I'm crying 😭💖💖💖🙌 we love you, MISA!!!
I watch your videos everyday on my way to school.
ミサ先生のおかげでN3日本語能力試験に合格できました!!!🙏 I owe you everything!!!! I never picked up a single book. I watched your videos and studied some kanji on the Memrise app.
I'm so grateful for your amazing videos 🙏✨ it must take you forever to make such awesome videos... Organizing the info, translating everything, explaining things in English, and then editing everything.... I can't imagine. As a teacher myself, I know how hard it is to break things down simply for people to understand.
I always understand you perfectly 👍😊💯 you might not have a "strong heart" 💖 but you have the kindest heart in the world to spend so much time trying to teach us! 🙌
    I love you, Misa!
Thank you so much for everything!

Out of all the Japanese teachers here on TH-cam I've seen (I've seen a fair share of them, not all though - that'd be impossible) I really love your way of teaching the most.
Your thoughts that go in your lessons, the manner how you present challenging topics and the occasional Pikachu. I can only imagine how much effort you put into everything that’s not on camera.
Structured lessons? _Check._ Useful grammar and vocabulary? _Check._ Pikachu? _Check._ A rainbow of Kanji? _Check._ How do I say the thing nobody teaches because it may be rude and/or inappropriate I didn’t even knew that I want to know until after I just learned it? _Check._ Pikachu? _Doublecheck._ Adorable sensei? _Huge checkmark.*_
Misa-Sensei, thank you sooo much! (≧∇≦)/
*I know in Japan _Marujirushi_ (丸印) is used as the equivalent of a checkmark but I'm hesitant to mix languages.

Awesomest teacher aside, Misa you're really a great person for taking out the time and doing this. The end result is this video but I cannot imagine the amount of work you put into putting the transcript/plan together, and then the editing and subtitles and color-coding - OH MY GOD. I can't believe this is free and I hope I can meet you (although I'm very socially awkward) and tell you how much I appreciate what you've done for all of us. I wish you a ton of health, I remember feeling like you do - I am also a sickly(?) person but I'm getting better with age and managing health is a LOT - I can't believe you are doing such great work despite of your health concerns! Thank you so so soooo much!

I love how you reference what we learned in previous lessons as an opportunity to revise and taking time to think of things that are likely to be confusing and explaining the differences, addressing the common mistakes. Also I think you have a very pleasant tone of voice so even if someone has to listen to a lot and go back etc, it never feels tiresome because it makes the whole learning process relaxing :). Cute and pastel kinds of colors you use to highlight stuff, in a visually pleasing manner also contribute to this cozy atmosphere :D. Normally I'd get frustrated when I would encounter something difficult but it never happens with your lessons, everything feels great to learn!

Misa, I've been watching your videos now for about a year and can't recommend them enough! The way you are able to explain the grammatical concepts and differences between English and Japanese is truly a gift. You make it so easy to understand the subtle differences that normally we miss when learning from different sources such as text books or other teachers online. I've been able to take the grammar and vocabulary learned from your channel and notice a HUGE difference when connecting with people when visiting Japan. As a linguist myself, i can truly say you're one of the best teachers on the platform and i often try to emulate the way you describe grammar rules when teaching others. If you're ever taking on new students in tutoring lessons please let me know! I'd enjoy being able to improve my Japanese with you before i go there again! Thanks for all the lessons!

Thanks very much for your videos, they are thorough, entertaining and well produced! I recently became a monthly Patreon supporter (not much, but just what I can afford--everyone should do the same!) on Christmas day as a thank you present to you for your hard work. I couldn't figure out how to add a comment at the time so, this is a belated message of thanks! My partner and I live in a city in Japan where English is not always common and we are both English teachers here. He is JLPT 2 and I study and struggle everyday to make small talk with the locals--your videos help us both in so many ways! I watch them before I go out into the city to get groceries or explore and it makes me so much more confident than I could be on my own. Thank you a million times, you're a great teacher!

Because I'm English and trying to learn some Japanese on my own using books and TH-cam, I soon found out that my native language is 英語 (eigo) and that I am イギリス人 (igirisujin).
But I keep finding 'England' also transliterated as イングランド (ingurando) so I'm wondering whether there is any difference in the way these terms are used.
Another brilliant lesson, by the way! I always feel that you are giving us the ammo to deal with real situations in modern Japanese. 💮

ありがとうございますみさ先生! These lessons are incredibly dense.....it's very difficult to get everything out of them (I have 2 other videos open right now with active notes).
Beginner lessons: こんにちは!わたしは美です。"Now if you can count to 10 and order ramen, that's the ENTIRE TEXTBOOK"
Advanced lessons: Ah, you can introduce yourself....time for HEIAN POETRY 叙事詩
Misa sensei: "Here are 10 usable grammatical forms and 3 horrible things you should never say.....with pikachu examples."

This came out at a good time since I'm working on nai and nakatta. Neko will win (my opinion only). Thanks for your hard work and feel better.

Great sentences, once again! Stuff like "taking out trash" are the things everyone probably needs!
