Fun fact for you: Katie Cassidy WAS ACTUALLY in Taken lol. She played Liam Neeson's daughters friend that she went to Paris with lol and she also got taken in that movie. So Aaron wasn't wrong
I actually liked the little felicity and Oliver story arc. It was over and finished I the episode and it was a great parallel with Dig and Lyla. I liked the difference in their marriages from the perspective of new and old, for lack of better words in my head at moment.
Godamn. All I can say is that Arrow been tight for the past 6 weeks or so. Here’s hoping for a great season finale. It’s too late for this season to be better than S1, S2, or S5 but that don’t mean it’s gonna be on S3 and S4 level. If the finale is good then it’ll be a good season overall. Ohh and it’s definitely destroying Flash imo.
Omar Barakat I feel it’s been solid ..I have enjoyed most of the season (though the inner team conflict could have been handled better )..it’s not as good as 1,2 and 5 but definitely better then 3 and 4
Omar Barakat The next season will most likely be the Escape from Supermax storyline, especially considering that they name dropped it in this very episode.
Why doesn't Oliver claim that he and his team are agents of Argus? That should cover them. It's like Supergirl working for the DEO. Also, what can the FBI do that Argus (what seems to be an equivalent of Shield) can't.
I presume because the FBI operate under the jurisdiction of the Department of Justice, whereas ARGUS is likely under the Department of Defence therefore they may have leeway operating on US soil with regards to defence/homeland security matters but when it comes to law enforcement have little power. Think of them as part CIA/part NSA who have no law enforcement function domestically.
Damn, Diaz is a coward, who only dares to face Oliver when he is weakened. Anatoly is the biggest threat, although he is working in the shadows, since he is playing both Diaz and Oliver.
It was really only 5 episodes and only 3 of those were grating to me, so definitely not 'most' of the second half. I was actually hoping at least some of NTA was gone for good but oh well. That said, I could have done without that storyline, but everything since then and before has been good enough I can forgive it.
Thank you Eric, I said the same thing. Oliver has super friends, like the flash, Supergirl, Legends etc. Why not ask them for help. Why ask that she devil of an agent? Smh.😒 Really didn't miss her and the attitude.
Shaneal Rainford we all know why he couldn’t ask barry for help, even though I said the same thing, the only reason is it’s because his show, if this were more realistic in the way people reacted, he would just ask Barry to search the city and bring Diaz to him and vioala problem solved
Oliver also wants Felicity to be safe because he's William's mother in a sense now. She doesn't have combat training either. So her staying out of the fire fight is best for everyone in his mind. If he dies he dies, but at least his wife and child are taken care of.
Really Good episode imo. the drama between Felicity and Oliver wasnt overbearing imo and i could see both sides to an extent. the action was well done and intense, the apartment fight between Oliver and Diaz's goons was my favorite one. im also glad Dinah finally acknowledged how blind with rage and grief she got and its redeemed her a bit more in my eyes. Oliver telling Watson that he is the Green Arrow is sure not gonna end well for him, hes definitely going to jail, he may be a hero now but he was a murderer before and now hes gotta do the time for it i know Diaz is "divisive" to say the least but i like his character's backstory of coming from nothing and people treating him like nothing thus never wanting to be treated like that again thus having alot of ambition for power and respect and i think Kirk Acevedo is quite good in the role, i think Diaz is good.
Only gripe i had with the episode was Oliver apologising to Felicity for not trusting her ability to keep herself safe. She wasn't able to keep herself safe, she would have been killed by Diaz if Oliver didn't save her.
Smittz - That didn’t bother me because Oliver admitted that he changed the rules. Plus, i didn’t see it as him solely apologizing for not trusting her to keep herself safe, but instead for pushing her away and sidelining overwatch as if her contribution to the team hasn’t saved his life. I mean in 6x18, untrained and unarmed she ran in to that same police precinct and kept Oliver from being shot by those same cops.
+Pfruit0916 I think Oliver was in the right to change the rules for her. She has no combat experience and isn't able to defend herself. She was also stupid to run into the police station to get that device when anyone else could have picked it up. Felicity should have apologised to Oliver for putting both of them at risk when she ran into the police station.
Smittz -felicity had no combat experience when she went into a mob casino, none when she went to nanda parbat, or Russia or Merlyn global, she had none when they fought n*zi’s and aliens but all those times Oliver didn’t have a problem with it, he is literally changing the rules now because they have a son. Also, that tech was important and no one else was going to grab it, diggle told Lyla(who is trained & still needed help) to just leave it there and get out.
The last quadrant member is definitly relevant. His name is Cyrus Brodrick! In the rebirth comics hes the leader of the Ninth Circle (which is similar to the quadrant) but they had the Underground man, which are people that are "reborn" by being scorched by lava. Also this is no spoiler because you could see the names on the screen in the new team arrow bunker in episode 20.
Most likely the quadrants lackeys were already on Diaz's payroll without the other quadrant members knowing, that is literally what he has been doing all season long.
Oliver can't go to prison for being the Green Arrow because he's already been acquitted!? I believe it's called double jeopardy. I definitely think that Oliver might work with the FBI next season!
+Munzur Baba I hope so. As interesting a story as it would be to see Oliver in prison for most likely only the first couple of episodes (we all know he wouldn't stay long), I would rather have something unexpected!
not quite, he can still go to jail for perjury, there is also the fact that when you're acquitted by a judge instead of a jury, that decision can be appealed and a defacto retrial can occur.
+Nyraxx Gaming Well, I don't know much about the law, but everything you said sounds logical to me. I just want something more unexpected than him going to prison! I probably wouldn't mind if Oliver went to prison if he didn't have a son he barely knew who had just lost his mother year ago:(
yeah I agree. They should save the plotline in case Stephen Amell ever decides to leave Arrow, or they decide to cancel it, then william can be a spin off
I would love for season 7 to play off of Olivers concerns for having Felicity in the field and show some scenes where Oliver and/or Diggle/Lyla are training Felicity for basic field work. And then Felicity teaching oliver tech stuff...
Eric is my spirit animal. Felicity is right. They are married and must rely and trust on each other 100 percent . I'm glad Oliver came to his senses and realized he must also trust Felicity . She doesn't really get on the field much only when it is needed . This time it was a must . Sadly, Dragon got to the Helix Bunker and she couldn't finish the decoding. but we have one more episode . Can't wait for 6.23 . Arrow has been bad ass this season.
Things I questioned: 1. How exactly does someone have the balls to tell their wife they can't do something because they're a parent, when they're the stepmother of YOUR son? Just to be clear, I'm not saying step-parents aren't real parents. What I am saying is that it's ridiculous to act as if they have a greater parental obligation than the birth parent. 2. Those gunmen were sent to kill all of the heroes and their loved ones. So, how is it when you have multiple people behind Dinah with loaded guns pointed at her back, that you let her live long enough to say everything that she said and follow it up by bouncing sound waves off of the wall? I don't ever picture myself being a bad guy, but if I were, she would have been dead by the time she said "You know what". 3. Completely agree about the Quadrant. They talk them up like they're supposed to be so devious and powerful, and then they have them acting like the dumbest people ever. Diaz had already killed one of their group, and their big move is to walk right into HIS places of power to confront him? That's a case of terminal stupidity right there. 4. Ok, so the place was rigged to blow rather completely as we saw...eventually. But, when Oliver pushes the button, a single perfectly located blast sends Diaz flying, then the others wait long enough to give Oliver the time he needs to get Felicity back up and get out the door before going off? Seriously? They couldn't even have a bunch of other blasts going off in the vicinity as they desperately made their way out? Also, Oliver wasn't the one that set those charges. It wasn't his base. All Oliver knew is that the place was rigged to blow. How the hell is Oliver supposed to know that pushing that button has any chance of helping them? Couldn't they have spared a moment to show him seeing where that charge was?
Diaz suddenly became a very weak villain to me last night. Oh well. I see how Felicity is off the hook for doing pretty much what Laurel did in Season 1, running into a dangerous building. Other than that, she didn't bother me much at all. This episode was weaker than recent episodes, but it wasn't bad enough to put me off, I guess.
Its actually an elevation mask 2.0 not a gas mask and it is meant for training. Also when Diaz was talking with the mask on, from experience you don't sound normal.
I think Oliver was right on this particular situation, are we really pretending like Felicity isn't a liability in the field. She has no combat/weapons training and in the same episode she's arguing her point of being in the field, she almost gets shot. To me it came off as more of her feeling entitled to be there rather than being qualified.
I don't know about Oliver and Felicity's disagreement what I mean by that is it seem's to be leading up to something happening to her. We all know Lance will die because Paul is going to a new show. Oliver will end up in Prison is what I think. Oliver told Felicity that Lyla was a soldier but while that is true Felicity has helped the Team for years she shouldn't have went in without telling the Team but she really want's to be a part of the fight to. Doesn't make her wrong she is an adult that can make her own choices. All though we haven't seen Felicity train Emily Bett is well trained for on screen fighting since she has been doing training with Thomas Taylor for 5 years. Stephen Amell wants her to do a Ninja Warrior comp.
She was wrong, she put both Oliver and herself at risk. Oliver had to save her from being shot by Ricardo Diaz, in that moment someone else could have shot Oliver because he was distracted. Felicity made a stupid decision and should have apologised to Oliver.
Poll: I like the idea that Team Arrow works for the FBI traveling the country and Oliver went public as the Green Arrow. If he does go to jail however, I would love if they follow the Supermax storyline from the comics. If none of those I would choose other aka all hail beebo P.S. Does anybody know if Walmart Batman is a reference to something, or did Eric just say that randomly?
Did he even try calling his Kryptonian, speedster, breacher and time travel friends before going to the random federal agent who has been trying to arrest him for months? "Hey there guy who knows kung-fu and has paid off/blackmailed a bunch of cops and city officials, these are my friends Superman, Supergirl, Martian Manhunter, Miss Martian, Mon-El, Brainiac 5, Saturn Girl, Flash, Flash, Kid Flash, Jessie Quick, Vibe, Gypsy, Breacher, White Canary, Atom, Steel, John Constantine, Gideon, Ava, Hawkman, Hawkgirl, Heat Wave, Citizen Cold, Ray, Red Tornado, Vixen, Vixen, Vixen, Alex, Winn, Guardian, Lena, Harry, Caitlin, Pied Piper, Zari, King Solivar, Jonah Hex, Helen of Troy, King Arthur, Guinnevere..."
I realize it's a comic book story, but this whole story arc really acts like Star City operates independent of both its state and nation. With this much violence and corruption, Star City is bound to attract the attention of the governor, the neighboring states, and national interests (besides ARGUS, which seems to be unable to share the intelligence with any other Fed agency). In short, the city should be swarming with state and federal military forces to restore order. At least with the similar story elements in The Dark Knight Rises, the bad guys had a nuke with which they warned any outside help away.
Probably prison. But before the end Watson will die. So nobody knows of the agreement. I suppose everything will be back to normal to give new showrunner every option possible
Eric I love you but I do wish fans and reviewers would quit with the why don’t you just ask Barry and co for help. You can’t always rely on others to help and not to mention they have problems to they are dealing with. Plus we’d have no tv shows if they constantly just had each other come fix their issues.
Diaz is a child who keeps trying to convince himself he's not weak, really don't like him. It's pretty obvious Oliver could take him if he was less of a coward and stopped using his pawns for everything.
doesnt the fbi deal with crimes that cross statelines? isnt that what federal stands for? i feel like thats a good reason for them not being involved in things happening in star city
No one on any channel thinks its weird that Diaz spent months being cold and calculating and suddenly is the OPPOSITE with a chaotic non-plan??? Only the Quadrant woman is going to point it out???
Rosannasfriend oh I agree ..though ever since he burned that bully of his alive ,you have seen that he has moments of craziness that crack his calm Exterior ..I do think this should have been clearer ..he says the judge threw the case after so many months of planning that now he just wants to just get rid of him as quick as possible
Matthew Mabry I think he’s good ,not as good as Merlyn in season 1,and definitely not Slade and Prometheus but he’s definitely better then Ra’s and Darhk in season 4..I like his backstory ,him coming from nothing made him list for power and extremely ambitious and I think Kirk Acevedo is quite good
Right now, I feel that what he needs most to make him better is more fleshing out of his character. If he survives and makes it to be the main villain of next season, he should get this. After all, they have a lot to draw from the comics. But yeah, I understand all of y’alls opinions.
Wise Wolf Tony yeah. I get what your saying. I wish we could see a main villain play the role for more than just one season. And unfortunately, the Arrow directors did mention a few months back that they may not be able to use Deathstroke for a while, right around the time after Justice League came out. But, if they did decide to have Diaz in the role for two seasons and have Oliver sent to prison next episode, it could set the stakes for a great season of Arrow. That, or they may give us the Ninth Circle.
i would really recommend that you guys react to some of the content posted by Hero Fan Productions because his content really raises the bar for other channels that create the same content
I can't believe you guys aren't watching Gotham. It's the 3rd best Comic Book show on network tv, behind Shield and Black Lightning. I hope to see you guys reacting to it soon.
Wait if that drive was so important then there was an easy solution: BRING THE DRIVE TO ARGUS, ITS A GOVERNMENT BUILDING AND ITS SUPPOSED TO BE LIKE SUPER FORTIFIED!!!!!
Another thing, did she learn about the DA being on Diaz’s Payroll and maybe she decided to let Oliver take him down then she’ll get him, so that his conviction can’t be overturned when the DA goes to jail like happened with Adrian Chase.
Fun fact for you: Katie Cassidy WAS ACTUALLY in Taken lol. She played Liam Neeson's daughters friend that she went to Paris with lol and she also got taken in that movie. So Aaron wasn't wrong
I hate how people constantly tell oliver he is wrong when 90% of the time he is right and ends up apologizing
That's what this show has become, Oliver has to be wrong even when he's right.
Smittz it drives me nuts
TitanTerminator 66 i think theyre brainwashing him making him think hes wrong
Oliver pulling that RKO outta nowhere in the beginning.
I'm glad you posted that, I've been trying to figure out exactly what move that was, I knew I recognized it.
"Laurel got taken" that's funny cause katie was in the movie taken.
XblasertX BRUH 😂
XblasertX OMG I completely forgot she was in that movie
I actually liked the little felicity and Oliver story arc. It was over and finished I the episode and it was a great parallel with Dig and Lyla. I liked the difference in their marriages from the perspective of new and old, for lack of better words in my head at moment.
Eric's reaction to the cliffhanger lmao
Godamn. All I can say is that Arrow been tight for the past 6 weeks or so. Here’s hoping for a great season finale. Omar Barakat The next season will most likely be the Escape from Supermax storyline, especially considering that they name dropped it in this very episode.
Taimur Muggo Cool
The first half of season 3 was really good.
Trevon The Arrow Overall trash season cause everything was terrible after Oliver got beat by R’as
As soon as i heard that line "You know what's great about soundwaves" I immediately said they bounce and i was Fucking right.
The federal government never cares in these shows for some reason
Why doesn't Oliver claim that he and his team are agents of Argus? That should cover them. It's like Supergirl working for the DEO. Also, what can the FBI do that Argus (what seems to be an equivalent of Shield) can't.
I presume because the FBI operate under the jurisdiction of the Department of Justice, whereas ARGUS is likely under the Department of Defence therefore they may have leeway operating on US soil with regards to defence/homeland security matters but when it comes to law enforcement have little power. Think of them as part CIA/part NSA who have no law enforcement function domestically.
Bill Watson they did say they didn’t have jurisdiction to arrest Diaz
Bill probably has the right idea here, although on the show the actual details we have are murky at best.
Director of Argus Lyla itself told numerous times in the epsiode that Argus is not a *law enforcement agency*
Damn, Diaz is a coward, who only dares to face Oliver when he is weakened.
Anatoly is the biggest threat, although he is working in the shadows, since he is playing both Diaz and Oliver.
(Oliver With The RKO!!! Out of Nowhere!...(Jim Ross) Omg it Killed Him🎯🔥😂👊
I gotta say it, Arrow season 6 is better than Flash Season 4. Don't @ me.
Tru tru
I am gonna @ you and say that you are right
The Flash Unlimited you are right ..I think Flash has been decent but Arrow has been better
It was really only 5 episodes and only 3 of those were grating to me, so definitely not 'most' of the second half. I was actually hoping at least some of NTA was gone for good but oh well. That said, I could have done without that storyline, but everything since then and before has been good enough I can forgive it.
This show did the worst this season
"Is that a gas mask?"
"Yeah, looks like it"
"For what?"
"For gas."
hahaha xD
Oliver telling Watson that he is the Green Arrow is sure not gonna end well for him, hes definitely going to jail, he may be a hero now but he was a murderer before and now hes gotta do the time for it
i know Diaz is "divisive" to say the least but i like his character's backstory of coming from nothing and people treating him like nothing thus never wanting to be treated like that again thus having alot of ambition for power and respect and i think Kirk Acevedo is quite good in the role, i think Diaz is good.
Only gripe i had with the episode was Oliver apologising to Felicity for not trusting her ability to keep herself safe. She wasn't able to keep herself safe, she would have been killed by Diaz if Oliver didn't save her.
Doesn't double jeopardy apply?

Also, that tech was important and no one else was going to grab it, diggle told Lyla(who is trained & still needed help) to just leave it there and get out.
Gotta love those villains who keep killing allies but barely do any damage to the heroes
Flash takes notes this how *season's penultimate episode is done*
Most likely the quadrants lackeys were already on Diaz's payroll without the other quadrant members knowing, that is literally what he has been doing all season long.
Oliver can't go to prison for being the Green Arrow because he's already been acquitted!? I believe it's called double jeopardy. I definitely think that Oliver might work with the FBI next season!
That actually feels like a cool way to freshen up the show.
They should save the plotline in case Stephen Amell ever decides to leave Arrow, or they decide to cancel it, then william can be a spin off
did Rick ever came back with the grapes. laughed so hard at that.
I would love for season 7 to play off of Olivers concerns for having Felicity in the field and show some scenes where Oliver and/or Diggle/Lyla are training Felicity for basic field work. And then Felicity teaching oliver tech stuff...
Why Oliver don't just ask for some help for Barry instead of asking help for a woman that wants him on prison? 😂
And it was my birthday yesterday and Diaz getting blown up from the back was the best birthday gift i could have gotten
13:00 Get rekt Diaz 😂
'Theres a keyblade right there' YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! Gotta love KH
Things I questioned:
1. How exactly does someone have the balls to tell their wife they can't do something because they're a parent, when they're the stepmother of YOUR son? Seriously? They couldn't even have a bunch of other blasts going off in the vicinity as they desperately made their way out? Also, Oliver wasn't the one that set those charges. It wasn't his base. Aaron you crack me up!!! Great action packed episode but with some eye-rolling moments. Eric is right, the quadrant is lazy and so are the writers.
Can we have an entire reaction episode consisting of Eric reacting as different characters?
Its actually an elevation mask 2.0 not a gas mask and it is meant for training. Also when Diaz was talking with the mask on, from experience you don't sound normal.
organizations across the globe deploy on site electronic specialists often, many do not have combat qualifications.
I think Oliver was right on this particular situation, are we really pretending like Felicity isn't a liability in the field. She has no combat/weapons training and in the same episode she's arguing her point of being in the field, she almost gets shot. @16:28 does Eric say ‘ Evalate ‘ lol
Diaz is such a good villain.
Maybe the flash drive has names of quadrant hechmen on payroll when they were introduced he could have gathered enough low level support beforehand
8:09 is it bad that I was routing for Diaz?
I don't know about Oliver and Felicity's disagreement what I mean by that is it seem's to be leading up to something happening to her. We all know Lance will die because Paul is going to a new show. Smittz lol
Smittz
Cry me a river...
+Juju Mpe Okay
What if Watson's second condition is for him to turn in Anatoly? Then we'd have an impossible situation.
I agree with Oliver ...Felicity shouldn't have been in the field especially causing Oliver to shift his focus from the battle
Eric is right. The Quadrant sucks.
The kid who plays William is not a good actor. But this season has really kicked it into gear.
Poll: I like the idea that Team Arrow works for the FBI traveling the country and Oliver went public as the Green Arrow. If he does go to jail however, I would love if they follow the Supermax storyline from the comics. If none of those I would choose other aka all hail beebo
P.S. Does anybody know if Walmart Batman is a reference to something, or did Eric just say that randomly?
Bruh Arrow is so damn good I wait every week for this and flash s4 is some doodooo I mean it should at least be getting good near the finale
Donuts?? Hahahahaha
I was happy when they burned the bunker so they can get another one for next season
Anybody see the hearthstone in the background in this episode
31:09 *lol* 😆😆🤣🤣😂
Even Supernatural now has that one base now they reuse. The Men of Letters place. I’m several, seasons behind so I suppose it could be gone now.
No it's not
I realize it's a comic book story, but this whole story arc really acts like Star City operates independent of both its state and nation. I love William lol 'KICK HIS ASS" yesssssss
5:25 We don't care, what they meant
It’s all about publicity for Watson.... she wants the achievement of putting the green arrow behind bars....
Probably prison. But before the end Watson will die. So nobody knows of the agreement. I suppose everything will be back to normal to give new showrunner every option possible
THAT'S WHAT I THINK IS GOING TO HAPPEN.
Maarten Vangeel
arrow > the flash.
flash > reverse flash
The quadrant, more like the Duo😃
the bi-rant
Eric I love you but I do wish fans and reviewers would quit with the why don’t you just ask Barry and co for help. You can’t always rely on others to help and not to mention they have problems to they are dealing with. Plus we’d have no tv shows if they constantly just had each other come fix their issues.
Oh snap
Where was my notification?
Diaz is a child who keeps trying to convince himself he's not weak, really don't like him. It's pretty obvious Oliver could take him if he was less of a coward and stopped using his pawns for everything.
doesnt the fbi deal with crimes that cross statelines? isnt that what federal stands for?
i feel like thats a good reason for them not being involved in things happening in star city
It's nice to know that the FBI prioritizes finding out Oliver's identity over saving an entire city and its people.
I'm thinking Raiza is on Diaz payroll
So you're thinking William will be kidnapped again? That would be the 3rd season in a row that William is kidnapped.
No one on any channel thinks its weird that Diaz spent months being cold and calculating and suddenly is the OPPOSITE with a chaotic non-plan??? Only the Quadrant woman is going to point it out???
Rosannasfriend he’s always been unhinged ,this situation is just pushing him more
the transition from in-control to not-in-control was not well demonstrated.
Rosannasfriend oh I agree ..though ever since he burned that bully of his alive ,you have seen that he has moments of craziness that crack his calm
Exterior ..I do think this should have been clearer ..he says the judge threw the case after so many months of planning that now he just wants to just get rid of him as quick as possible
You guys should react to black clover
Alright, I need to know. Which of you like Ricardo Diaz as a villain and which of you don’t? I say yes.
Matthew Mabry I think he’s good ,not as good as Merlyn in season 1,and definitely not Slade and Prometheus but he’s definitely better then Ra’s and Darhk in season 4..I like his backstory ,him coming from nothing made him list for power and extremely ambitious and I think Kirk Acevedo is quite good
he lost me last night.
I don't like him. He's just ridiculous compared to what we had so far...
The scene where Felicity is asking Diggle's wife about marriage, had me rolling my eyes.
i would really recommend that you guys react to some of the content posted by Hero Fan Productions because his content really raises the bar for other channels that create the same content
wish you guys would react to gotham, its so fucking good compared to arrow
I can't believe you guys aren't watching Gotham. It's the 3rd best Comic Book show on network tv, behind Shield and Black Lightning. I hope to see you guys reacting to it soon.
she needs a suit xD
first
Diaz wasnt calm, hes losing it. And ive seen him yell plenty.
Why not call the legends or a part of them. Last time they were on a beach hihi. They could help😉🖒
