The problem is that Tear play on turn 0, you don't even have chance to stablish a board, they will interrupt you before you can negate something

I figured the only chance I had at beating Tear was whooping the duelists ass in real life so I smacked the Tear player thinking he was just a soft skinny white dude, turns out he was a trainer in grappling and muy thai and he literally tossed me out the locals like Uncle Phil used to do Jazz in Fresh Price so now not only did I lose the match but I'm banned from locals and everyone saw me get my ass beat.
TL:DR f@#$ Tearlements.
I got an idea. Skill Drain, Soul Drain, and Mind Drain. Then we can go back to playing Blue Eyes Beatdown. 😂Or Banisher of the Radiance, Banisher of the Light backed by Moon Mirror Shield. Or Dimensional Shifter, Dimensional Fissure. Which is basically resorting to control style play/stun deck playstyle. Toll Hike and Summoning Curse also stops attacks because it rips cards from opponents hand and can't attack. Aroma Jar is good in a control deck like this. Maybe some Lava Golems and Volcanic Queen too for burn or Sphere Mode. Not sure if Tear runs links to out the Golem and Volcanic queens or multiples. Their deck looks pretty stacked on boss monsters.

@@Shinde425 holy crap I haven't even ever heard of that one. 😂I feel like I'm going in the crypt for ways to counter this deck. But it's kind of fun honestly discovering random cards. I found another cool one called Ordeal of a Traveler. Your opponent has a 66% chance of bouncing their card back to hand. If it's a Lava Golem or Kaiju it bounces back to your hand pretty cool card actually. 😃

@@Shinde425 I just made a huge discovery on the simulators Toll Hike+Banisher of Radiance is a compete attack lockdown. Because of Toll Hikes wording "Must" send to GY and Banisher of Radiance wont allow to send to GY. 😳I was trying to attack with banisher even with a card in hand it wouldn't let me. 😂Perfect burn strategy.

Reasons why those don't work against ishizu Tear:
1)Neko: Ishizu Tear can make boards on their end face and your turn.
2)Dimesion Shifter: You got to pray that they don't have Herald of orange light.
3)Dimensioal fissure, Macro cosmos and all other spell and trap cards in the video: They are going 2nd cards which is too late by then, plus they will side backrow removal even if they lose the 1st match.
4)Bestial: They only prevent 1 fusion summon.
5)Herald of arc light: Which deck will summon it, also you can just run over it and they can just beat you before you even summon it on your turn or just return it to the extra deck.
Most of these aren’t even responses to be fair. Your argument is “they’ll draw the out”
Every card has a counter, so do counters to counters. The video isn’t about what one card shuts out and beats them, because they otherwise wouldn’t be tier 0. These are cards that deal with the fundamental aspect of the strategy in the best way possible, which is the point.
Spright can easily summon Herald arc of Light just by running a single Hop Ear Squadron
@@balkhani5051 So my argument is draw the out. But the mentioned cards you need to use to counter the deck don't need to be drawn? You are basically saying that it's more possible to draw the engine for the the counter than the deck you are trying to counter, drawing their cards.
The big issue with Bystials is that they lose to themselves. If they go into their full package you can often cripple them by using just the 2-3 handtrap ones against full decks trying to run them. Even worse, if you're on a deck with mixed types vs. a dragon focused one, summoning Magnamhut(whether your own or theirs) lets you skip the Nemeses Flag middleman and just search Eschatos during the end phase and say goodbye to dragons forever once you bring it out.

What if we get more support cards that support certain things. For example, the ishizu cards help control the GY, and yusei cards for example could facilitate any synchro summon. Something like that

One thing I’m doing with Ghoti is I’m trying to set up so I can use my Ghoti synchros to undermine the Tearlament setups. Basically, go for Askaan/White Aura Whale/Deep Beyond before they can really do anything with their Tearlament fusions.

Neko Mane King isn't that good because it doesn't end the turn, just puts you in the end phase. So all quick effects and "when" effects can still go off, and they can still set up, they just can't battle.

I'm kinda digging the albaz/bystial/red eyes deck I'm working on. Will be testing soon on Master Duel before I find a local to go to.

I've beaten the deck at least once with dragon link. Mind you I opened the nuts, and since they don't play hand-traps outside of bystials and ishizu. I made borrelend, borreload, I:P. I hade 3 in hand including a bystial a ghost Belle. They played and had 5 monsters on board with me going first ON my turn. when they started to mill on their turn I bystialed, they used the ishizu grave effects to try and save them.... but I had ghost Belle. Basically, bystials and ghost Belle are the most effective cards to tech in your deck. Hold ghost Belle for the ishizu graveyard shuffle
They need to make new better gravekeeper cards if this is the direction they are going. An Archetype to control/counter the current meta.

I will say Runick gets mostly bodied by tear, but under right circumstance can pop off, though the herald I wasn't even thinking about, so fuck that's a good idea brother 😎 I faced a mystic mine burn at a case tourney and he ran that iron trap card, fuck it was awful
Ishizu’s gravekeepers were strong enough but it got tougher when her non gravekeepers got an upgrade plus Tearlament, man it was tough when I try to go for at least a 3 win streak I see many players use those cards.

I have had success against the meta by running soul drain and summon limit, usually if i resolve either one of those they have scooped and gone to game 2

This turn 0 non-sense is just the point of no return to me.
It shouldn´t be allowed to play so much without having had your turn.
Yes, Yugioh never had a ressource system like energy or mana, but at least the game was "somehow balanced" by
staple cards and restrictions.
With the restrictions on cards getting easier to play around with every year, it´s no surprise that
we have now arrived at a point where cards do sth on turn 0.
I played through Tele-DAD meta, I experienced D-Rulers` dominance before judgement was a card, I suffered pepe pendulum stuff, I witnessed gumblar hand-loop with warrior link and now with have turn 0 non-sense....
I think at this point I simply refuse to engage with the community and the game other than playing casually at home with some friends.

F*ck this powercrept non-sense where people play on turn 0 in a two-players card game.
Evenly matched doesn't do anything, tear ends on atleast Baronne and sometimes the negate trap. You will never resolve it and just waste battle phase for baronne negate sadly

Currently I have like a 60% winrate against tear with my synchron deck that has the outs. Yeah that still doesn't solve the problem though. Too strong is too strong any way you slice it. Try again.
Personally thinkin of a deck thatll run some Consecrated Light, Koaki Mieru Drago and Koaki Mieru Fiend.

Honestly, Ishizu Tearlaments players should probably be running Imperial Iron Wall (if they're not running the Bystials). Their only REAL threat is banishment.

If the banlist is not real then I guess I can use up to 3 copies of any card like Dimension Fusion or pot of greed or even Verte.
