By personal experience, maybe because I use glasses that don't block that much blue light, I'm still struggling to go to sleep, but yeah, the fatigue in my eyes, duuuuuuude, I don't feel any, is actually uncomfortable not to wear my glasses.
I bought a new monitor and in the day its good and all but at night, even though I keep my lights on, the monitor gets very uncomfortable to look at, do you think these glasses would help me?
@@alanraymundo I use the regular ones for the office, in your case, first of all I suggest you get in contact with a professional, second, the ones chris use seem to fit your needs in my opinion.
We are not blinking enough. When we stare at the screen for a long time our eyes get dry and they get irritated, so that would be the reason for most of us having these issues. I don't know how credible it is, but I've watched "Why you don't need blue light lenses" by CBS, it's a food for thought at least.
Blue light glasses aren’t meant to protect your eyes, they’re meant to help your melatonin levels well, because of over exposure to blue light there’s less melatonin and this affects your sleep cycle.
Is there's difference between The office or The regular glasses And the gaming glasses and which ones you uses Right now sorry for the disturbing like paparazzi
Blue light doesn’t remain confined neatly in a solitary device. You’ll notice this in a city. It’s always on, invariably at least partially lit, and the illumination drowns out the appearance of the night sky. The sheer volume contributes to what’s called light pollution.
Just dont game at least 30 mins before bed time :D I play video games but knowing it makes me aware to plan my bed time before hand. Even tho if i play more, i will wait at least 30 mins before going to sleep. By doing this i never had issues with my sleep :D
I have dry eyes and I was using eyesight glasses since 17years and I purchased eyesight glasses with blue light protection and it helped me alot by using smartphone I don't feel pain or watery eyes with blue light glasses.
Or buy a good monitor that lets you reduce/lower the blue light up to 50%, same effect as the glasses does... great for people that actually have to use glasses.
Yes, you can also get blue light in your prescripted glasses like how you can get ones with sunglasses. Idk how much the monitor is, but it sounds like a good idea
Idk why, but me and few of my friends see colors different with blue-blur glasses. Like yello looks like green, and red looks like pink. But yea i conform with others that the color i see without glasses is the actual color, so i think its just something to do with the bluelight censor lens.
I saw a study saying yellow/orange light actually activates us and makes us awake and alert because it resembles the sun maybe think it was done on animals/mice
You’re right, red light is ‘better’ for right before bed, but also the sun does output a lot of blue light which is why we shouldn’t directly look at the sun. It has to do with wavelengths and how it affects our melatonin production
Hey, I have been wanting to buy some of those recently but I just wanted to know how yellow it makes everything. You said in the video that they make everything a lil bit more yellow and I wanted to know if it’s bad, or if it’s barely noticeable.
I just bought some blue light night glasses last Saturday they just came in today and I tried them out. So it makes white look kinda yellow or a light-dark gray, and pink looks kinda red, white skin colors look more tan and besides that, every other color just looks a bit darker.
@@HDZ_ kinda yellow color to everything .... grass isn’t as dark green as it really is it’s more of a bright green with gold tint ... whites are not white they are almost like a light golden pretty annoying .... and they reflect purple marks into ur lenses that u can actualy see purple dots and purple marks

so wrong! on so many levels, I use them on work and at home, day - mid - night doesn't matter, hell on work you have LED room lights they are 2400, 4200, 6500 kelvins they also emit blue light + monitor, only scenario that I would accept is monitor near window on full sunny day
Because they didn't pay me to say something specific about it. The effect of blue light glasses is not a controversial topic mate. But you don't have to believe anything I'm saying of course

It doesn't help with eye strain. Do the 20/20/20....every 20 minutes of staring at a screen, focus on something 20 feet away, for 20 seconds. That helps relax the eyes. Try to remember to blink since we don't do it often enough when we are focused.

Placebo effect. I’m not sure how blue light can stress your eyes. Unless you are looking at super bright screens like in the medical field. Like doctors etc.

And turning off the blue light directly from the monitor or windows 10 has the same effect?
It has it and many monitors have a comfort view. It's not bad but still, gives strain
