I love the idea of character starting as enchanter, and then through healing and supporting achieving power to be serious damage dealer. Also moth form looks so GOOD.

A support being the adc's sisters is way too on-the-nose. We already have 2 couples in the bot lane, making more relatives/romances in the only duo lane is just doing the same idea to death.
Really love your version of Xolaani as aggressive support, makes really great use of her darkin blood magic theme and use it in other way than just fighter! Most of the time, I saw people turning her into damage/bruiser champion, which is not bad, but also really not that special in sea of champions that already do that. Also really happy to see you create skin sketches in recent videos, it really elevates the champion design for me and make it feel even more professional. Hope there'll be some Yordle and animalistic Vastaya design from you in future ❤

Amazing video! More than just your stellar artwork, I'm blown away by your attention to the lore and how well you integrated your lore knowledge into the design. Something a lot of other youtubers and artists attempt to do and think they accomplish with their own designs/ redesigns, but you actually pulled it off!

I was thinking about another rider kind of character for shurima, it would be one of the giant croc riders that are part of the cult that follow Renekton, there are already lots of ideas from LOR to go off of. I have some ideas for simple abilities and design: Passive-gain fury when attacking champions ( less for minions and monsters ) at max fury your next ability applies a mark to hit targets, gain bonus movespeed towards marked targets and have bonus omnivamp when dealing damage to them. Marks last 3 seconds, extended by 0.5 each time you hit the marked enemy. Q-Crocodile lunges forwards, dealing damage and slowing enemies. W-rally your mount, gaining a shield and some attack speed. E-do a tail swipe in the area around you, stunning (or knocking back) enemies. R-Gain max fury, marked targets take an additional %max hp damage when hit. Bite in a line in front of you, death rolling the first enemy champion hit, dealing percent current health damage to them. Be welcome to give any more ideas or changes.
Absolutely solid design could be a champion right away- only thing that comes to mind if maybe investing a bit into the rider to get some rider + mount vibe - most riders in league a a unit and it would be fun to see them get a stance where the rider fights side by side with the crocodile as an ability- but that’s just a personal opinion- I love your idea! 😃🤌🏼
@@Arthis_ that makes more sense, you could potentially change the theme if of some of the abilities to include the rider more, like during R the the rider attacks as well to represent the bonus damage.
I loved the rework , the butterfly ascended skin was the best nice metaphor, the only things i would change it Weak Points of the Rework :: 1 -- Darkin Zolani Design - darkin bone wing black, grey claws , i would change it by making the bones of the wings be chains and have the bones of a bat and make them look like hands , because she is a heal but no with good intentions because she is a" Darkin " -- or make giant fat bone , big bones rib wings that she is can use like a weapon , or like hands 2 -- Shield Ability - she is a healer not a shielder , so to do it in a way that feels nice i would give the ribs the ability to attach to the back of other champs , its a nice metaphor about the 2 first humans of the bible , of born or reborn , like a butterfly 3 -- Coven , Primordian Skins - Could be better or select a diferent family of scenes like Elderwood , Zombie , Void Bringer or Program

I love the design ! I dont mind her to be Aatrox female because she is a "support" Ascended that invented Blood magic, shaping flesh, life steal and she can control all life forms so i very different than Aatrox Something i would add is the third form of chains from LOR only because is unique

For her passive, it would be better for us to see her grow like kayle From 1 to 5 asdenant when she was not corrupted. When she unlock her R, she is able to corrupt like darkin. Maybe at lv 18 she transform into her dragonic darkin. That would be better desgin for her as same as the lore and the game play
Great design but that q ht box seems like a complete nightmare to both play with and to implement accurately for the devs. if it didnt come to a point and probably also didnt ramp up in size it would be alot more practical (think how diana q and galio q have 2 parts)
I feel so sad about the fact that we will never have something near similar to this in Wild Rift or LOL because Riot would never be this accurate. Even if we see a Xolaani in the very distant future, Riot will do everything to make her a tragic champion, giving her a skin that doesn't match her aesthetic, or a boring kit as well. This is just soo good, the video itself with the descriptions and the choice of design and skins literally captivated me. Loved everything about it, really, this is a masterpiece.
Now this is what i would get deeply into league for. If only if only. The Darkin Lore is my favorite thing in league of legends but riot would much rather do the whole shallow fan service thing rather than come out with actual interesting stuff

THIS IS SOME OF THE GREATEST LEAGUE CONTENT Edit: the ultimate is very cool. If you wanted to add the blood bending control there’s a character from a game bleeding edge, Kulev. His ultimate lets him control an enemy for five seconds. While you cannot attack, you can walk in a direction. So you could force an enemy to walk to your team, stop attacking and stand still, or prevent them from using their abilities. The timeframe could be 1 1/2 seconds

@@Arthis_ OMG, same, I've been theorizing about Horok for so long. I mean, having both those gauntlets + knowing how to actually use Ezreal's (cuz my boy Ez doesn't really know what he's doing with it) and all around having pretty much a mix of Kassadin's and Ezreal's kit but better, cuz he knows how to use the gauntlets at their full power, sounds really powerful both in lore and in-game. Maybe his ult could either be an install ult (like Gnar) where the powers of the two gauntlets merge, or it could be a form switch (like Jayce), where he switches between what the predominant power is (if it's Ezreal's gauntlet, then both gauntlets have the power of light, with a bright gold nether blade, if Kassadin's gauntlet is the predominant one, then both gauntlets have the voidy power, with Ez's gauntlet shooting purple bolts of energy). I'd be soooo excited to see you, eventually, explore Horok😍
0:57 it was never stated in the lore that Xolaani taught the other darkins blood magic with a secret plan to control them all, that's just Necrit stating his theories as facts. Also twilight didn't create a weapon, she taught people to seal them

I am very impressed by your visual redesign of her & splashart. When it comes to her kit Q is very well designed, reminds me of Anduin W from Hots with a very flavourful twist. W probably needs a high cooldown as combined with the Omnivamp heal it is the highest healing+shielding basic ability i can think of. E seems a bit too similar to Aatrox W and i was a bit disappointed with it as simply not letting enemy get beyond chain length away from the temporary shrine would be a really cool effect (similar to Lamb to the Slaughter Butcher's R in Hots). R is fine but nothing special really. Passive is a bit confusing, Quest has the "5 stacks per prevented death" and i cant really see anything that "prevents death" in her kit. Overall i really like it
love the video :D your take on possible skins are so good! it would be interesting to see you create or add to a skinline for a lineup with a mix of league's and your original champions.

I do really like that monstrous smile in the splash art. I can understand if you like having the veilded wings on the bottom of the helmet so it would be cool if you could somehow fit both. The smile just seems so much better as she's trying to reassure her followers. I don't know her lore that much but with your depiction that she was once a healer I could imagine that her actions are a twisted form of that. She's a corrupted healer with corrupted intentions but her actions still stem for that. You see that in all the Darkin where with their aims and goals they see themselves as doing the right thing. People that were once good and noble but twisted by their exposure to fighting The Void in the war in Icathia. The voice line, "They will never die, because I will never let them," certainly seems to play into that. Reminds me of how cancer is life that never wants to die which is seen as a form corruption. Your design is fine but it would be interesting if her twisted form of doing the right thing ends up with her followers eventually looking like twisted abominations that fit this motif. They can never die and even get reborn and resurrected by her if they're slain but each time become more twisted. There could be exceptions among her elite where they're not complete abominations which could give room for another champion design such as Xolanni's herald or other high ranking position. With the veiled wing design, or even her Darkin design in general, maybe something more moth-like would work better since moths, in myths and fables, are often seen as a corrupted form of a butterfly. You even have real like moths like the Blood Moth that fits into this and her blood magic theme.
Awesome work on Xolaani, and love the skin concept segment! I kind of wanna suggest a new champion concept for a Solari Marksman. I've had such an idea recently. Something to partner Leona in the bot lane + a way to have more Solari since we already have 2 Lunari. My idea for a Solari Marksman had a slingshot as a weapon, with a tall pole that makes it look like Usopp's slingshot from One Piece.

Interesting you went with an insectoid approach for Xolaani because I have a similar idea for Aatrox. I just watched the Aatrox ascended video and while I like the Targonian approach, I think there are things you haven't considered for an animal inspired Aatrox design. Personally, I love Aatrox's banner wings from his pre-rework design and based off of his head piece/horns I interpreted him as being some sort of horned beetle or bug in his ascended form. Perhaps even a butterfly. I still think he should be humanoid but I think I found the perfect animal to base him off of. The Regal Moth (Citheronia Regalis) has horns very similar to Aatrox a beautiful wingspan as well as a vibrant gold and blue colour scheme that perfectly fits into Shurima's aesthetic. And if you want to maintain those banner wings from his prerework design you can borrow the wing shape of the poplar hawk moth. I know that if I used to be a beautiful colourful moth man and then I became what he looks like now, I'd be just as depressed as him.
Anahahah the last sentence- very true - check out the sand chimera in lor this is something that looks a lot like aatrox aswell :D I will definitely check out the moth if I do an aatrox design again one day 😃 thank you for the thoughts!
Your demo made me think of a new fun mechanic: Chaining someone with the ability similar to Viktor's laser E, you effectively chain them to the ground, limiting their movement inside the radius of the chain, allowing some dodging so it's not hard CC. Thinking about it, it's a lot like Camille ult though, unless: it allows breaking the chain via attacking the middle with 2 autos or letting it fade in 1.5s (to be fine tuned)

From 1 to 5 asdenant when she was not corrupted. When she unlock her R, she is able to corrupt like darkin. Maybe at lv 18 she transform into her dragonic darkin. That would be better desgin for her as same as the lore and the game play

Great design but that q ht box seems like a complete nightmare to both play with and to implement accurately for the devs. if it didnt come to a point and probably also didnt ramp up in size it would be alot more practical (think how diana q and galio q have 2 parts)

I feel so sad about the fact that we will never have something near similar to this in Wild Rift or LOL because Riot would never be this accurate. Even if we see a Xolaani in the very distant future, Riot will do everything to make her a tragic champion, giving her a skin that doesn't match her aesthetic, or a boring kit as well. This is just soo good, the video itself with the descriptions and the choice of design and skins literally captivated me. Loved everything about it, really, this is a masterpiece.

Edit: the ultimate is very cool. If you wanted to add the blood bending control there’s a character from a game bleeding edge, Kulev. His ultimate lets him control an enemy for five seconds. While you cannot attack, you can walk in a direction. So you could force an enemy to walk to your team, stop attacking and stand still, or prevent them from using their abilities. The timeframe could be 1 1/2 seconds

@@Arthis_ OMG, same, I've been theorizing about Horok for so long. I mean, having both those gauntlets + knowing how to actually use Ezreal's (cuz my boy Ez doesn't really know what he's doing with it) and all around having pretty much a mix of Kassadin's and Ezreal's kit but better, cuz he knows how to use the gauntlets at their full power, sounds really powerful both in lore and in-game. Maybe his ult could either be an install ult (like Gnar) where the powers of the two gauntlets merge, or it could be a form switch (like Jayce), where he switches between what the predominant power is (if it's Ezreal's gauntlet, then both gauntlets have the power of light, with a bright gold nether blade, if Kassadin's gauntlet is the predominant one, then both gauntlets have the voidy power, with Ez's gauntlet shooting purple bolts of energy). I'd be soooo excited to see you, eventually, explore Horok😍

That’s a good hint about the blood magic! I will double check it - thank you ‼️about the weapon -yes that’s true - it was the chalicar - sivirs weapon that was used in the twilight of the gods - and later she taught the people to seal them inside the weapons - my lines were a bit confusing sorry 😃

I am very impressed by your visual redesign of her & splashart. When it comes to her kit Q is very well designed, reminds me of Anduin W from Hots with a very flavourful twist. W probably needs a high cooldown as combined with the Omnivamp heal it is the highest healing+shielding basic ability i can think of. E seems a bit too similar to Aatrox W and i was a bit disappointed with it as simply not letting enemy get beyond chain length away from the temporary shrine would be a really cool effect (similar to Lamb to the Slaughter Butcher's R in Hots). R is fine but nothing special really. Passive is a bit confusing, Quest has the "5 stacks per prevented death" and i cant really see anything that "prevents death" in her kit. Overall i really like it

This is one of the best designs I’ve ever seen. I feel like all the things you’ve said in this video is something I could see in game. Her kit being based around her lore is such an amazing thing. I would love to see a darkin support
I do really like that monstrous smile in the splash art. I can understand if you like having the veilded wings on the bottom of the helmet so it would be cool if you could somehow fit both. The smile just seems so much better as she's trying to reassure her followers.
I don't know her lore that much but with your depiction that she was once a healer I could imagine that her actions are a twisted form of that. She's a corrupted healer with corrupted intentions but her actions still stem for that. You see that in all the Darkin where with their aims and goals they see themselves as doing the right thing. People that were once good and noble but twisted by their exposure to fighting The Void in the war in Icathia.
The voice line, "They will never die, because I will never let them," certainly seems to play into that. Reminds me of how cancer is life that never wants to die which is seen as a form corruption. Your design is fine but it would be interesting if her twisted form of doing the right thing ends up with her followers eventually looking like twisted abominations that fit this motif. They can never die and even get reborn and resurrected by her if they're slain but each time become more twisted.
There could be exceptions among her elite where they're not complete abominations which could give room for another champion design such as Xolanni's herald or other high ranking position.
With the veiled wing design, or even her Darkin design in general, maybe something more moth-like would work better since moths, in myths and fables, are often seen as a corrupted form of a butterfly. You even have real like moths like the Blood Moth that fits into this and her blood magic theme.
So glad this got recommended to me. Hope riot get inspiration from this Cuzz you did a magnificent job

I kind of wanna suggest a new champion concept for a Solari Marksman. I've had such an idea recently. Something to partner Leona in the bot lane + a way to have more Solari since we already have 2 Lunari. My idea for a Solari Marksman had a slingshot as a weapon, with a tall pole that makes it look like Usopp's slingshot from One Piece.
Would absolutely love that - a marksman who uses the power of the sun this goes hard 🤯

Interesting you went with an insectoid approach for Xolaani because I have a similar idea for Aatrox. I just watched the Aatrox ascended video and while I like the Targonian approach, I think there are things you haven't considered for an animal inspired Aatrox design.
Personally, I love Aatrox's banner wings from his pre-rework design and based off of his head piece/horns I interpreted him as being some sort of horned beetle or bug in his ascended form. Perhaps even a butterfly. I still think he should be humanoid but I think I found the perfect animal to base him off of. The Regal Moth (Citheronia Regalis) has horns very similar to Aatrox a beautiful wingspan as well as a vibrant gold and blue colour scheme that perfectly fits into Shurima's aesthetic. And if you want to maintain those banner wings from his prerework design you can borrow the wing shape of the poplar hawk moth.
I know that if I used to be a beautiful colourful moth man and then I became what he looks like now, I'd be just as depressed as him.
Anahahah the last sentence- very true - check out the sand chimera in lor this is something that looks a lot like aatrox aswell :D I will definitely check out the moth if I do an aatrox design again one day 😃 thank you for the thoughts!

Your demo made me think of a new fun mechanic: Chaining someone with the ability similar to Viktor's laser E, you effectively chain them to the ground, limiting their movement inside the radius of the chain, allowing some dodging so it's not hard CC. Thinking about it, it's a lot like Camille ult though, unless: it allows breaking the chain via attacking the middle with 2 autos or letting it fade in 1.5s (to be fine tuned)
