- The fairy pools on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. On the western edge of the black Cuillin mountains, nestled in Glen Brittle, lie a series of magical pools filled with glowing with blue water.
A must see place to visit on any trip to Skye and to dip a toe (or more) into the frigid cold waters.

It was a lot quieter than when the humans and I went back in May. Mind it was lunchtime when we arrived : ) Nice video and watch out for those Kelpies some look like teddy bears from what I have heard! Thanks for sharing Take care Teddy
Hey Teddy! Yeah, by the time I got back to the car around 11 it was super busy. The massive carpark was packed! Haha ill keep an eye out for them!
@@ScottishMountainGoat We didn't set out to go to the fairy pools otherwise we would have set off earlier than we did. Our hoilday accommodation was near Spean Bridge we had only inteded driving to Plocton for the day but the weather wasn't great so we kept going untill we found some dry weather. That happened to be near Carbost ; ) Hence it was around 11 when we arrived , we parked in a woodland carpark though and walked from there. got When we got down to the start of the main track we could see the main carpark was packed ! So we just had to make the best of it and it was not easy to relax and experience the peace of the place. Capturing footage and photo's without others around was difficult. However it wsa dry and we saw the fairy pools for the first time. Don't think I want to rush back though , I spent most of the time in the bag hiding from folk ; )

Absolutely beautiful. I have a question. Sorry if this sounds stupid but I am not the best swimmer hoping I’ll learn to swim by the time I go to Scotland. but if I don’t are the pools very deep like if someone can stand in 3 - 4 foot water is that sufficient
There are many different pools of varying depths along the glen, some only up to your ankles and other very deep. You will be able to find one that suits your abilities. Hope you enjoy your trip to
