Is it possible for a beginner to do one or all of these? These are all amazing and exactly what I am looking to do (on a lot of my designs). I don’t see where to click for the tree patterns. TIA
Would it work to stain after the burn, then paint? And what finish would you suggest (hodgepodge, etc)? I’m new to wood burning and wanted to incorporate my art into it like this. Thank you for the tutorial, you’re an amazing artist.
You can absolutely stain after burning, but I’m not sure about adding paint on top. I’ve never tried them together. Maybe if they had the same base (oil or water) it could work. I typically seal them with a lacquer or polycrylic spray.
Thank you for this video, so realistically burnt trees! You make it look easy :) i also have a razertip, and spoon shader but its very.. round at the bottom, is that normal? May i also ask, i dont quite understand the difference between the red cord and black cord other than one is hwavy duty - is that simply stronger, more.durable cabel or does it have anything to do with the amount of heat going through it? Do i need to only use specific tips with it? Thank you for your time.
Hey there! For these types of shading pieces, I burn on lower heats. I'm using my Razertip here, so burning around a 3 - 4 or lower depending on the shade I'm going for.
I live in Canada and want to purchase the Razortip SK Kit but when I put your discount code in,its not accepting it,could you please let me know why that is?
Gorgeous little trees. ❤ Love the delicate details. 😊
I'm in awe of your woodburning skill and the realism in your trees. Thank you for this very helpful video..

What king of paint do you use? Thanks so much
I'm using watercolors from Winsor and Newton here.
What is the eraser pen you have. I'm sure it's like a dremel. But I can't find it anywhere. Great video!
Here's the sand eraser I use: amzn.to/3s2neYp
Here's the culiau tool I use: culiau.com/discount/ANEYCARVER?ref=wFzctGH3Ejo92U

I don't have a discount code for Razertip or any affiliate links for them.
Are these sped up?
It’s been a while since I filmed these, but I think I did speed these up by 2-3x so I could keep the video within an hour.
What razor tip did you use for this piece?
This is my SK. Love it!!
My heat fades out to fast to do circles like that. Ends up looking muddy. Not sure why. I am using exactly what you are using.
Oh that’s interesting, without having a look at your burner, I’m not sure why that would be either.
Samplers are nice pieces.
