Tks took five minutes to remove link - didn't even need to turn philips head screwdriver left and right like someone else suggested!!
I have tiny wrists, lost a bit of weight (age related) and just removed a link from my Lorus watch (Seiko make Lorus) which had a Seiko bracelet. Thank you for this video. I now don't need to buy a new watch - rather fond of the one I've got.

Ah, so _that's_ what those two little weird inward-pointing pushbutton thingies are! Thanks! Ok, I tried that and it works fine! Those locking pins are _stiff_ , though. I bent the tip of my smallest jeweler's screwdriver prying them out, so I had to go up to the next-larger size, which was able to do the job. After removing two links, my band now fits fine. Thanks for the helpful video!

You do know that you are wearing your watch too high on your wrist right? The watch is supposed to go below the wrist bone not above lol
it is possible to detach links without disconnecting the buckle, I didn't have small tools nearby so I started with L-shaped pins directly, worked perfectly

My seiko band has the arrows. but no small holes. completely different band type.
Does it have little holes on the sides of the band?
If it has the holes on the side of the band you just need to push the pins out the other side in the direction of where the arrow is point.
