So actually, thinking about it from your perspective of using meta and such, I'd say that if the rest of the round definitely looks like US to you, I wouldn't let any meta about painted or unpainted curbs affect your decision (unless there's a chance that you know exactly where else it would be instead of the US).
The goat of NMPZ is back!!!! Isle of Man clutch 💪 architecture wasn't Jersey at all, so glad you went against your instincts and trusted the red plate haha these videos are some of my favourites, I like the slower pace and more thought that has to go into each round :)
Tip, Norway: Green number plates are only used on vehicles with 2/3 seats, like panel vans, pick-ups, some Berlingo-style cars with the back seats removed and so on. Never on lorries, buses. There is a huge tax benefit for (often) commercial vehicles with only one seat row. The green plates makes it easier for the police to check for misuse or illegal rebuilding. But in the beginning, people found many loopholes. A lot of Porsches and other exotic cars were registered as two seater commercial vehicles, at 1/3 of the ordinary price. :-)
interesting fact about the norwegian numberplates. only vans / work vehicles have the green number plates, not trucks or larger vehicles use the green ones. (any truck over 3.5 tons are on white ones)
