Yeah, good idea. Maybe I’ll give it another try. Also amount of coil windings make a huge difference in frequency response. I did a diaphragm with 5 times the windings and it got very low frequency response.

You could take a tweeter coil or headphone coil. But then you wonder if you just use the whole thing lol
that might make a cool effect mic if you amplified it a bit more, maybe run it through a pedal or two as well?
or maybe an analog spring reverb...

I wonder if you used fewer spokes, if it would be more sensitive. I would say half it until you get down to 3 or 4 spokes.

So maybe some thinner guage wire too?
