The cows could have polished the van if they had kept going, nice to be so close to nature (i think… ). Shame the weather turned but still such amazing countryside and Ellie you are right, the rain is always somehow ‘more’ when you are in the lovely country. Nice memorial to those lost. The fuel station looked like the ones from year ago. The old fashioned hardware store sounded like my type of place - always handy for nick nacks. The ferry even looked a bit spooky in the mist. All the best, David & Rachel 👍
Some of those cows were pretty big! It’s the only time Jazz went very quiet 🤣. It was very wet that day! Perfect for a cheeky snooze! Thanks for watching ❤️Take care both ❤️👍😊
Thanks Sue. Very pleased to have you here. We are great fans of Ken and Carol. They do some great videos. Ken is very funny. I hope you enjoy our vlogs. Of course our dogs are the real stars. We love getting comments from folks so thanks very much. Take care. Xx 🐶🐶🐶👍🚐🧙♂️
A tragic story you can only imagine the scene as people escaped ashore Beauty of a van in bad weather is you can just be cosy inside Great series really enjoyed it
Hi Geeses . Hope you’re both doing well❤️. It must have been so awful. Hard to imagine it happening on such a beautiful place. Can’t beat a cosy van to retreat too. Thanks for watching ❤️😊👍
😂at the cheeky cows 🐄 Give them a bit of turtle wax next time! 😂 Well done Ellie for braving the rain 🌧️ Dinner looked interesting & hope jazz is better now! It’s a nightmare when then happens. Take care, Em 💜
Not the best of weather, but it's still beautiful. It's so hard getting stuff dry with wet dogs in a smaller campervan. Don't blame you for having a snooze when your ferry is so early. Jazz looked excited about the vegan haggis lol. Nanook loved Quorn ham and chicken too, and Wolfie just eats anything!😂
You definitely get a better class of rain in the countryside 🤣 we always end up with a bag full of soggy doggy towels in Merlin. Bet Woolfy takes a lot of drying!Jazz would eat anything. She has Pancreatitis though, so the smallest change to her diet can trigger an episode. So hard as she loves her food and treats so much. Thanks for watching. Safe travels xx ❤️😊🙏
Sat down to watch your lovely vlog twice and rudely disturbed half way through!! Third time lucky though and worth waiting for...in spite of the weather. Sad that you're coming to the end of touring these beautiful islands. Have REALL
Definitely worth a try. A match made in heaven with cathedral city plant based slices ( if you don’t eat cheese) I could eat one right now just talking about it! Thanks for watching ❤️👍😊
How wonderful again. Love these islands and Vatersay and Barra look the finest The shops and Community Centres look wonderful - we found that on Mull and in Ardnamurchan too Castlebay was fascinating and a good idea to get near for the early ferry. Hope you guys are well and look forward to the next one 👍👍👍
Hi both. The community shops are great aren’t they? Unbelievable the items they sell! Hope we manage to get to Mull soon. Your trip looked amazing. Thanks for watching 👍❤️😊
Even when the weather is grim it's still so beautiful and atmospheric. Loved the shop and the pretty garden. Lucky doggies going to such wonderful places 🥰 Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching Lynn and commenting. Yes, the doggies really love it when we travel they get really involved jazz is a joy to watch. Hope things are good with you. 🐶🐶🐶🚐🧙♂️👍
Enjoyed that. Very interesting story about the shipwreck. You managed to show off Barra despite the bad weather. The doggies looked well cosy in the van (and Graham having his nap 😅). Must try a haggis and cheese toastie 😋❤️
Thanks both ❤️. That haggis and cheese toasty has your name written all over it 😉 Think that day was the wettest one we had during the whole trip. ❤️👍😊
A fantastic vlog,Ellie & Graham , I think Graham picked best sleeping in the van 😂but like you said, Ellie, the rain is so different in scotland,Thank you for taking us on that magical journey. X
Hi Gabriela. It was delish. 😋 I used to miss haggis after giving up meat. So I’m really pleased they’ve done a vegan version. Luckily Graham likes it too. We love bad weather in the van too. ( the exception being having to walk the dogs 🤣) take care and thanks for watching and commenting ❤️👍😊
Yes it was absolutely delicious. Would try that again. We were a bit worried about the ferry crossing but in the end it was okay thanks for watching and making a comment. 🐶🐶🐶🚐🧙♂️👍
Fabulous vlog guys! The weather looked a little unfortunate, or Grimm as Ellie called it. I believe the locals call it "Dreich", dreary and bleak. Hate the weather, even more driving in it. You are so brave to drive on very narrow roads in appalling weather. I'm sure it's not like it all the time but it appears like it. Stay safe and no more naked bedroom shots thankyou😂😂😂. Sid and Nicola, Rugby.
Hi Sid and Nicola, I will try to get Graham to keep his clothes on, but you know what he’s like 🤣. The roads were surprisingly good in the main. Definitely not as tricky as Cornwall. The weather isn’t always like that. I promise! Thanks both ❤️👍😊
6am Ferries should be illegal. They could find the bodies with GPR I suppose but some one would have to pay. We had a neighbours daughter who was as cow. Her own mother said of her "We do not need Neighbourhood Watch we have Rachel" Is that Basil Radford? Gin is the Devil's work. I stick with Whisky. An astronomical Dad joke LOL Not getting involved in that discussion LOL. That haggis and cheese toastie looked awesome. Sad that your time is up. They will still be there next time.
It was indeed the great Basil Radford. Yep that ferry was far too early. Was a lovely sailing as you will see in the next one. Thanks for your comment David. 👍🐶🐶🐶🚐🧙♂️
Sorry but I don’t feel sorry for either of you 😂. I would try and do both have a quick Kip and then have a wander 😊. The haggis and cheese toastie looked yummy. Take care Gill
🤣. The perfect solution Gill 😉. (I actually had a cheeky wee nap after my walk in the rain). The cheese and haggis toasty really is a match made in heaven ( even the vegan version) perfect excuse for us to go back to Scotland 😉. Thanks for watching❤️. Safe travels ❤️👍😊
Thanks for the peacful, remote, misty atmosphere capture...helps us to relax after a stressful day .
Really pleased you enjoyed it and took the time to comment. Nice to think we could be stress busters. 🤣. 🐶🐶🐶🚐🧙♂️
Love seeing your 3 beautiful girls 🥰🐶🐶🐶🥰

Yes, they did look cosy. Thanks for taking the time to comment. I’m glad you enjoyed it. 🐶🐶🐶🚐🧙♂️👍
Definitely want to try this sandwich
Yes, you must try it. It was absolutely delicious. That one was vegan but non-vegan is available. 🧙♂️👍🚐🐶🐶🐶

@@Wizardinthewild And I missed cheese (of course, because of Switzerland 😊) years ago. But meanwhile there are nice substitutes. 👍
I can’t believe how much your dogs like a lie in! They look so snug.
Thanks for your comment Charlotte. Yes, they love a lie in ! Jazz is so cute🚐🧙♂️🐶🐶🐶xx
Mmmm, must try making that sandwich, looked yummy. Don’t fancy 5 hrs on the ferry though.
