New watch arrived today. Thanks to your video i was able to adjust and wear it the same evening instead of having to take it to the jewelry store tomorrow. Thank you 😃
4:07 That literally just happened to me. The collar came out and I put the pin in. I only noticed because of slight excessive movement in the bracelet. I really wish I watched the video all the way through before getting started lol but it's cool, I found the collar, thank God.
Instead of a special tool, I actually just made it work using a SIM tool (from phone/sim) on my pins. Had to use some little pliers to pull out one of the particularly stubborn pins. The other just came the rest of the way out using my fingers.
i was thinking of doing that but i have stomach hands everything i touch turns to shit so i bought the special tool just dont know which way to push the pin out .the side of the pine that has a slice in the middle or from the side that looks like a ball point pin?
@@paulp3488 the arrows are pointing outwards on my wife's watch.. now I am more confused, can you answer your original question please? push on the side that has slice or ball point?
My new Seiko King Samurai came with a 22mm bracelet that uses pin and collar. I used to a press to get the pins out of the bracelet and when putting it back together I couldn’t get either collar tube to fit back in the hole. I did everything even trying to squeeze the end down a little to make it slightly cone shaped to help it get it. I finally put the tube on the pusher press pin and tried to press it in but all it did was crush. I have pins with friction ends on them, they look kinda like cotter pins on them so I took one of them and hammered it in to the hole and it seems to be holding pretty good till I can get to a dealer to get a proper pin and collar installed. Thanks for making this video, it helped I just wasn’t as lucky as you, it was not going to slide back in for anything. It looked like a solid tube with no seam so there wasn’t anyway to squish it to fit.
Best tutorial for bracelet adjustment! Thank you, I`ve made ajustments on three differemt watches with different bracelets. In a moment I was ready to brake something, but lucky me I made anything just fine 👌
Thank you mate your a legend newnwtach strap was a little stiff at first but managed to get the band sorted on my slimmer wrist without haveong to pay £10-15 very much appreciated 👍🏻
Question, if my watch only has 1 extra hole for the micro adjustment, and it's a tiny bit to tight with 1 link removed, but a bit to loose with all links, anything else one can do? Got a gold watch gifted and it's ever so slightly to tight or too loose.

Hi I had a question as I am thinking about buying a watch but wanted to know how long the bracket was to ensure it fit my wrist. What is the smallest size it can go?
"Simply screw back in." I bought one of the nice solid link bracelets for my watch, not the lite version, and it's impossible to screw the links back in place. They come out easily, but when I try to screw it back together with a link in place it just doesn't work, the screw hits a certain point and just locks. Infuriatingly, if I remove the link and try screwing it back together without the link in place it suddenly works. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, but now I have a completely useless bracelet that I paid extra for, and at this point I'm just thinking about dumping it at a watch repair shop and asking them to resize it for me because maybe they know something I don't.
@@louisnanda9121 I managed to get the links to screw back in on the 3rd attempt, the only advice I can give is "screw them in and out again, shifting the bracelet, until you find the magic alignment that works." To me it seems that they were made with too tight a tolerance somewhere so any slight misalignment causes the entire thing to seize up. Extremely aggravating. Now I have a Boldr bracelet that I can't size either for much the same reason lol just unlucky I guess.
Disappointed with the DIY bracelet after waiting all this time- surprised you didn’t give us something better, especially for the price. No taper on a 22mm bracelet and the cheap clasp is such a shame.
Thank you for making this tutorial. I got my son a watch for Christmas and needed to adjust it to fit his wrist. This helped a ton!
same, but in my case, its a year later, and im the son haha
I think I would've returned my new watch if this video hadn't existed. Thank you
Good video. Nice work. Superb content. Covered bases professionally - no detail left out.
My "go to" video for adjusting bracelets. Cheers.
Pin and Collar bracelets are the work of the devil! 😅 Some good tips and ideas here to make things easier. Great vid.

I thought my band was broken but it was that doggone collar you showed. Actually able to wear the watch with the native band now, thanks so much!
no problem

1:34 I don't understand when you say the narrower end is the end we should push from. The wide and narrow photos look the same.
Thank you for making this video. I just bought a new watch but I didn't know how to adjust the special bracelet 😅
I would have been lost without this tutorial, My watches can be worn now thanks and well done
