In summer I carry the minimum. But in winter my coat becomes the equivalent of a lady's purse. I carry a pair of small wool mittens, cough drops, chewing gum, mini screwdrivers, tissues, and probably a few more things.

I wish I could put everything in my pockets, but I have children so instead I carry a backpack with:
      FACEMASKS
      Sanitizer
      Diapers for my baby
      Cleaning wipes
2 sets of clothes for my baby
      Phone
      Money, cards
      Eyeliner
      Mirror
      One water bottle
      One baby bottle
      Chocolates for emergency
      One granola bar
      Cloth to clean glasses
      Toys for children
      Plastic bags
      List goes on...
My bag ends up weighing more than my baby girl. LOL

In oh so many respects, what these people are carrying in their pockets, could even as well be found in the pockets of a westerner. Mustafa often refers to himself as " just a villager", but in my mind there's no doubt that he's a Brahui gentleman. - And tho' he's a really pleasent and honest man, he's not someone anybody should mess with. I like and respect him very much

Admittedly, I just attributed it to him being an elder and acting as such but you’re right! More than just an elder, he is a gentleman who practices self care and development. So, whether from a village or from a metropolis, the man is a class act. Thank you for this insight! 🤙🏽

He carried a receipt for money he was owed by well off people who sometimes don’t pay. That’s the case in South Asia, where the poor struggle so much. These ‘ big ‘people pay when they find it convenient knowing that labourers count on daily cash. 😢

I'm in a South Asian country, Sri Lanka and here pretty much everyone pays as soon as job is over. There is no "I'll pay later" here. For example if I call someone to do work and then if I tell them I'll pay later, they will shout at my house in complete filth for an hour, and probably break a part of my property. Maybe it's different in Pakistan.

As a woman in America I am jealous of the pocket space the ladies there have! Most of our dresses and skirts have no pockets at all, and the pockets in our pants/trousers are often so little you wonder why they put them in at all, if you hold your hand flat you can only get the fingers into the pocket but never the whole hand, pants for men have much bigger pockets here.

As a woman from America, I wish we were given a big pocket in our clothes like this! I have to carry a bag because the pockets on my clothes only allow me to carry my cellphone 📱. I keep my Keys on a chain so I don’t lose, and my bag gets full of other things. I’m surprised here how the men have combs and mirrors, while women don’t. Even mehboob has perfume. These r all things generally you see in a woman’s hand bag while a man here will carry only his wallet, keys, and cellphone. This is just a generalization though. Loved this video!

@@keniride3255 When it comes to lending money, it’s my experience you will lose friends. If you are good enough to lend money to a friend, they should be happy to repay your generosity in helping them when they need help. That rarely happens. So then you have the shadow of being taken advantage of sitting in the middle of your friendship. Or they avoid you.
When I was young I was very generous. The older I get, the more the adage my father always said rings true: Never a borrower nor lender be.

Also called miswak in Arabic/Muslim cultures. One end is chewed until frayed into bristles then used to brush teeth and gums and tongue. The chewed end is cut of and the process repeated. Many of the plants used have antiseptic, antibacterial or aromatic properties. The ultimate "green" toothbrush.
