    That is the best audio system presentation and comparison i have seen on YT. Many presenters on YT and hifi shows only play non demanding music (voice + guitar only) to hide the weakness of the system. Here the drum track tells everything about dynamics and timing. The antique desk is beautiful. Well done!

    I have the vinyl version of the drum test track. They purposely tuned one of Ron Tutt’s Tom toms to “ring” after it was hit: the more of a ring you can hear the more accurate the playback. You can clearly hear the ring on both speakers.

      Unthinking that what you are earing is the difference In scale due to cabinet size , hence that the K comes as A more lean blalanced speaker , and the J the fuller one , and thus the one with more scale …

      @bogdanspiridon6760 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      american sound does not exist neither does british sound, one has a bigger box thus makes more bass thats it. The broader the range the best, as long as details are preserved and this is what AN is very good at. So if you can and within the limitations of your room, pick-up up the biggest AN you can ie AN E

    I'm providing this advice as I can only go by what I see in the video. This is for all noobs...
    1. When doing a/b testing of speakers you must only use one speaker placed at center of sidewall dimensions (best if positioned using 1.6:1 ratio).
    a. put a mark on tape at floor to insure same position
    2. place you listening chair (no high back as the back should not be higher than your shoulders) about 3-4 feet away.
    Note: there can be no speakers, gear, furniture (no obstructions) between the back wall, you and the speaker). You mast also gain match using a SPL and spectrum analyzer) this is critical even if both speakers have same impedance and sensitivity.

    Funny years ago when this speaker was owned by Peter Snell I remember hearing the massive A's with audionote amps bigger was usually better. Then Audionote and Audio Innovations (which Peter Qvortrup came from) and Guy Sargent, came to my town and side by side in different room was the oto then £8-9K Snell J's and the third audio mono's pre production around the same price and Snell k's. Which sounded better Audio Note or Audio Innovations....GUESS 🙂

    The room and positioning means the sound and system is probably giving 50% of its actual capability. If theres one thing i know its that speakers and room corners dont mix. Add that slope roof and its good bye soundstage and good frequency response. More money than sense on show yet again im afraid!
