It's good to see Mur again. Your Dad is a great guy Dan and I hope to see him more often. On a side note the door/window crank handle clip removal part of this video was very painful to watch. I worked in auto salvage for 20yrs and we never used a door clip tool (or a cut off wheel) to take off GM door and window crank handles. Slide a shop rag behind the handle, move or turn the handle while holding the rag stationary, and the clip will pop right off. The shop rag method accomplishes 2 things: 1. The rag grabs and traps the clip so it doesn't fly off and end up in Narnia, 2. It protects the door panel (if it's still any good) from getting damaged. Best part is it don't cost a dime. A piece of cloth, a rag, and old sock, or a towel will do the same thing for $0.00.
Great to see Mur again! Good thing you have someone who knows what he's doing to help you. My Dad used to say he taught me everything he knew and I still didn't know nothing. Then I would say, "That explains a lot". Thanks and we'll see you next time.
Murr should think about recording small clips/updates of stuff he's done to his Bricklin, or other projects, send file to Danni & have it included in DD's regular videos. He's got plenty of fans on DD's channel.
Cool video. So happy to see Mur busting your chops and you protesting said broken chops. LOL! Dan, that '55 is suhweet! Have fun and enjoy your time with Mur. Love DD Speed Shop.
I think I can speak for all of us, we love your dad! Spend every second you can with him. I lost mine in 1994, he was only 48. I'm 54 now and have missed and needed him more than I could have ever imagined. Working on cars was our thing. So good top see you guys together again in the shop.
Finally a video description that makes sense. I bet alot of people took a guest guess in their mind before the vid even started. lol No hack jobs with Murr.
That little Belair is a sharp car! I would most definitely put a paint job on that car. The color combination of the blue and white makes that car pop.
An easy way to get those clips off is to take a clean red grease rag and slide it between the handle and the door panel catch the clip and give it a yank and it will come off in the rag !!
Murs there!! So happy for the extra help you guys are getting!❤ And your hair looks cute Dani, you must have used some of Dans conditioner, for the extra volume 😂
Great to see Murr. 4 door looks and sounds great need to call it the grocery getter. Putting it back the way it came with a D.D. speed shop hot rod touches!!
Oh my God it's Murr, do you realise how famous you are? We even in rural Western Australia bow down to your celebrity!! How lucky we are to even see you on TH-cam! Good to see you again Murray your presence in Dan's videos completes the family. Tony from Rural Western Australia 🇦🇺 🦘
Just want to say hi to everyone and Dan cherish the time you have with your dad I miss my dad but I have great and wonderful memories with him and I will always cherish them as long as I live and I thank God and give Him all the praise for a wonderful mom and dad. God bless and have a blessed evening and night. Pete Allison Sr from Louisville KY
Murr is in the HOUSE! Long time ago I suggested Thrush mufflers because my friend had them on his camaro in the late 70s and early 80s I know they sound great! I love thrush mufflers. Door panels look so good Murr did a nice job on them.
Use a simple shop rag to get those handle clips off. Works better than the tool. Slide it between the handle and the panel like buffing a shoe if you can picture that.
Mur-o-matic on the like button! At this point, y'all should just get a uhaul and bring all the parts, tools, and stuff from Winnipeg over to the new digs. You'd be saving moneys in the end.
I’m ready for this 4door to be driving,it’s pretty nice for a 70 ish year old car. A four door can be nice, you open the back door and you get right in. You don’t have to fold the seat forward. Have a good day Dan and Dani
It's very nice to see the family involved It's very enjoyable And it's really nice to see your dad involved with you on your TH-cam channel And your wife makes an absolutelyAnd your wife makes an absolutely fantastic camera girl Danny you and Daniel and Myrrh I'll be looking forward for the next video thank you again keep up the good work
Watching you weld on those fenderwell headers takes me back to 1966 , i was 5 , dad worked at A&B muffler and custom shop in FtWorth, Texas, they built fenderwell headers for tri5s from scratch, used 2" tubes and 4" collectors , single bolt header caps pointed to the ground, exhaust pipes were welded to the side of collectors, it took less than a minute to uncap both sides , they sounded so good uncapped
Older than Dad, lol, GM door crank handles... to reassemble. The spring clips are preassembled on the cranks with a touch of grease. Roll windows up, position the crank as desired. Push on crank over beveled shaft. Till clicks.
I have a super easy way to pop the clip off of the inside window cranks you take a standard red shop rag and with a hand on each end of the rag slide it behind the handle and saw it back and forth until clip is removed it take 5 seconds
Yes Dan back in the early 80s I found the Hush Thrush mufflers that made the 66 El Camino I had sound great and kept the cops cool . I had dome pipe put on exit infront of rear tires , and when i went for cruise night I took those off and put on regular Thrush just hangimg under the floor pan bolted to the collector , the wife hated it was so loud but i loved it !!! Woke that 327 up very nice .
All the stuff Mur wants to organize, Dan files in the dump pile!!! I love it!!!
We all love your Dad . He’s a great guy.
The best help is dad's help! Just finished filming a 24 hour build challenge with my old man! Enjoy your time together!
You are absolutely right.

Now I know where that screw went !
Narnia !
I learned the same trick from a junkyard owner over 30 yrs ago my grandkids will learn this from my sons and daughter
I now know a Dad who didn’t give his son a good whack on the backside when he needed it! 😂
Great to see Mur again! Good thing you have someone who knows what he's doing to help you. My Dad used to say he taught me everything he knew and I still didn't know nothing. Then I would say, "That explains a lot". Thanks and we'll see you next time.
Why don’t you reference you dad by his first name like Dan does lmfao
Good to see Mr Murr.
Glad to see your Pops hanging out with you for awhile. Enjoy your Parents as long as you can..
Hey guys it's good to see your dad at your new place 😊
Murr should think about recording small clips/updates of stuff he's done to his Bricklin, or other projects, send file to Danni & have it included in DD's regular videos. He's got plenty of fans on DD's channel.

More Murr! I hope you convince your parents to move closer to you, I love the banter. Great video as always, thanks guys.
An old shop rag works pretty good for those window crank clips, in a pinch.

Being doing that for years
For Dan The dirty shop rag will be just fine... 🤣 We all know it, just to get us typing our objections... He will use the dirty one. 🤣
It is just great to see Mur again. I like the way he takes on the finnicky jobs that need to be done to make a car complete. (Nice hair Dannie.) 🇨🇦
Great to see Mur he is a part of D&D Speed Shop. Looking forward to seeing more of him in the future. Oh and yes the 55 sounds good.

My three favorites: Gold, Frankensense and Murrrrrr!😁
Gotta love it. Words of wisdom from the Surprise Celebrity Guest. "I thought the 3 inch exhaust was a little overkill for a 305".
It is. But it's ready for any other motor down the road
It's the "Murminator" !!! Nice to see him visit !!

Watching Dan weld that exhaust reminds me of Murder Nova's comment on Blasphemi's exhaust, "Looks like Ray Charles welded that with his feet!"

Great to see Murr again
Thanks for the video. Good to see your Dad.
Welcome back Mur, great to see you back again. Don’t be such a stranger.
There's nothing like a dad telling then showing you you've been doing it wrong your whole life 😅
I miss the sit downs you and your dad use to have. I really enjoyed the stories and seeing you all enjoy it.
Yeah same here
Not his dad it’s Mur
With the famous guests and precision measuring this whole living in a mansion thing has brought DD Speed shop to a new level!
;)
Great to see the old man !! Lol
Awesome. Good to see mur👍

old Chevy door handles come off easy with a shop rag worked back and forth where the clip is it will catch it and pull it off for you. Easy Peasy...

Great to have Mur back in the shop. Time for another podcast sponsored by your “ED” friends? Cheers!! 😎
Love 💕 see Muri!!
It is very good to see your dad again, hope to see more of him. Ooh yay good video to lol😁😁👍👍
Header tip. Use a steat doughnut gasket instead of a collector gasket and it want leak and give you adjustment on your pipe. I hate collector gaskets
It's hard to beat the good times of working with your dad. 👍👍🇨🇦
Making more memories with dad, hope he is charging you dinner for all the help
Putting it towards the corvette he's working off lol
Murr, the voice of reason. Exhaust sounds great. I like the tri-five door squeak!
I have a super easy way to pop the clip off of the inside window cranks you take a standard red shop rag and with a hand on each end of the rag slide it behind the handle and saw it back and forth until clip is removed it take 5 seconds
Thank the Lord for Mur. I'm so happy to see the father and son team and Danni also, of course
Great to see Mur.
Great job Dan’s Dad 😂 I love those thrush welded mufflers, they sound so much better than flowmasters
Dan says a workbench would be nice but he has a perfectly good tri five right in front of him.😂
Good to see Mur …Take the car out of the box, and play with it , it’ll be much more enjoyable..thanks for the vid guys !
That's how I see it too.
It's good to see the old man.
Enjoy the wisdom of Murr!
Good to see you’re dad
Nice job Mur. Helping him out. Pretty soon you are going to start running the 55 Chevy down the road. Keep up the great work.
Hi mur. Great to see you.

Woo Hoo! Good to see you again, Mur. I hate the sweat equity bed and breakfast. Don't work to hard.😊
Mur sporting the D/F Dog shirt! It's like two celebs in one!🤩
More Dad... Fantastic. Great Family.
