I don't remember how I came across to your page! Since then I got into Pyrography but for awhile now I been comparing my work to others so I stopped cause it is intimidating. Listening to you I'm like "she's right it takes practice, patience and add your own flare"! Thank you for being you. Keep up your beautiful art and words❤
Just gorgeous! Wonderful teaching -- very professional and music background is lovely! I'll definitely check out the magazine....love adding the color! I've subscribed with notifications.
I'm just getting started with wood burning and shading is the main thing holding me up...I can't seem to figure out the light source and where my shading should go. When I watch videos then it makes sense where the shadows go but for me to see it on my own it's tough!
Great to be inspired, BUT I’m here in Denmark not a lot of options for buying tools and tips. I can find some on Amazon , but no shading tip like yours, or if I do they don’t send to Denmark or it is so expensive in extra Duty 🙈🙈🙈
Wow you have some talent there!!! That's so cool & beautiful, thank you so much for sharing your awesome talent, also thank you for explaining things so clearly. I'm off to watch some more of your amazing videos 🥰 P.S. I'm definitely subscribing thanx again from New Zealand 💓
Just discovered your channel and am enjoying all the wonderful tutorials. Sadly, The template link seems to be going nowhere--I assume it's been a while and your site has gotten some updates 😊
Hi yes! I just updated my site not long ago and it’s hard to remember where all the links are. I’m away from my computer right now, but I’ll get this template reloaded asap and send you a new link. Thanks for letting me know!!
Thanks! And congrats on getting a burner! I'm not sure which burner you got, but I have a lot of videos on my channel featuring different burners from brass tip to wire tip kits.
Thanks Flavio! I have to say, their website is kind of challenging to navigate, but I'm using a spoon shader here. This is the one on the site I found that looks like mine: store.razertip.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=HD30M
Thanks Beth! I use minimal amounts of water on my brush. If the brush is too overloaded with water, I dab it into a paper towel before I put it in the wood.
I’ve been wood burning for awhile but I only have been doing black and white images because I have no idea how to add shading. Finding an image to do is hard, then translating it to a tracing I can follow is also difficult, then doing the actual shading I have no idea where the light and the shadows should be 😢
Hi, Dawn! I've put together a series of videos that can help you out with dark/background shading if you want to check them out! Shading Part One: th-cam.com/video/wUuDksijekM/w-d-xo.html Shading Part Two: th-cam.com/video/Pjj9M6Zjm8I/w-d-xo.html Shading Tutorial: th-cam.com/video/YftP69Ac7q4/w-d-xo.html
I'm careful to not add too many lines from the stencil and I tend to make them really light. At the time of this video, I would use a sand eraser or a razor blade to remove any unwanted lines left over, but I use my customizer tool now. th-cam.com/video/xkYSF3beaC0/w-d-xo.html
Your voice, your teaching methods, your talent, your editing 👍 Spot on lady! Thanks!

LOL! Thank you!

Great Job in sharing your tips, expertise, and thoughts... Enjoyed... Now I am guided to sign up for the magazine... Thanks again..

That was amazing, now can you recommend what kind of burner and pens to use. I bought one that gets too hot.
This is my Razertip P80; it works great. And any of their models work great, I have all of them.

I love it I got a wood burning kit for Christmas and watching video on how to use it do you have any pointers thank you
Thanks! And congrats on getting a burner! I'm not sure which burner you got, but I have a lot of videos on my channel featuring different burners from brass tip to wire tip kits.
Beautiful 🤗
Thank you! 😊
Wonderful 😊 what is the wood used here please ? Or, what kind of wood do you recommend please ? Thank you very much for your videos !
Thank you! This is a live edge basswood.
@@Pyrocrafters thank you very much 😊
That’s really beautiful
Thanks Andy!!
Beautiful!
Thanks DJ!
I am inspired to burn more.
Yes!
good evening from Belgium have you worked with pallet wood, thank you for your video good evening
I have, but I don’t recommend burning pallet wood. It’s hard to know the origins/safety of the wood. Better to use new, raw wood.
You're Awesome
Love it!
Thanks Betty!
Amazing skills
Thank you so much!
This is gorgeous, I just got the Razortip burner and I need to purchase more pens. What shader are you using here?
Thanks Flavio! I have to say, their website is kind of challenging to navigate, but I'm using a spoon shader here. This is the one on the site I found that looks like mine:

Beautiful! You are inspiring! One question, how do you keep your watercolor painting from running and spreading?
Thanks Beth! I use minimal amounts of water on my brush. If the brush is too overloaded with water, I dab it into a paper towel before I put it in the wood.

It's a learning curve for sure. Just start small and keep working at it.
The template download links say not found?
Looks great, I have such a hard time with solid background! It is hard to get that smooth, solid dark colour, especially with shader…any tips?

I can’t find the shader you used the number doesn’t show up
How do you remove any lines left visible from the stencil drawing?
I'm careful to not add too many lines from the stencil and I tend to make them really light. At the time of this video, I would use a sand eraser or a razor blade to remove any unwanted lines left over, but I use my customizer tool now. th-cam.com/video/xkYSF3beaC0/w-d-xo.html
Can you please details of your burner?
I’m using my Razertip P80.
@@Pyrocrafters plz share the picture of the burner
Use a dotting tool instead of a pencil to trace it out of the magazine if you don't want to get it dirty.
super J'adore
J'aimerais le matériel complet de la pyrogravure, pouvez vous m'aider ???
How do you not breathe in the smoke
I have an exhaust fan built into the ceiling of my shop, so it pulls it away from my face and out of my shop.
