Interesting to see from the sky at sunrise. I visited the Humber Aggregates Quarry for many years at Newport. It’s been transformed into North Cave Wetlands now. But maybe still partly a quarry. Also the Allerthorpe Lake was a quarry. Saw quite a few in my 28 years working for the council planning department.
That was incredibly interesting , a real contrast between industry and nature , and when you think about it an awful lot of beautiful lakes are formed after open cast mining is finished and become habitats for wildlife … so ironic that something so industrial and seemingly destructive can be the cause of something so natural , and help with the conservation of endangered species , and you captured that process perfectly. I couldn’t really make out an ancient site , there was rather a lot of scaring on the surface of the land , but I did notice what looked like a raised semicircle next to a circular water filled area and suspected that it might be quite ancient but I wasn’t sure. Great footage Davey, thank you for sharing 😊👍

I've been to the wetlands at North Cave and will be going back. These places are amazing from the sky, and nature loves to get involved.

Did you enjoy the music? Recorded this afternoon in 4 hours ❤
@@timothystravels8492yes is the short answer … and if that was recorded in 4 hours the word gifted comes to mind 👍
Sometimes songs just fall out....I happened to be there to catch it 😁
@@timothystravels8492 Good catch 😊👍
Thanks Davey, this is really good. I have a quarry video coming out on Wednesday.❤
Look forward to seeing it 😀
@@timothystravels8492 You have probably been yourself. It's the disused one at Burdale.
