    Wow. How can someone create something that works better in the software than the company that actually made the software. Dude, this is phenomenal!!!! I always had issues with quantized notes in note repeat! Just uploaded this video to one of the S1 user pages on Facebook. Great job Bro!

      Thank you sir. I’ll be releasing the script soon, as well as documentation of everything I’ve learned in the process.

    Undoubtedly, this is a remarkable achievement.
    As soon as the script is published, that would be the reason to buy the MPC Studio 2 that I was already considering for my Studio One 6. So to be honest I'm eagerly waiting for the script.
    But what I would like to know now (and which probably shows my helplessness as a beginner in controller technology):
    HOW could the DRUM PADS (and the touch strip) be assigned to functions in Studio One?!
    (For example, in a test I did with my old Axiom Pro 25, Studio One's Midi Learn didn't register the drum pads at all (only knobs and transport buttons)).
    Thanks & greetings

    Hello i buy your script but on my mpc studio2 i dont have colors on my pads like you ?
    I dont know why

    • @x-producer-b
      @x-producer-b  7 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Hello. This is on purpose. When I originally launched the script, there was a bug on Windows that caused Windows to crash when sending the Sysex Midi message required to light the Pads. I found that the error was not caused by my script, but by the MPC Studio Mk2 Midi driver. So in the updated Windows version, I removed the functionality that sends colors to the pads.
      Again the problem is not with my script, but with the Akai MPC Studio Mk2 Midi driver. The only solution I’ve found is to uninstall the MPC Studio Mk2 Midi driver. The original script works fine without Akai’s MPC Studio Mk2 Midi Driver installed. But uninstalling the Akai Midi Driver will render the device unusable with the MPC Software.

      I don’t think so. I think I could make it work for the Studio black but I don’t have one 😞. If you know of a way I could get my hands on one, I’m willing to do the work

      I’m not using the MPC Software VST. I coded a script to make the MPC Studio work natively in Studio One. No VST required

    The MPC Studio Mk2 is fine for controlling MPC Beats and MPC Software, dare I say even excellent. Although people dis it for having a different control scheme compared to an MPC, which IMO is not that much of an issue. The real problem is though that it sucks at controlling anything else. Which would also be fine (think Ableton Push) if it wasn't for MPC Beats and MPC Software being absolutely crap at being a DAW. Newcomers should stay far away from this and learn a proper DAW first or use Koala Sampler if they just want to do software sampling.

      I agree and I love Koala sampler. It’s a good place to start sampling and it’s fun. And you’re also right there’s no substitute for learning a proper DAW,, but they are many people that have invested in the MPC studio and they use other software as . I’m just trying to help them get the most from their investment. Thanks for the comment. Cheers 👍

      You may think mpc is trash , but the mpc is more than just a daw , it's a culture movement and a historical hip hop tool. That's why many people not all but many use it. I was been mostly reason for a good 20 years. I jumped on the mp for fun. Ijs

    • @Drrolfski
      @Drrolfski 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ramsey4630 MPC in standalone is not trash at all. I have an MPC Live 2 and it's a great device for standalone beat making. As a software DAW it falls woefully short though. Basically emulating the MPC workflow on screen just isn't an intuitive and efficient mouse and keyboard interface and comes with unnecessary limitations for the sake of keeping that legacy MPC workflow that was never designed for software anyway.
      Also going MPC software for the sake of being hiphop cool is a terrible reason to start making music. In the end these are just tools, so you want the ones that work best, not the ones that look coolest.

    • @ramsey4630
      @ramsey4630 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Drrolfski 🤣 🤣 I been doing music since 92. What you keep missing is mpc is mpc. It's not supposed to be a universal controller. If you want a controller buy a controller. Mpc wasn't intended to be a daw .. that's why it also works as a vst. Mpc stand alone is alright compared to the desktop flow it's slower. But these things are what you get when you signed up for a mpc. Controller mode. You do realize the software is made first then squeezed into the machine. Spend some time on the software it makes way more sense. I hopped on mpc after all these just because I was bored. And its just what I expected. A sampler .

    • @Drrolfski
      @Drrolfski 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@ramsey4630 Well that's exactly my point, original MPCs weren't designed to be a DAW. But modern MPCs are basically a DAW-in-a-box, you can completely finish a track on them with all the pro onboard tools at your disposal. And while that finished track making, while relatively slow, kinda works on a standalone MPC, if you emulate that with software like MPC Beats on a computer with mouse and keyboard, you then have to compare the experience with making and finishing tracks on a proper DAW. And then the experience falls completely flat. Which is why newcomers should stay far away from MPC Beats: Either learn music making on a proper DAW or if you just want to stick to sampling, get Koala Sampler.
