Best Philippine street food tour! Love that your family are open-minded and understanding of the various food offered by locals off the beaten path! And your children participated too! No squimish or snobbish reaction, just plain curiousity and indulgence. Thank you!
I always think that when I watch your videos. It was the absolute right decsision to take them on those travels in their age. They will profit so much from it. If I have kids, I will try to give them the same opportunities. I know how much it changed me, when I did it later, on my own - yet, in those years, things like that have a much bigger impact. :)
im always watching your vedios keep going we Filipino support your channels grow and more subscribers thanks for visiting our country and try all our food's
I've watched all your philippine series and i've gotta say you've done great in raising your kids. Also exposing them to the local community and having them experience things that may be not of comfort especially to westerners really is just heartwarming. They'll grow up great with a sense of open-mindedness to cultural diversity and we need more parents like you for being so great. Kudos, sending love from a Cebuano :D
You guys did Anthony Bourdain proud. This is like a tip of the hat to his "Parts Unknown" show. And your whole family is so lovely, especially your kids.. so adventurous and clearly show great respect for other cultures. Much love from the Philippines! I hope you all enjoyed your stay here. ❤
What I love about your vids is the mix of the high end and low budget of doing things here in the Philippines. You book the nicest places but explore the off beaten path even to some of the locals. A well off foreigner watching would at least feel comfortable knowing there are nice and modern places to stay and eat in. But then there are those who are backpackers and are more in to the adventure of trying the local scene. So there is something there for everyone to watch and enjoy. Seeing how the kids are even willing to try eat balut more than the locals are the best. Great job of trying to expose them to exotic places and dishes.
I love your energy of the family of Always Be Changing visiting Cebu. We as Cebuanos appreciate your exploration of food, culture, scenery and the vibe of Cebu. Your kids are smart and interactive. There are plenty of tourists' attraction in Cebu like beaches, waterfalls, malls, historical places and more.
been scoping your Philippines vlogs for some time and am loving the adventurous and informative vlogging you guys do. It seems more documentary than just travel which I love. Cross-comparison with what you know and have experienced helps other people who have not been in the Philippines identify with the palette. Your kids will thank you one day for the exposure and experience and am sure they are just as enriched and as engulfed with the whole venture. Kudos and more power to your channel and endeavours.
Thank you! It’s our hope that our kids will look back and really appreciate the kind of childhood we’re giving them. In the meantime we really love traveling with them 🥰. Thank you for supporting our channel!
I’ve been waiting for this exact Philippines vlog. Seeing you guys enjoying Filipino Street Food makes me smile and enjoying the perspective that everyone has to say. I’m glad you guys are enjoying Philippines 🫶🏻
OMG i've been binge watching all your Philippine vlogs all night and one of the best things I like about you guys are that you are not afraid to try the local food. + The kids look like they're liking it here! You guys are so adventurous its fun to watch! :) Please keep doing these vlogs. Kudos to the quality of your vids you deserve more subs!
Love this family so nice and non discriminant and open minded and i love what they teach their children in ways they should always be mindful to others such cute angels, love the phillipines.
A lot of Filipinos ourselves don't eat balut 😅 Salute to you guys for not shying away from trying and experiencing the diverse culture and foods in the Philippines!
Balut is a very healthy food... Balut is an excellent source of proteins that is an important part of the human diet to help building blocks in repairing and building the tissues in your body like the bones, muscles, skin, blood and cartilages..
i agree, but mostly 80's and 90's kids eat balut.. generation 2000's and up are the one's that usually don't eat balut.. we eat balut back then after partying in libis.. oh the good old days.. hmmm.. 😅 oh just a tip.. if you don't like balut because of the baby duck in it.. try asking your local balut vendor for "balut sa puti", the chick would be very small when you buy "balut sa puti" instead of the normal one's with feathers and beak etc.

Not only you educate yourselves but you are also educating us. There are more than 7000 islands in our country and each of us has distinct cultural practices and different ways of preparing and cooking food and with that, thanks a lot for walking us through Cebu street food. Your community immersion is plausible! I am happy to have known your channel. Keep going 👏👏👏
This is my hometown!! And wow, I'm amazed by how brave and willing you guys are to go deep into the underbelly to try the local foods in Cebu! The flow of your storytelling is tremendous, and I think this is by far the best one I've seen created by an independent TH-camr. Netflix, BBC, NatGeo or any mainstream media should hire you both to make travel documentaries because I think you guys are that great! GOD bless! 🙌
Love what you’re doing with your kiddos, encouraging them to try new things and appreciate different cultures. I grew up overseas and to this day the things I experienced influence how I go about my everyday life.
I recently subscribed to your channel. I keep watching the episodes on El Nido, Boracay Bohol, and now Cebu. It is never dull to watch them. I love watching the family's reactions when they go to the places they've been, like the hotel where they're staying, or the islands they've visited. I enjoy the energy and atmosphere of the family. The kids were entertaining to watch, especially Brooklyn, who makes expressions at her parents when they talk about the islands, and Colt, who collects lizards, I believe they are "tuko," which are hard to capture and rarely appear.
Thank you so much! We love you right back. The people of the Philippines are unlike any we've encountered anywhere else in the world. So much for you to be proud of!
Wow...thank you for sharing. I'm Filipino, but, almost all the street food you have tried, I have not eaten. I love how the kids are so adventurous trying all the food and immersed into different cultures 😊 Brooklyn and Colt, hands off to you, eating balut. You kids rock!!!!

Thank you for making videos in the Philippines. It's like documentary travel show for family. Your videos are full of information not only for foreigners but also for Filipinos like me. Please visit more places in the Philippines. Thank you
love how you exposed your kids with different culture, food and people around them. you guys are great! i always end up smiling after watching each of your vlog. nice work!
You guys are awesome!!! I am a Filipino living in NY and I have been traveling with my kids as well. Unfortunately I am divorced so will be taking my Italian fiancé to the Philippines next year and will be traveling to the same places you’ve been to. Love your kids and that little man’s palate is the next Bourdain!!! Keep up the adventure
WOW, this family deserves Filipino Netizen’s support! A very appreciative and inspiring Family that tried some of our dishes that most westeners’ avoid and unappreciated. The kids are both cute and admirable too, they’re not picky people. Love this video and this family! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
WOW!!! You all are BRAVE!!! I’m Filipina and I can’t even eat balut! Glad you all are fully experiencing the Philippines 🇵🇭. My sister and her family leaving for the Philippines on Sunday 10/6. I forwarded your channel to her to watch in the plane. We have a house in Bohol. Safe travels!
That's awesome that the kids are also trying everything and also with travelling! These are the kids that are going to be immune to a lot of sickness, barely allergic to anything, and an experience they will learn from and bolster their personalities and world views in the future. They are so blessed!
Such an mazing family you have and blessed with a good life. Traveling around the world with your kids and creating good memories with them is something special which most family dreamed of.. Thank you for this vlog and the rest of your Philippine tour adventure, appreciated you have included this tiny part of the world as one of your list to explore. I have seen all your Philippine vlog of course and noticed you have more likes received in all the PH videos than your other country tour. It simply means that Filipinos are way more supportive especially when you embrace and showcase our culture .. Hopefully in the future you will explore more of Philippines as we are always here to welcome foreigners everywhere and anytime with a smile.
Yes, we're so grateful to get to travel the world as a family and for the chance to visit PH multiple times. Filipinos are wonderful people and we'll see you all again in a few weeks 🤗
You guys are frecken awesome! Thanks for visiting my motherland and glad y'all enjoyed it. If you stayed a little longer there, you'd reach 100k subs in no time!
I live in the PH, but I haven't even tried balut nor betamax (grilled blood) - cheers especially to your kids for even trying them out! 👏 I recommend canyoneering in Badian, whaleshark watching in Oslob, and the sardine run in Moalboal - they are all in southern Cebu, so you can probably do them all in 2 days! I'm sure the kids will enjoy them all! 💯
Uppp. Been to Cebu just last February Popular places to go to and things to do: - Moalboal (Sardine Run) - Oslob (Swimming w/ whalesharks and island hopping to Sumilon Island) - Bantayan Island (northern part) - Malapascua Island (northern part)
The Lockwoods ate WHAT? 😳 Saw the contents and the streetfood "menu" -- i haven't even tried a few..and Brooklyn ate balut (raised my eyebrow)?? Excited to watch and for 50K subs with this one. Cheers to the fam ! 😘
Looking forward to more of your content...great video editing, narration, phasing♥️ Your Binondo food hunt caught my attention...it was fast and straightforward...more like achieving a goal. It's just awesome how your Cebu food hunt turned out spontaneous...more indulgence with the locale...more human touch...more adventurous! I think that's what will make the travel more of an experience.
People like your family is what makes us kind and sweet and friendly because you are too. Thank you for featuring the Philippines in your travel blog and for all that positive feed back ❤️❤️❤️
My new favorite travel channel! I’m loving this Philippine series. You guys are inspiring us to travel more and see the world and experience different cultures. Keep up these fantastic videos. ❤️
My favorite family vloggers! Kudos to the parents for raising such well-behaved and adventurous kids. Mom and Dad are super cool too! Appreciate it so much that you love your stay in the Philippines. Just moved to British Columbia and now I am craving for lechon and all the foods you featured 😅😅😅
Applause and more applause guys, esp. to the kiddies for trying BALUT! And glad you loved all the food you tried. And wow, you even had ENSAYMADA, one of our popular local pastries. (It originated in Spain though, so not really original Filipino.) What you missed out on is TURON, a fried banana with jackfruit spring roll. But atleast you had its cousin BANANA-Q which is also very popular here. :) Btw guys, our LUMPIANG SHANGHAI was named 2nd Best Street Food in the World for 2022 by Taste Atlas. Other Taste Atlas' picks (though not street food) are: SINIGANG (can be pork, shrimp or even salmon) - World's Best Soup in 2021. CHICKEN INASAL - Top 5 of 50 Best Chicken Dishes in the World. TORTANG TALONG - Best Egg Dish in the World. On your return to PH, try also our KAKANINs, native snacks from the olden days. I think you had some at the Loboc river ferry. But there are many kinds of Kakanin like KUTSINTA, PUTO, BIBINGKA, different types of SUMAN, PALITAW, SAPIN-SAPIN, CASSAVA CAKE, etc. :)
hats off to both of you as parents on how you let your kiddos interact by means of appreciating different cultures of each country you visited, from the captivating tourist spots attraction up to the mouth watering delicacies that even some of them are never heard of and a bit strange and scary to some, but your children are very brave enough to taste and eat in their free will and that is remarkable in their age...SALUTE thanks and keep on going... just stay safe, healthy and sound💖
Erin and Phil's thanks for visiting the Philippines and accepting our culture. I watch all your videos in the Philippines and I Love it. specially your kid's I admired them for being openminded. More power to your Family and to your channel Good luck and have a safe travel.
been following your guys journey after the algorithm suggested it to me, the critique is so genuine and i love to listen to it especially coming from the kids, not only that they are handsome and pretty they are so well behaved and so smart, just too bad reagan couldn't join you guys because of school but seeing brooklyn and colt enjoying the travel and spontaneity about food and places is a delight to watch so adorable kids, Philippines tour coming to an end hope you enjoy the next destination and please do comeback if schedule permits you to do so... love yah guys
Phil, you're lucky to have a wife who is beautiful inside and out, brave, emotional, appreciative and very open to things. Both of you are beautiful souls, very inspiring!
this Family is So down to earth. I’m happy I discovered this Vlog This is my new way of relaxing watching them before going to work and after work!!!!!
I have seen / watched blogs of others but you and your family are an awesome group where you somehow express things you see/ try in details . Nice to see you guys enjoying what the Philippines 🇵🇭 can offer. Thank you guys.!!
damn, gotta give you props, i've lived in the Philippines for sooo long but i've always avoided eating balut, just gives me the creeps looking at it but you guys actually ate it hahah really more adventurous then most of the filipinos hahahha
Mind over matter. Balut isn't gross to eat. Icelandic's staple of rancid whale meat or Taiwan's stinky tofu or Thai's assorted fried insects (snakes, crickets, centipedes, etc) are far more disgusting, both in visuals and in smell and even taste. But balut doesn't have repulsive taste or smell. The chick inside every balut egg doesn't have digestive system yet so they don't have guts to worry about. :-)
I loooove this video!! 😊👏👍 Erin and Phil's enthusiasm is so contagious. The kids are awesome; down to earth, brave, curious! I keep checking if its almost over because I dont want it to be over! Legit travel vid! 😊💜💜💜💜💜
You guys are awesome and the kiddos ❤ how open you are in getting into the culture of Filipinos. Love how you explore and explain local foods. Brooklyn reaction everytime she likes the food was priceless!😍🤣🥂
Wow! I have never tried balut and I am a filipino now living in the US! I will try balut next time. So inspired to see you guys tried anything. I feel emotional watching your videos exposing your kids to different cultures not just black or white. Teaching and showing them that all of us are human it doesn't matter where you are from or who you are! God bless on your trip. Stay safe always! Just subscribed!
Waiting for part 2. Happy to see you guys enjoying while immersing on different cultures. Enjoy Cebu! I love the kids--curious and brave. You deserve more subs. ❤️
I am really impressed with your whole family, especially your kids in trying all different foods without hesitation. Always excited to see what’s next on your list 👏👏👏 thumbs up 10X ❤
Philippines tip: If you wanna go to a place that is far try to find a tricycle not only is it cheap it's also everywhere. Also theres a thing in the Philippines called "Tawad" where you would please someone to lower the price of an item or food like your pleasing someone to lower the price into 150 to 100 pesos. Don't be scared or shy if the Filipinos/Filipinas are staring at you they aren't shaming you they are just curious. Also you would be most likely to smile more in the Philippines if you go alot becuase of the people, nature and the sun. Also when you ask someone for direction and they like use their lips like kissing to a specific thing do not think He/She is a pervert it's a part of the Philippines tradition.

Your channel got recommended when I searched filo street foods. I miss PH street foods! I'm Filipino but I'm currently working in NY for 3years now. I miss Home. Thank you for this!
No dull moment. I love that you tell a little bit of history about the places you visit. Erin’s knowledge of why Filipinos use spoon instead of knife is very impressive. The kids are just adorable and will grow up to be wonderful people being taught to appreciate different cultures and traditions. I’m hooked. More places to visit and power to your family.
Haven't been living in Philippines for a long time 24yrs. I missed my country and I can't wait to come back home to visit my family in 2023 and the food...yes the food! Can't wait....
I like this family. They have deep understanding of different culture. Taste.. character. Way of life... A very diverse mindset. Salute. Always take care guys...
You guys are awesome. Kids did really well. I'm amazed! I hope you try out Cebu's Lechon! You'll love it for sure! Something less exotic but really iconic. :)
The kids are awesome -- eye opening kids. They learned a lot. Traveling is education. Don't forget, when you get back to Manila - Pay tribute to the most beautiful American cemetery in the world. Your children will treasure the sacrifices of the American soldiers. It's in BGC (Bonifacio Global city) I swear, its beautiful !!
I really admire your kids they are so open to trying things & then liking it and say it’s delicious. I eat most of the things you tried. You guys are so brave in trying the Balut, I only eat the yellow part of the Balut. I enjoyed watching this vlog,so interesting. It’s nice that you show there are nice places where people can stay and you also go to the places where the locals go to eat and shop . Thank you for being so open and adventurous. 😊👍👏
You guys are so amazing! Letting the kids experience the differences between countries about their culture, food, community and all. It's so great! World will be a better place if we have more like you guys
It's not just an ordinary travel vlog. It's a family-filled content (I like the excitement on the kids) with beautiful live-documentary-like hosting skills by the creators themselves.
I salute you guys for being so adventurous and open minded - more than myself I would say and I’m Filipino lol. I can only go as far as sipping the broth in the balut and I’ve never had chicken blood. Your kids are ahead of me lol. It’s always nice to see your vlogs in the Philippines.
I love your family’s energy! I also appreciate that you are exposing the kiddos to different culture through immersion! Travel is the best education!! Thank you for sharing
That was a great watch! Appreciate that u make an effort to "do as the locals." didn't realize one eats balut with vinegar. Growing up, I've only seen it done with salt. The best part for me is making a small crack on the shell, putting into the holea pinch of salt, and slurping the soup. After drinking all the soup, u peel your way slowly down to the bottom and eat whatever gets exposed.
It's so worth the wait. I think I'm obsessed with your vlog. I can't get enough with a couple times of watching. It has to be over and over. Loving your family. Brooklyn's bravery is exemplary. I'm 100% very impressed. I'm filipino but have never tried eating balut my entire life. God Bless and keep safe always.
We see you get more and more immersed in the Philippine experience. And we are glad you like it. :) I know you plan to travel many places more but we hope to see you back for a second dive into the Philippines. God bless the family as you bless people you visit through these vlogs. Also, hope you get to try crispy lechon skin as Bourdain did. :)
Amazing videos, you captured things I have not seen in my life and I was even born there. You are doing me a favor already as you explore the country. You describe these places as if I'm there and doing this with family is really worth it showing them other cultures, I'm sure they will never forget this adventure..Thank you !

WOW, this family deserves Filipino Netizen’s support! A very appreciative and inspiring Family that tried some of our dishes that most westeners’ avoid and unappreciated. The kids are both cute and admirable too, they’re not picky people. Love this video and this family! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Aww thank you! We feel the love 🥰
Ive seen a lot of foreign family vlogs visiting Philippines but I love the pace of your videos and its very professionally done!
Thank you!!!
Thanks for sharing the love 🤗 I hope your sister has a great time in PH. Thanks for supporting our channel!
That's awesome that the kids are also trying everything and also with travelling! These are the kids that are going to be immune to a lot of sickness, barely allergic to anything, and an experience they will learn from and bolster their personalities and world views in the future. They are so blessed!
You guys are awesone.. Loving your vlog.. Thanks for visiting our country the Philippines 🇵🇭 stay safe❤️❤️❤️
Thank you! 😃
Thanks!
@@AlwaysBeChanging Try traditional or fiesta Philippine food
I live in the PH, but I haven't even tried balut nor betamax (grilled blood) - cheers especially to your kids for even trying them out! 👏
I recommend canyoneering in Badian, whaleshark watching in Oslob, and the sardine run in Moalboal - they are all in southern Cebu, so you can probably do them all in 2 days! I'm sure the kids will enjoy them all! 💯
Uppp. Been to Cebu just last February
Popular places to go to and things to do:
- Moalboal (Sardine Run)
- Oslob (Swimming w/ whalesharks and island hopping to Sumilon Island)
- Bantayan Island (northern part)
- Malapascua Island (northern part)
Sarap kaya Ng balut masustansya saka Ng inihaw na dugo.try eat before you gone in the universe 😀😭🙏
The Lockwoods ate WHAT? 😳
Saw the contents and the streetfood "menu" -- i haven't even tried a few..and Brooklyn ate balut (raised my eyebrow)?? Excited to watch and for 50K subs with this one. Cheers to the fam ! 😘
Looking forward to more of your content...great video editing, narration, phasing♥️ Your Binondo food hunt caught my attention...it was fast and straightforward...more like achieving a goal. It's just awesome how your Cebu food hunt turned out spontaneous...more indulgence with the locale...more human touch...more adventurous! I think that's what will make the travel more of an experience.
People like your family is what makes us kind and sweet and friendly because you are too. Thank you for featuring the Philippines in your travel blog and for all that positive feed back ❤️❤️❤️
So nice of you! We’re looking forward to exploring so much more of your beautiful country ❤️🇵🇭
My new favorite travel channel! I’m loving this Philippine series. You guys are inspiring us to travel more and see the world and experience different cultures. Keep up these fantastic videos. ❤️
Thank you! Welcome to our channel 🤗 so happy you found us.
Btw guys, our LUMPIANG SHANGHAI was named 2nd Best Street Food in the World for 2022 by Taste Atlas. Other Taste Atlas' picks (though not street food) are:
SINIGANG (can be pork, shrimp or even salmon) - World's Best Soup in 2021.
:)
hats off to both of you as parents on how you let your kiddos interact by means of appreciating different cultures of each country you visited, from the captivating tourist spots attraction up to the mouth watering delicacies that even some of them are never heard of and a bit strange and scary to some, but your children are very brave enough to taste and eat in their free will and that is remarkable in their age...SALUTE
thanks and keep on going...
just stay safe, healthy and sound💖
This means the world to us 🥰 Thank you for appreciating our family. We’re all growing with every new place we visit. 🙏
Ayiieee!! Abc's getting out of their comfort zone and going out to the wild. I Really, love it! Can't wait for you guys to come back here.. 😍
We can’t wait to come back too! 🤗

Thanks so much, Romeo!
been following your guys journey after the algorithm suggested it to me, the critique is so genuine and i love to listen to it especially coming from the kids, not only that they are handsome and pretty they are so well behaved and so smart, just too bad reagan couldn't join you guys because of school but seeing brooklyn and colt enjoying the travel and spontaneity about food and places is a delight to watch so adorable kids, Philippines tour coming to an end hope you enjoy the next destination and please do comeback if schedule permits you to do so... love yah guys
Phil, you're lucky to have a wife who is beautiful inside and out, brave, emotional, appreciative and very open to things. Both of you are beautiful souls, very inspiring!
finally a foreign vlogger who showcases cebu city in general. hope you enjoy our beloved city.
Thank you for appreciating our video! We did love it :)
this Family is So down to earth. I’m happy I discovered this Vlog This is my new way of relaxing watching them before going to work and after work!!!!!
That touches our hearts 🥰 thank you 🙏
I have seen / watched blogs of others but you and your family are an awesome group where you somehow express things you see/ try in details .
Wow! How I wish my wife would be this open in letting our kids try street foods. Great content!
I loooove this video!! 😊👏👍 Erin and Phil's enthusiasm is so contagious. The kids are awesome; down to earth, brave, curious! I keep checking if its almost over because I dont want it to be over! Legit travel vid! 😊💜💜💜💜💜
Thank you soooooo much 👏🏼 🤗🙏🥰 makes us so happy you liked it!
HAPPY 1M VIEWSSSS, ABC FAM!!!!! U deserve all the love!!!
Thank you!!! 🤗
The fact you guys are trying different dishes outside of your comfort zone is amazing 🤩 LOVE IT

Great to see that you are enjoying the Philippines. Such fun to watch your kids being daring and courageous with these local food.
Thank you! Even Brooklyn surprised us that day. So proud of her. Colt, we can always count on him to try something new. Proud of both of them.
You guys are awesome and the kiddos ❤ how open you are in getting into the culture of Filipinos. Love how you explore and explain local foods. Brooklyn reaction everytime she likes the food was priceless!😍🤣🥂
Thank you :) We really enjoyed doing it.
I love this family, I’m so proud of y’all! ❤
Thank you thank you! We're mostly proud of our kids. So brave to try new things at their age :)
Never regret subscribing you guys, thanks for embracing the culture of my country. More power ❤️🇺🇸🇵🇭

Thank you 🥰

You should try the bohoL its close to the cebu
Philippines tip:
If you wanna go to a place that is far try to find a tricycle not only is it cheap it's also everywhere.
Wow amazing lods new subscriber I love cebu❤️❤️❤️

I loooove how you guys readily try out everything. I know it's sooo different from your normal life but you're all so adventurous. The kids are great as well. I love you guys
Thank you! Sometimes we encourage our kids to try new things and sometimes they’re the ones encouraging us. We’re all growing 🥰
Thank you! That means a lot to us as creators and parents 🙏🤗
Thank you :)
It's in BGC (Bonifacio Global city)
I swear, its beautiful !!
Thank you! So proud of our kids. Thanks for reminding us of the memorial in BGC, we will absolutely aim to go there in January.
I really admire your kids they are so open to trying things & then liking it and say it’s delicious. I eat most of the things you tried. You guys are so brave in trying the
Balut, I only eat the yellow part of the Balut.
Awww thank you 🥰
It's not just an ordinary travel vlog. It's a family-filled content (I like the excitement on the kids) with beautiful live-documentary-like hosting skills by the creators themselves.
Thank you!! We all had so much fun making this video. 😊
Love to see your family adopting the culture what Philippines offers to world. Hope you could visit Davao City soon
I love your kids!!! It's so cool having them around because of their adventurous spirit 💙
Thank you 🙏. We love traveling with the kids and we’re so proud of all the food and culture they’ve been embracing 🥰
this parents are the best for encouraging their kids experience what life is all about!!
Thank you 🥰
That was a great watch!
Thanks, M R! Colt really liked it with the vinegar LOL
Something me to try! Safe travels!
Thank you! Colt is almost always up for anything. Brooklyn really surprised us though! I'm so glad she did!!
We’ve already made plans to come back in January! I have a feeling it’s going to take us a few trips to get through everything we need to see 😊
