Practice, practice, practice, on what you have available to you now. Have fun doing it and just enjoy the journey. I believe you learning how to DJ, might even inspire you with new music productions. Heck, having both DJ and music production skills, could take you beyond your wildest dreams. Learn everything you can and try to find a way to separate your style and music, from others so that you stand out.

I am from a rock and dance background and got hooked on EDM a few years ago. Beat matching and transitioning using the EQ is ALOT of fun. I also produce using Reason and Ableton. Inevitably you will fuse these worlds together as you use your own work to enhance your mixing and explore mash ups. That’s when it really takes off to another level. I like to mash rock and disco with EDM, fusing classics with new. The sky is the limit. ENJOY!! Great job on your studio and vid. Thanks for that!

Just ordered this board myself im really into house and thats what inspired me to get this so i can make a mix of my favorite tracks. Also the club i like to go to in the summer i swear the dj has the same set everytime i go there to dance....deep down i feel like i could make a few better mixes then what hes bringing to the table. We'll see let the journey begin! Hope to see more videos from you on this fun!

I'm going to learn piano then learn to mix, I have a vision also and developing a plan to dj a local club this time next year. I'll be organizing and launching my channel at the beginning of the year and sharing my vision, plan and journey. I wish you lots of success in your journey. I've traveled around this sun a bunch of times and have some advice. Have fun with what you do and don't let the first person to stop you from doing anything be you.
Quick question, I ordered the same DJ controller but it didn’t come with a cord to plug into my laptop, is it an HDMI cord that I need to buy? I was also impatient and I got two but neither box came with a cord to plug it in
Mine came with a usb-c to usb-c connection, i plug it directly into my laptop or i power it and can connect it with bluetooth to rekordbox app on a mobile device.

I'm not a professional DJ nor Producer like you. I'm just a person who loves making music and mixing. Keep it up, I know you can do it. A tip of advise, learn your equipment first and study the basics of being DJ, Beat Matching, Phrasing, Mix in key. Those are the core fundamentals of being a DJ. I hope those words may help you.
