Pakistanis here in uk are doing great job.Believe me i belong to india and belong to a very patriotic family.After meeting people from pakistan here in Uk,my perspective has changed.
I cite the some examples to support my claim.On reaching london,in a hotel i found one pakistani couple.they talked and treated me nicely.Breakfast was not included in my stay but they just nt allowed it for me but also packed some foood for my journey ahead.
Second such incident was in my college,when a college staff from Pakistan tried helping me to get some food wen he came to know that i am indian,he refused taking money saying we are brothers from same mother.
3rd-I encountered a pakistani female driver,once she became aware of my nationality,she just not guided but also gave her reference number for any help in future.
There are multiple such examples i can speak about and i really feel if these people are so nicer,we can't just keep hating them for forever...

My hubby does taxis. He encounters people like this guy everyday.
Over 2O years ago he got brutally attacked and beaten by 5 racists.
One racist used my hubbys seat belt to choke him from behind while the one in the front punched him in the face repeatedly.
He managed to get out of his car and run. One racist drove his car into a lampost while the others chased him and beat him kicking him in the face, chest, back and head.
He managed to get up and run when the other guy crashed his car into the lampost. He was trying to run my hubby over. My hubby hid in someones back garden.
He said he couldn't see where he was going because there was too much blood in his eyes.
He called his taxi base not the police because the police dont protect taxi drivers.
His friends called the cops so they were witnesses.
He went to hospital and couldnt go back to work for 6 months.
The halifax cops came down the next day to interview him buy instead kept threatening him and intimidating him.
They wouldn't let him identify the perpetrators and the street camera footage disappeared.
About a month later they finally allowed him to identify the perpetrators which they only arrested 2 of them overnight and let them go.
During the line up the cops continued to laugh at him and intimidate him and kept telling him if he identifies the wrong guys then hes going to put innocent men in prison.
He kept telling them his eyes are still swollen and his sight is blurry but they took no notice of him.
He left without identifying any of them but the cops let the perpetrators go and were having a laugh with them.
The cops closed the case and it never went to court.
Years later one of the cops met my hubby and he apologised to him and told him that he knew what they did to him was wrong.
He also told him the two guys arrested were related to one of the cops and that they have done this to other taxi drivers too.
Eventually he managed to get back to work once his eyesight returned.
Even today taxi drivers are not allowed to defend themselves. They have to drive long hours to make up for when customers dont pay.
They also have to pay to clean their cars when customers vomit, spill food and drink or cause damage.
They used to get attacked a lot more before when they carried money but since a lot of people pay using their cards they dont carry much cash.
My hubby knows many other drivers who have been abused and attacked.
Not one taxi driver he knows has recieved justice.
Non of the racial abuse ever gets reported and the night shifts are the worst.
The elderly and those with young children seem to appreciate taxis more since they park outside and get dropped off close to destinations.
Its less stressful for them.
My hubbies taxi base over the years started taking notes of addresses of the abusers but the cops weren't interested so they started refusing calls from those addresses and refused to pick up customers from there

Wallahi, I've never been accepted by them (Obvously not all are the same) but since Primary School I realised I wasn't the "same" as my friends.
