@@ashleyolson9140 hey Ashley! Unfortunately the 2020 Outlander Sport does not have a connected app like this. There are aftermarket options available if you wanted to use a mobile app, but your local Mitsubishi dealer also sells factory remote starts that work with a separate fob if you were interested. A good gift for the holidays 😉
Hello! Thanks for the comment. This is available on certain Eclipse Cross models. On the 2018-2023 models. it is available on the SE/SEL trims, on the 2024, it is available on the LE/SE/SEL trims.
I received your answer, but I have a 20024 phev outlander. When I press the fan icon all I get isthe temp (in this case 21C) and start below that is the schedule. No stop button
@@mrtrido thanks for commenting! Did you get the Outlander or the Outlander Plug-in? On the plug-in it will let you set a different temperature but so far, the Outlander has not let us set the temperature. Also, are you in the US Market? Thank you!
@ yes usa std outlander i need to try can i at night turn like defroster on turn car off then next day remote start and the def would be on? also if i did this would i not hit the temp 75 button
@@mrtrido correct me if I'm misunderstanding your question, but to my knowledge, the 75 degree temperature will dictate the temperature and dispersion of the air blowing after the remote climate is turned on. So if it's real cold, it should blast the defrost with heat, but if it's warm outside, it should blast cold air from the front facing vents.
@@midstatemitsubishi ok so you think say it is 32 outside air temp that remote start will also use the front windshield defrost. i was thinking no only heat vents like floor and i would need to turn on defroster setting night before turn car off. then next am remote start would my last setting in this case the defroster?or mabe no doesnt work that way and remote start over rides last used setting. thanks
Not necessarily. On both the Eclipse/PHEV it will give you the option to set a temperature, otherwise it will default to 75 degrees. The Outlander always defaults to 75 degrees as there is no option to change the temperature. I hope this helps?
The remote start is now part of the Mitsubishi Connect App. The "start/stop" button has now been replaced with a "climate" button. The button now looks like a fan. "Climate" is the button you would press to remote start the vehicle.
Thank you for commenting! Unfortunately, since the Montero Sport is unavailable here in the US, I cannot confidently answer that question. However, after a little research, Mitsubishi Connect seems like it may be available in certain regions. I also found an application called Mitsubishi Remote Control for the the Montero Sport. I hope this helps! Sorry we couldn't be of more assistance.
On the Mitsubishi Connect App, there’s no true way to add a second user, however it is a shared login so you can use the same login on multiple devices
Hello Wayne, there's two buttons depending on your model of vehicle. In the Eclipse Cross, click on "Start/Stop Engine" and click on "stop." In the Outlander/PHEV, click on "climate" (the fan icon), and click on "stop." Or if you waited it out, the climate is set to automatically turn off after 10 minutes.
Yes, this is a subscription based service. It has become quite normal in new vehicles. Similar to Chevrolet's MyLink, Chrysler's Uconnect and Hyundai's BlueLink. Some German manufacturers are even charging subscriptions for their heated seats. However, the original owner does get this for free for 2 full years.
Hello Ramon, this feature is available on the 2022-2024 Outlander. It was available on ES Convenience, SE, Black Edition, and SEL Trims in 2022 and has been standard on all 23-24 Outlanders. What year is your Outlander?
I believe it, when you first download the app, it only lets you select "North America, Asia or Europe." However, on the App Store, there is other Mitsubishi remotes but I'm not sure if those would work?

It sounds like your climate may have already stopped then. After the climate is started, the "start" button should be replaced with "stop"

They removed the ability to change the temperature, I’m forced stuck at 75 degrees.
On the Eclipse and PHEV, you can still change the temperature but the Outlander has always defaulted to 75. I made this video with a PHEV model.
On the plus side though, 75 will heat up the car in the cold and cool it in the heat
299/year it’s absolutely insane. 😢

Money grabbing exercise ! Thought Mitsubishi was different 🙄🤔
That's the world in 2024 unfortunately. :/
