For me it was, 87-89 down here in Tucson,AZ at the Pink Cadillac in 4th Ave. Reich was big down here with Flotsam and Jetsam and with Tucson’s very own, Atrophy. Miss those high school days for sure

Those days were memorable and wild. Lived in Scottsdale and attended school with Phil at Coronado. The Mason Jar was the spot. Flotsam was always great and Atrophy always killed it live. So happy to see SR still kicking ass and sounding great as ever.

Phil Rind seems a nice dude. Cool to see Sacred Reich on the stage with Dave McClain behind the drums. This is a underrated thrash metal band, for sure.

I saw them when I was 16 at a dive bar/club about 1/2 mile from my house in Anaheim, Ca called Jezebel's in 1987. It was an 18 and over club that was right next to a Jack in the Box. When there were good shows playing I would hide my skateboard in a shrub at that Jack in the Box and wait to see someone from the band and ask them if I could help with their gear and try and get in backstage. It worked 3 times. Anyways I saw Wiley unloading gear so I ran up to him and told him what I was doing and we was like.... Fuck ya man, come on. I stayed backstage the whole time. Fuckin' dude was so cool I'll never forget him.
Dan from Excel got me in one time and Felix from D.R.I. got me another but I didn't get to hangout backstage with them. They booted me into the crowd as soon as the first bands started.
Crowd surfing, stage diving, slamming, moshing.
Now I'm old, married, 5 kids and all my surfing is done in the ocean. 🤙😁

I saw them open for Pantera in 1993 at a little place that used to be a skating rink. They were great. Pantera was in their prime and destroyed the place.

I saw Pantera play with some friends in a band called Deadhorse back in 1988 or 89 before they were even known. They were all good friends. They were from Pasadena, Texas. I'm even mentioned on one of their album sleeves from when I hung out with them here in So Cal and drove them all around to checkout places because it was their first time in So Cal. I was best friends with a girl who was family with a certain band member who I'll leave out but anyways.... Yah, it was fuckin' awesome. 🤙
