I definitely did not expect you to review this speaker. Just received mine in the mail a few days ago. It’s the most amazing speaker I’ve ever heard in this price range. The hype is real, there’s currently no competition for it. I believe soundcore just started a war within the $200 speaker range which is a good thing. We’ll be seeing competitors very soon
This is an extremely comprehensive and informative video review of the x600 I have watched, and I have watched many my friend. Love the culture of Singapore , been there twice and would love to visit you guys again 💕
Wow with the EQ you talked about has made me believe that it is not just hype, as some guy said they were paid to say good things, but you made me see the real proof that the speaker is great. Thanks
I have the x600 and I got it early for $150! It's the best speaker I've heard for $150. Deep bass and clear highs. Spatial makes a lot of difference! You have to hear it❤ good 👍
I just got mine this morning..man it is awesome.. i’m not a music person but .. i started messing with the eq… full band EQ up and down and left right.. bass is not the best to be honest but omg ..i’m loving it .i’m gonna custom for movie night ..
I have this and I agree with Peter’s review. Listening to 70s music is like discovering the songs all over again. Not only do I hear stereo separation, but with some songs on Apple Music, you can place instruments beyond the left and right sides of the speakers even if the songs are not labeled as “spacial” or “lossless” music. When I listened to Louis Armstrong’s “What a Wonderful World” I immediately heard the tap of the drumstick on a rim beyond the right side speaker. And while other speakers are designed to pump out maximum bass, this speaker is the brightest, clearest and most pleasing Bluetooth speaker I’ve ever owned. I even tested the X600 against my stereo-paired Anker Soundcore Rave Neos butted-up together, angled to the left and right and it couldn’t compare when it comes to clarity and stereo separation. Mind you, if I place the Rave Neos on opposite sides of the room, they sound great - better stereo separation and bigger bass, but still not as bright even with custom EQ settings. But I look forward to a sale in the future so I can make a stereo pair out of two X600s. But it’s really not necessary.
Excellent video. Thank you. I am in the market for a blue tooth speaker and was leaning toward the Bose Sound link Flex until I heard about this. I wonder what your thoughts would be as well.
I just got it for 199 canadian dollars. I realy enjoyed your video. You explanations were like what an engineer would do...not just putting hip hop music like other reviewers...and going yo yo yo.... i just got the speaker yesterday and i love it. What do you think of the x500
Hey Peter, I have a small room with a good tv, can this be used as a "soundbar"? I don't want to spend much in a sound system right now, I was thinking in a sonos five, but 5his one is less than half price, let me know your thoughts, thank you
you mentioned LDAC works better with android or is it android gets the best out of it? how about IOS? would it also work the magic with this X600? cheers
Pete, 300’s (movie/ atmos wise) sound way different since today’s update… and I mean that in a very bad way! They sound very underwhelming to say the least.
Engaging BASS-UP turns the bass up too much for my taste. BASS-UP and features like it always seem like gimmicks to sway novice audio consumers. It's great to have an equalizer with that amount of flexibility though. If BASS-UP was part of the equalizer, it'd be kind of cool. I don't think we need a dedicated button for it on the device though.

Another great informative video. I put that speaker in my “want to buy “ list.
I am still trying to figure out how to remove that handle. Non destructively.
@@PeterPee I guess the handle is good for the beach , pool or outdoors. Also to mounted on a wall. Who knows.

I've seen 6 revies on this X600. Peter yours the absolute 👍🏼. Thank you very much

Thanks for the video Peter. I have paired 2, and in a large room or garden they sound fantastic.
Great video, still looking forward to era 100 surround best setting video. 🙂
Trying to get to it sometime. I need to show the Era 100 some love. But I have been so busy...
I actually own 2 of these. Pairing them up and putting them across the room is a mindblowing effect. Audio is played inside you head or smtn, idk😵💫

Is it easy to pair 2 of these speakers???
What would be the best way to play hi-res using 2 of these speakers? Just a 3.5mm Y-splitter to both of these?
Can't seem to find it in stock in Singapore though.
Have you tested out just one of the Era 300 for spatial audio? How does that compare, sound wise?
Does stereo pair sound better than just 1 unit ?

Apple does not support any kind of high quality protocol like ldac or aptx. Apple being shit as usual

Yes, you are right Sony BT speakers are so bad
no way i spend over 200bux for it
Android only? Ew.
No la. It will work with iOS. Just that with Android, you unlock LDAC. Apple doesn't support LDAC.
You know having an iPhone doesn't make you special right?
Tell me you are American without telling me 💀
