'The Land before time' is one of my earliest memories and even as an adult I love 'How to train your dragon' , so to have them both combined and mushed together by the tempest of imagination that is your brain was truely entertaining. Thank you for this 😊
I think in part the dragon legend came about from our ancestors finding dinosaur bones and not knowing what they were. Also since in the beginning anyway many dragons images were serpentine, more than likely our ancestors share their environment with snakes that are many times larger than what they are nowadays. And of course there was a presence of crocodiles and alligators.

I would definitely recommend watching How to train your dragon: Race to the edge. Its a series of the time gap from the first and second how to train your dragon movies and it has a ton of new dragons in it like the Eruptor and the Sentinel. (You can find it on Netflix)
