It's good to see Mur again. Your Dad is a great guy Dan and I hope to see him more often. On a side note the door/window crank handle clip removal part of this video was very painful to watch. I worked in auto salvage for 20yrs and we never used a door clip tool (or a cut off wheel) to take off GM door and window crank handles. Slide a shop rag behind the handle, move or turn the handle while holding the rag stationary, and the clip will pop right off. The shop rag method accomplishes 2 things: 1. The rag grabs and traps the clip so it doesn't fly off and end up in Narnia, 2. It protects the door panel (if it's still any good) from getting damaged. Best part is it don't cost a dime. A piece of cloth, a rag, and old sock, or a towel will do the same thing for $0.00.
I think I can speak for all of us, we love your dad! Spend every second you can with him. I lost mine in 1994, he was only 48. I'm 54 now and have missed and needed him more than I could have ever imagined. Working on cars was our thing. So good top see you guys together again in the shop.
Oh my God it's Murr, do you realise how famous you are? We even in rural Western Australia bow down to your celebrity!! How lucky we are to even see you on TH-cam! Good to see you again Murray your presence in Dan's videos completes the family. Tony from Rural Western Australia 🇦🇺 🦘
Great to see Mur again! Good thing you have someone who knows what he's doing to help you. My Dad used to say he taught me everything he knew and I still didn't know nothing. Then I would say, "That explains a lot". Thanks and we'll see you next time.
Cool video. So happy to see Mur busting your chops and you protesting said broken chops. LOL! Dan, that '55 is suhweet! Have fun and enjoy your time with Mur. Love DD Speed Shop.
Glad to see the old man again. I can say that because I too am the Old Man in my bunch, We always say we are making memories if never get anything else done, Family time is great time
Murs there!! So happy for the extra help you guys are getting!❤ And your hair looks cute Dani, you must have used some of Dans conditioner, for the extra volume 😂
Murr is in the HOUSE! Long time ago I suggested Thrush mufflers because my friend had them on his camaro in the late 70s and early 80s I know they sound great! I love thrush mufflers. Door panels look so good Murr did a nice job on them.
Just want to say hi to everyone and Dan cherish the time you have with your dad I miss my dad but I have great and wonderful memories with him and I will always cherish them as long as I live and I thank God and give Him all the praise for a wonderful mom and dad. God bless and have a blessed evening and night. Pete Allison Sr from Louisville KY
It's very nice to see the family involved It's very enjoyable And it's really nice to see your dad involved with you on your TH-cam channel And your wife makes an absolutelyAnd your wife makes an absolutely fantastic camera girl Danny you and Daniel and Myrrh I'll be looking forward for the next video thank you again keep up the good work
An easy way to get those clips off is to take a clean red grease rag and slide it between the handle and the door panel catch the clip and give it a yank and it will come off in the rag !!
Older than Dad, lol, GM door crank handles... to reassemble. The spring clips are preassembled on the cranks with a touch of grease. Roll windows up, position the crank as desired. Push on crank over beveled shaft. Till clicks.
Watching you weld on those fenderwell headers takes me back to 1966 , i was 5 , dad worked at A&B muffler and custom shop in FtWorth, Texas, they built fenderwell headers for tri5s from scratch, used 2" tubes and 4" collectors , single bolt header caps pointed to the ground, exhaust pipes were welded to the side of collectors, it took less than a minute to uncap both sides , they sounded so good uncapped
Murr should think about recording small clips/updates of stuff he's done to his Bricklin, or other projects, send file to Danni & have it included in DD's regular videos. He's got plenty of fans on DD's channel.
Use a simple shop rag to get those handle clips off. Works better than the tool. Slide it between the handle and the panel like buffing a shoe if you can picture that.
Finally a video description that makes sense. I bet alot of people took a guest guess in their mind before the vid even started. lol No hack jobs with Murr.
That little Belair is a sharp car! I would most definitely put a paint job on that car. The color combination of the blue and white makes that car pop.
It's Mur My Dad died when I was 8, I've been on my own ever sense I learned by doing it, I had no one to guild me, but myself I did Ok, I'm still Alive @ a Happy 70 thx folks
I’m ready for this 4door to be driving,it’s pretty nice for a 70 ish year old car. A four door can be nice, you open the back door and you get right in. You don’t have to fold the seat forward. Have a good day Dan and Dani
Great to see Murr. 4 door looks and sounds great need to call it the grocery getter. Putting it back the way it came with a D.D. speed shop hot rod touches!!
Yes Dan back in the early 80s I found the Hush Thrush mufflers that made the 66 El Camino I had sound great and kept the cops cool . I had dome pipe put on exit infront of rear tires , and when i went for cruise night I took those off and put on regular Thrush just hangimg under the floor pan bolted to the collector , the wife hated it was so loud but i loved it !!! Woke that 327 up very nice .
We all love your Dad . He’s a great guy.

I learned lots of proceedures helping my Dad with his projects. Lots of colorful words too! Miss ya, Dad. ;)
Gotta love it. Words of wisdom from the Surprise Celebrity Guest. "I thought the 3 inch exhaust was a little overkill for a 305".
It is. But it's ready for any other motor down the road
Murs there!! So happy for the extra help you guys are getting!❤ And your hair looks cute Dani, you must have used some of Dans conditioner, for the extra volume 😂

An old shop rag works pretty good for those window crank clips, in a pinch.
Murr is in the HOUSE! Long time ago I suggested Thrush mufflers because my friend had them on his camaro in the late 70s and early 80s I know they sound great! I love thrush mufflers. Door panels look so good Murr did a nice job on them.

With the famous guests and precision measuring this whole living in a mansion thing has brought DD Speed shop to a new level!
;)
Header tip. Use a steat doughnut gasket instead of a collector gasket and it want leak and give you adjustment on your pipe. I hate collector gaskets

It's the "Murminator" !!! Nice to see him visit !!
I'm liking this car more and more with each video. 😊👍
Watching Dan weld that exhaust reminds me of Murder Nova's comment on Blasphemi's exhaust, "Looks like Ray Charles welded that with his feet!"
Mur! Yay!!! Dani! You're still adorable!
That little Belair is a sharp car! I would most definitely put a paint job on that car. The color combination of the blue and white makes that car pop.
Here we go again. It’s time for another great video 👍👍

My three favorites: Gold, Frankensense and Murrrrrr!😁
Great job Dan’s Dad 😂 I love those thrush welded mufflers, they sound so much better than flowmasters
old Chevy door handles come off easy with a shop rag worked back and forth where the clip is it will catch it and pull it off for you. Easy Peasy...
Enjoying having the time to spend with your dad i miss my dad everyday I'm not a fan of 4 doors but the car is worth saving
More Dad... Fantastic. Great Family.
