Its a privately run event. He was invited by Lucy, but his invitation got voided when he didn't show up at the security briefing. Regardless, the organizers in private events can choose who speaks and who doesn't.
Couldn't they simply take him to the security briefing? I just don't think you can stop someone from giving a speech without a valid reason. Especially when it's not like he snuck in he came with those people in the yellow vests that were part of the event they were showing him the entrance. Yes I understand they can invite who they want, but it just seems quite funny they invite someone and that person actually shows up so they shut him down before he can even make his speech. Freedom of speech? I think not.
