This is AWESOME! Quite possibly one of the prettiest I’ve seen! This strung up with some mother of pearl, small wooden and transparent red…that would be a stunning centrepiece necklace

Ohhhh! Thanks Beth 😭🌹🌹😭. I was thinking it was not what I expected…..but since it was the topper of the tripod, I felt the importance of showing how I made it. Love your necklace idea! Xoxoxo 🔥😘😃👍🏽

Nice depth, the striking boro colors are the reason I use borosilicate glass. They offer great variations

So true, the depth and clarity are amazing! Can’t wait to explore more. 👍🏽🔥

Love this from another boro beginner. I have had amazing colour effects with striking colours. Very easy to strike. But I'm just learning. Appreciate this and great ideas. Can't thank you enough. Xx

Thanks Lena! Boro colors are so different….. some are unbelievably cool! I’m going to have to tighten my belt and at least get a new sampler pack of boro color if there are any good ones out there. I love those Exotics! 🌹🔥👍🏽

Wow what beautiful colors. I tried a couple of times working with Boro but I use a Concentrater and a mega minor so not hot enough to do a good job. I worked very small. But it was much easier, for me, to work off mandrel. I have always used super blue sludge release for 104 and it’s supposed to be very good for boro. 👍

Thanks for the tip Enrico! I use Foster Fire Smooth & Tuff….. but it wasn’t very Tuff with this one!
I might try the Super Blue…. I’ve used many different releases then stopped when I found this one.
It’s always been good, but in certain circumstances (obviously) it failed me. 😂😂
Glad you like the colors, that Blue Moon is amazing!! 🔥👍🏽

I started with Boro and quit. Hot enough O2. 15 years later giving it another try and keeping it small

Hi Maria! I’m so glad you decided to give it another go! ✨🌹 I do not do much in Boro, but I will definitely try to come up with something fun! I have a lot of clear but very little colors. …very different from the soft glass! However, the hard glass is so fascinating…. Sculpture beads might be interesting? 🤨
Thanks so much for your comment, Maria! Cheers- Robin 👋🏽🌹✨💫

Is the bead release the same for boro as it is for soft glass? I've been working boro for 11 years now and wanna start giving g beads a try.

Hey Meatball! 😅 yes! I use the same. My personal favorite is Foster Fire Smooth & Tuff. Works well on larger scales. All of the 104 demos would translate perfectly into the Boro!
Thanks for asking! 😃 Cheers- Robin 👋🏽✨💫
