I have the Sony here. Can't afford it so I rent it when I need it. AF is flawless as you mentioned. It's the top tier. If I'd need it very often I'd make it possible to buy it. Third party stuff is a risk you take whenever the camera gets a firmware update. My opinion 🤷🏻‍♂️

I couldn’t agree with you more, we only buy kit if we know we are going to use it all the time. Mind you, I don’t need much of an excuse. You’re right, third party can be a risk and we’ve been caught out a couple of times. If you can buy native, always do it. Thanks for your comment 🙌

The Sony wins on the auto focus and how quick it grabs hold. But the end client or viewer wouldn’t see the difference.
