2 years ago i saw a 4 pack of these at a local supermarket and thought *who the hell would buy a 4 pack for 12$?!" But I noticed it sold a lot. So one shopping trip i put back my 12 pack of miller lite and picked up this beer for the same price. I had never even heard of an IPA before. After a couple of days i drank one and it blew me away! I said "this is what beer is suppose to taste like!" Its my favorite beer to date and thanks to it, its made me seek out other craft beers, thanx sam :).
Years ago on a motorcycle ride we stopped at the Rehoboth beach location and I asked for a Miller light, when denied I asked for something that taste like a Miller Lite. This is my official public apology. I now get thirsty whenever I work on equipment that the company I work for supplies to Dogfish Head for brewing that beautiful beer.
Dude Sam is a monster. I love DFH and I'm glad this beer pulls so many people into the craft beer world I'm starting to see it in a lot of restaurants now.
I finally gopt a chance to try this 90 mintue IPA while visitng Vegas. I sure wished Dogfish Head was available in Alabama. Such a great tasting beer!!! I'm spoiled now. FREE THE HOPS!! Keep it up DFHB
@SteelGripX6 agreed. I served this beer to my dad - an italian immigrant who drank two tall glasses of wine a day at dinner - thinned of course with seltzer - but fuck it he deserves a good beer when I see him. He loved it but after one he was done. Great beer!
I am also trapped in Alabama where this is not available. Get the distribution channels updated folks!! This beer should now be able to be sold here due to the recent changes to the law.

This is my favorite of all beers. Close second is the Stone Ruination IPA or Dogfish Head 60 Min IPA.
2022 and this beer kicks AZZZ.. world class 100 Sam

Finally tracked it down in Newport Beach, CA today. Amazing beer
I proclaim this to be the best IPA I ever had...And believe me.. I had a lot!..Cheers to Dogfish head!
I know that you wrote this 1 year ago but I could not agree more. It is simply my favorite IPA. There are other good IPAs but this is by far the best

Yep, one of the very best beers I've ever tried. The 120 is over the top and I've yet to try the 60.

This shit is sooooo fucking good. Crazy balanced. Easiest-drinking 9% abv I've ever had.
I think that literally, they serve Dogfish Head Theobroma.

You got it backwards, mate..
This is wayyyyy to malty for me. Hops are overpowered by sweet malts. I'm a hop head and love a strong hop taste. Definitely think this is over rated.
