About the end bit: That was at a Sinclair gas station. They all have those big dinosaurs in the parking lot. I couldn't resist. People were looking at me funny. I looked back at them even funnier.
You're a legend, I've been losing weight for months and my watch being loose has been annoying the hell out of me, and I kept forgetting to get it adjusted. Then one day I randomly looked this video up while walking past the computer, found something on the desk and fixed my watch. Literally life changing.
Just a little advice from my experience: in order to make it more comfortable for your wrist, it's better to size the bracelet asymmetrically. if you shorten downside of the bracelet more than upper side, the clasp will fit much better. if you want to remove total 4 links, better to pick 3 down-1 up than 2-2. Take care! :)
Doing it the way you've described is exactly how I don't like it :p That is how it is most uncomfortable to me! lol. Everyone's different! I like my clasp right in the middle of the bottom of my wrist.
Thanks for the entertaining video 😂, i got it done faster before ur video ended. Such a funny tutorial with everything that goes wrong 😂😂😂. Now i can give the watch gift to my husband father with the right size. PS. Cute dino moment too there
I already know how to do this and I still watch the entire video just because I know you'll make me laugh. "at least assistant manager" in fine print, for example! Or bracelet links being passive aggressive, lol! (And thanks for not editing out the hiccups!)
just received my new Seiko snd495pc(red faced chronograph) to add to my collection. Needed to adjust the bracelet and didn't want to force anything. This set-up was new to me. So here I am :) I love the simplicity, now that I know the simplicity! thanks!
Thanks. Watched and did it myself ! Yes. Be careful with the spring when I change the buckle. It did fly away :) but I fortunately I found it. Thanks again !
This video saved me 😂 For me, when taking out the link, I push the connecting clamp thing using my thumb to create more space for the link and vice versa
Like a boss! Or assistant manager 😂😂😂 this is a great video for those who are new to the sport of watch capturing! Well done curt! You ever come to England gimme a shout I'd love to let you review the Omega >15'000 gauss 👉🏻🐝👈🏻
Same problem here. Off camera everything I do works first time. On camera, many passive aggressive watch parts. If I may ask, what is the origin of the McThis or McThat?
Tried it and failed. Took mine to the jewellers and had my bracelet adjusted for $10 bucks. Some things just aren't worth the aggravation. And this WAS aggravating.
I don't know if I messed something up but I took out a link on one side and then put the other links together and when I put them back together without the extra link it seems like they're loose now and they come apart even with the L thing in place like it was before? Any ideas? Edit : Nvm figured it out, I wasn't putting the L bracket between the hook part of the link, which is where it holds it together, it works now :)

i know im very late but i have a 5.8 inch wrist because im only 14 i was wondering if the typical seiko 5 could fit me
The first thing that happened was the spring bar launching into oblivion... Now I gotta find it! LOL!!

thanks!
Thank you! I managed to do this with a pin from a clothing tag for the springs and a metal mechanical pencil tip for the link pins!
Curt, only you could make us burst out laughing while changing passive aggressive links. Too good.
Thanks man, this is really easy to do! I thought it'd be harder to do. Love your humor!
Thanks. Watched and did it myself ! Yes. Be careful with the spring when I change the buckle. It did fly away :) but I fortunately I found it. Thanks again !
My favourite TH-cam watch guy. love the videos man. Entertaining.
Thanks, bro! I appreciate it!
Exactly the same model that I bought for my son, thanks for sharing!
This video saved me 😂
For me, when taking out the link, I push the connecting clamp thing using my thumb to create more space for the link and vice versa
Thanks so much-worked great. The microfiber cloth was helpful. And it saved me a visit to the local jeweler who is not very customer friendly.
It was informative!
After watching this, I was able to do it like a boss!!!
Thanks!
Dude, thank you so much! I needed to micro adjust it in order to fit perfectly and it fits so good right now! You’re a life saver!
I didn't even have to use my AK. LMAO, nice video man
Thanks alot. My pin went flying across the room but I eventually found it and got the job done :)
Super helpful. Removed links easily and effectively after watching

Very helpful video, very entertaining commentary too! I like your videos 👍🏻🤘🏻
That was some skillful quick fulcruming. Takes me a minute of grobknobbering on each link every time.
Thank you so much for this video, had no problem resizing my bracelet. 👍👍

Every time a folded bracelet link is resized an angel dies in a fire.
Does anyone know what size the Spring bar is?? I was adjusting my watch and it vanished without a trace 😭😭
I needed your help! Thanks!!!!!
Thanks. Love the “that’s what she said.’
Noone has such a tool and obviously this is a brutal force method. I couldn't do it.

I don't know if I messed something up but I took out a link on one side and then put the other links together and when I put them back together without the extra link it seems like they're loose now and they come apart even with the L thing in place like it was before? Any ideas?
Edit : Nvm figured it out, I wasn't putting the L bracket between the hook part of the link, which is where it holds it together, it works now :)
you're the man
Is this also working with a Seiko SNXS73K ?
I bought a new SNKE and this does not work a bit for me, it is so so tight.. maybe because it is brand new, I dunno
any tips or advice? :(
i need the 19 mm bracelet. the part which locks the bracelet in the case is lost.
Where can I buy it?
Thank you, very useful. Applied for SNKE01K1.
Thank You
You can also use a toothpick :)) 2:10
My new Seiko 5, not a Sport, has different links!
Ok but where do I put the tomato
Hmmmm. Good question! We'll have to figure that out and by we, I mean Ted.
Thank you very much, helps me a lot. I was able to do myself on SNKN58K1.
