A Look Back at a Local Vice President

As PBS takes a look at two of America's most famous vice-presidents next week (American Experience: The American Vice-President airs Tuesday, October 1 at 8pm) we’ll look even further back in our nation’s history to remember the vice-president who grew up and lived in the North Country, William A. Wheeler from Malone.
We talk with Joshua Dubbert, a historian from the Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library and Museums, about Wheeler's legacy as vice-president under President Hayes in 1877-1881.
