AGAIN BY THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT OF GRACE-- AND NOT BY THE WILL OF MAN NOR THE CHOICE OF MAN. Let GOD BE THE TRUTH and every man contradicting him be a liar. HERE IT IS IN THE WORD... HEAR IT... SEE IT... BELIEVE IT...
Jhn 1:13... WHICH WERE BORN (OF GOD), not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, NOR THE WILL OF MAN, BUT OF GOD.
HEAR IT.... NOR THE WILL OF MAN..... THAT INCLUDES YOUR WILL OR YOUR CHOICE..... YOUR CHOICE DID NOT SAVE YOU..... JESUS DID.....
WHEN I HEAR CHRISTIANS TELL ME..... THEY CHOSE JESUS I THEN KNOW THEY ARE SO IMMATURE IN THE THINGS OF GOD.... THEY YET HAVE NOT A CLEAR REVELATION CONCERNING--- THE AMAZING SAVING GRACE OF ALIMIGHTY GOD....
If you are truly saved today..... Let me give you some GOOD NEWS..... JESUS DID IT...….. NOT YOUR WILL NOR YOUR CHOICE...... GLORY TO HIS NAME.....
    Blessings All!

@Life of Faith Christian Ministry I am new to this teaching and am fast becoming a believer! I wanted to hear your take on James 2 where he basically contradicts the entire set of verses you quoted from Romans chapters 3&4. In James he even goes on to say, Was Abraham works not counted for righteousness? And it talks about him offering Isaac on the alter. However in Genesis, it said Abraham believed when he was told he will have a family as many as the stars. So James was written to the 12 tribes so that may explain it. It seems to even be talking about the Tribulation Jews if you look at James 5:3. Appreciate any feedback! Gos bless you.

Thank you for your comment, Brother. I, personally, do not see any contradiction in James, as James is teaching from a practical perspective. Paul teaches that Faith saves you and makes you a new creation. Not works, but faith. and once you are a new creation, you live in the newness of life, the new nature, the good deeds that God predestined for you. James is saying: if you are a new creation, claiming to be a believer, let me see that in your actions. otherwise your claims are false. Paul is teaching that happens in the heart, James is asking for the outward fruit of what happens in the heart.

    • @FORMDOG
      @FORMDOG 3 ปีที่แล้ว

@@lifeoffaithlebanon Thanks for your response. I have to disagree. If James is saying you are false convert for not outwardly showing works, than it implies that you MUST have works to be a saved Christian. This is false. James is writing this letter to the 12 Tribes of Israel and of you look at Rev 14:12, it’s clearly showing a faith plus works time period. I understand what you’re saying, but respectfully disagree because you can be a carnal Christians your whole life and still be saved. Unless you’re simply saying he wants his congregation to walk in the faith and show good works as an example, but not a salvation issue, then I would agree with you.

Scripture speaks of only two types of “Salvation “ , or being “saved / healed;”:
1 the true and ultimate, actual Salvation from sin and death in Adam, for all mankind that are condemned in Adam, Including all curses, judgments, etc, a factual and total Salvation that ONLY comes about via Yeshua and Him crucified and resurrected.
Grace, fate, belief, acceptance, knowledge, etc. have nothing to do with this type. Sinful men and women, which is everyone ever created, do not participate whatsoever.
    “ it is finished“.
2 The kind of “salvation“ that comes about as soon as one is enlightened and made aware of the first type via fate, belief, through grace, acceptance, knowledge, etc and therefore, one becomes “saved / healed “from the darkness and lies of this world, from their own perspective, even though they were already actually “ Saved” from eternal death in Adam under the first type, but we’re totally unaware of it until YA enlightened them.
Context will determine which type is in view in any given passage.

Sir you get angry because we of the universal reconciliation camp believe ALL will be saved. I do not get angry but I have compassion for you and all who believe not in universal salvation. I like to make some points here first, you quoted this scripture 1) Mark 16:16 this verse says nothing about being 'condemned' the correct Greek word for your 'condemnation' word is "JUDGED" and what are we told about GOD'S judgment? here it is brother if you can receive it...... Isaiah 26:9 With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yes, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early " for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world WILL LEARN RIGHTEOUSNESS" …..you see that? when GOD'S judgments are on the earth the world will learn "righteousness" 2) so you give the glory to men for their "missing the mark" (sins) huh? here are some scriptures you my friend need to get familiar with.....THE LORD created the wicked. Proverbs 16:4 ….THE LORD created us ALL in disobedience. Romans 11:32......THE LORD creates evil. Isaiah 45;7 …….the ONLY way to become like GOD and HIS SON JESUS CHRIST is KNOWING good and evil. Genesis 3:22.....no one can come to JESUS unless THE FATHER draw us TO JESUS. John 6:44.....the ONLY way any of us can keep the LAWS of GOD is by HE giving us a new heart and a new spirit. Ezekiel 36:26.....Jeremiah 31:33...… we were put on this earth to experience good and evil because IT IS how this scripture gets fulfilled...….Genesis 3:22 Then the LORD God said, “Look, the human beings have become like us, KNOWING GOOD AND EVIL...." …..3) So you really believe that GOD is going to wake people up the bad people from their sleep (death) ONLY to send them to hell? PLEASE I urge you to REPENT brother!

      @lifeoffaithlebanon  4 ปีที่แล้ว

Well, dear, after reviewing your posts, your god (small letter) who wants you to experience evil is an evil god. You follow the old testament way of thinking though it was perfected in Jesus, who clearly said that "the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy"... the devil is the murderer, not the Father. God is good, and evil is outside him and his will. It is only an evil god who sits and watches people suffer without interfering. It is sad that your image of God is so negative and scary, the same as the one those who believe in Eternal hell promote.

@@MACLOVIO357-SOSA Dear, offence is not meant at all in my response and no disrespect at all. Let me emphasise on one of the mistakes you mentioned which is totally wrong. In Mark.16: 16, the word for condemned in greek is "condemned" not judged. Literally it is a combination of two words that literally mean "judge-against" i.e. condemned. Check the dictionaries for that. As for God creating Evil, the Bible says in several places that God is good, James says that God only sends good and perfect gifts. The verses used usually out of the Old Testament are out of context and intend to express an image which is incomplete of God, as God's image in the old testament is not perfect and was never perfected except by the revelation of God the Son.

Salvation from condemnation is through Jesus Christ alone, that is why we have to preach the good news so people will escape this punishment of their sins which is based on their works....
Reconciliation is God's plan to ultimately have EVERYONE, those who believed & those who didn't believe, to worship God BUT in the future kingdom of God, we will not all have the same ranking - those who believed in Christ will INHERIT THE KINGDOM - which is something most preachers ignore... this is a marvelous promise from God !
There are many benefits for believing in Christ....its not only to escape the wrath but also to inherit God kingdom for all eternity!
"Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom." - Luke 12:32
Yes, the apostles will have a higher ranking all believers will be part of the inheritance! Hallelujah!
The Bible calls it, 'the inheritance of the saints' !
Now, I was thinking about those who NEVER heard the Gospel and those who lived BEFORE Jesus: it dawned to me that even though they will be reconciled with God after the condemnation/punishment of their sins, however they will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Now when you understand this, you realize how special God thinks of us who live in the times of the Gospel, because it is ONLY through the Gospel that we are SAVED & INHERIT the kingdom !
    This is mind-blowing !

The Bible verses say that God prepared Salvation for all or that he is the Saviour of all. But at the same, salvation in this world requires Faith & baptism (as Jesus mentioned). So the conclusion is this: God wants to save the world. Some receive it in this age, but some get it the hard way, practically not saved, but judged and purified in Gehenna. The ultimate result is one, but makes more sense Biblically.

It's unfortunate you've been tricked into wavering on the salvation of all. Ultimate reconciliation is the outcome of salvation. You're presenting a false dichotomy between the two with the misguided notions that the whole creation is now reconciled to God(leastwise that's how it sounds) and that the bible doesn't teach everyone is saved now. The problem is you don't account for the figure prolepsis(Romans 4:17 for example) which is the text speaking of things that will be as though they're presently accomplished. Because of this you're overshadowing clear declarations of the finished work of the cross that will eventually save all, every man in his own order. Another detail you're overlooking is the word "saved" when it's in the incomplete verb form and when it's in the complete verb form, and both are used for the believer. Salvation is a process. If it wasn't we wouldn't be looking forward to the resurrection. Our own salvation is not complete but from God's perspective we're already seated with Christ. This is prolepsis and if God inspired the writers of the scriptures to speak of things that will be as though they are, why forbid it in our own evangelizing? If we think it's a done deal, what major difference of significance are you making? Granted when confusion comes as a result of the process of salvation conveyed in the text we must point out the difference between God reckoning us as righteous when we come to believe the evangel and the completed work of our salvation at the resurrection that removes all of our corruption. As to Romans 3:22 why are you reading the word IN into the text? You're taking liberty with the text because of the preponderance of scriptures that talk about faith IN Jesus Christ. Faith in Christ is the part of the process of coming to the realization that Jesus died on the cross to bring salvation to all and was raised the third day conquering death for all thus making Him Lord over all things until He subdues all sin and brings all enemies under His feet. Salvation is a process and the final outcome, while yet future, is a done deal. Therefore speaking of the outcome as though it's already done is concordant with scripture. I don't have a problem with you pointing out critical distinctions but you're putting the cart before the horse. Reconciliation is a product of salvation. The reconciliation of all isn't complete either because not everyone is saved. Sin and death still permeate the creation. If the reconciliation of all is now then God being the All in all is rather unimpressive. It's never been my understanding that biblical universalists are teaching the salvation of all is now complete nor that God isn't just. Unfortunately your message is confusing because you sound like you're rejecting the outcome because of scriptures speaking of the now. What makes this confusion striking is you've eloquently responded to people in past who put your words on a slippery slope saying you're implying that all religions lead to God if people go to their graves rejecting Jesus as the only way to God. You used the correct scripture Philippians 2:9-11. In view of your prior understanding of this scripture it's odd you're making the case that the bible doesn't say everyone isn't saved because of scriptures that speak of the present state of the creation. It doesn't seem possible you could have understood Philippians 2:9-11 without realizing that's a truth for the future, not now.
Anyway I recently subscribed because you seemed to be evangelizing the truth but you sound confused and on your way to a different evangel. I have to unsub your channel. Too bad because it's hard to find biblical universalists. I hope the fog clears for you soon. Take care and many blessings.

This punishment is a purgatorial in nature. Thus, the sins were not forgiven by the blood of Jesus are judged per their limited value, and for the purpose of purification. Until all are purified. It's a bit hard to follow you there brother.
The intervention of faith brings salvation, but it is not what saves us, least the cross be not needed
Scripture is clear that we are saved by his mercy/blood, and that all have been handed over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all.
It just seems like you are splitting hairs with your terminology
It appears presupposed at the cross that everyone shall be saved obviously. Father forgive them for they know not what they do.
Why does God still blame us for who can resist his will?
Shall the clay say to the potter, why did you make me like this.😮 (The case of Judas)
4But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, 5He saved us,(past tense, done)not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth. Titus3: 3-6 (born again)
We are saved from sin from Adam(no choice)
Look here is the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. All mankind and creation was born again at the cross obviously, this is why Christ was going to the cross when he told Nicodemus you must be born again. Absolutely nothing to do with the choice of man.
The Wrath of God is to end evil not his beloved creation (noun)
Jesus does not save us from God😊
But agree some seem to make the banquet and some don't, however this is under God's control because he has mercy on him he wants to have mercy.
However, it is specifically clear that the absence of mercy does not quantify the absence of love. And that's were a lot of us get confused thinking there's two Gods one of judgement and one of love, a grave mistake.
Judgement all through the scripture appears as a prerequisite to the following act of mercy
Although it's a mystery and I have studied and looked at this topic for years It is obvious that love wins in the end.
Ironically it is explicitly clear that every knee and tongue shall bow and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the father.
It would seem that the scripture is correct when it states that "no one is cast off by the Lord forever Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love. For he does not willingly bring affliction or grief to anyone.

@@lifeoffaithlebanonI agree we have the free will to choose who we will serve on this side of life as to the experiencing a measure of salvation and grace.
But I don't agree this choice has anything to do with pertaining to a point of salvation, as that point was obviously made by God at the cross for all.
1 Timothy 4:10 As I'm sure you are aware of states along this line
"That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe"

    • @lifeoffaithlebanon
      @lifeoffaithlebanon  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@brianbrodie8331 that's the part where we have to split hairs. What is the measure of salvation that we decide on in this life? Even when we agree that eventually all will.be restored and all will be well by the grace or God.

    • @Tommythecat007
      @Tommythecat007 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

But the problem is you still seem to have the point of salvation subject to the choice of man not the work or obedience of Christ.
It completely negates the cross and therefore I find it impossible to hold such a position. I mean what was the purpose of the cross? What actually happened at the cross? You haven't really explained or given your account of this.
The scripture says not just you but you and your household will be saved ....wait on a minute, the others got saved by someone else's intention/choice 😮? that's where it gets a little more tricky.
At what point has a man conjured up enough faith or belief to announce 'I believe' and be saved? I'm aware of the scriptures and in simple English it would literally look like what you are saying must be obviously correct , but on the other hand it also appears totally flawed.
And this is the very dilemma where we of course get the main theologies of Arminianism, Calvinism, Universalism and Ultimate reconciliation etc.
But I think we both agree because of the fact that salvation belongs to the Lord that He will in the end will save and reconcile all mankind and creation according to His will.
I mean either way who's going to stop Him😊

    • @lifeoffaithlebanon
      @lifeoffaithlebanon  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

@brianbrodie8331 Not me, it is the Bible, it is the new testament terminology. CALVINISM has spoiled the mind of Christians towards the meaning of Grace. SALVATION is always linked to human response in the New Testament, I can provide 10 scriptures from the Top of my head that confirms that.

As to your views of righteousness, and receiving Jesus, it is true that God's justice will require vengeance for the evil done and the hurt caused to other humans, but that is "An eye for an eye" not "Hell forever" but "Hades for an eternal impact"
